Luke. I never actually thought about Luke dying so Maia could become alpha. It would explain why she plays a big role in TDA.
I think the Seelie Queen because she's falling in deep to Sebastian's web, that can only lead to hurt and pain. Unless you're Clary. Now you've mentioned talking about Maia having a large part in TDA, Luke may actually go. He could die, he could be that snippet about "proving how much I love you, now dying in your arms"?
He waited years to prove to Jocelyn how much he loved her?
How cool would it be if Simons Sacrifice was giving up his vampirism? (Unlikely, but would be cool)
I think Robert might die too and unfortunately, I've always though Alec was going to die :(
Cassie said something big is going to happen to Simon. Big! I don't know why I think he'll die. It's just a gut feeling I have. Like the kind of feeling I had at the end of CoB, when it was said Clary and Jace were related when really it was so obvious they were not.
Also, I think the Seelie Queen may die due to her involvement with Sebastian.
Yes! Seelie queen has got herself in a pickle! The only reason Sebastian won't kill, unless it benefits him.
I don't want Simon to die, but he's cheated death so many times throughout the books. So he could very well die, could be his time :(

That'll lead to the point of one of the couples staying apart. It would be Izzy & Simon, since men can't enter where the Iron Sisters are :( They talk about STAR WARS, they need to stay together! :)

Oh, I don't care for Jordan much. I mean, I appreciate him helping Simon when he was homeless and when he accidentally 'killed' Maureen, but I don't like him as a person for what he did to Maia. I don't think he's changed, and I believe he'll betray the Shadowhunters and join forces with Sebastian. As for Sizzy. There's a snippet that goes along the lives of 'They landed at Simon's feet. "Take your clothes and go!" Isabelle shouted."' Though maybe that was when Alec walked in on them in HIS bedroom.

It really doesn't look good for Sizzy, but I want the best for them. It's so hard for Isabelle to open up, and she finds it hard to trust people. Now this might happen, it isn't fair.

That would be interesting to see Simon's reaction if Meliorn was to sabotage their relationship.
I don't think there would be a love-triangle between them, though. Isabelle looks at Meliorn as only a fling or a good time, whereas when she looks at Simon, she wants something more permanent and serious
I don't really know what to think of him, could never place him. I kept thinking he was shifty and up to something, but nothing ever came if it :/ I think it would be a fair fight between Meliorn and Simon now. With him being a vampire and that.
But yeah, I guess so.

I adore Malec. They're so sweet together!I didn't like Climon. I've always seen them as brother and sister/best friends, than the romantic type of relationship. It's kind of difficult to go from being 'best friends' to 'lovers', because everything you do means nothing, because you're 'best friends'.

I love Alec and Magnus as individuals, but they're great together! :) We all need a friend like Magnus & Simon.
I liked them together kind of, because they had grown together for so many years and despite the percentage been small. Usually best friends become partners.
But Simon to Clary, is like Samwise to Frodo :)

I cried at the movie when Simon was talking to Clary in the hospital when he said "when I told someone I loved them, I expected them to say it back" I was a wreck. :')

The movie itself sucked! And I mean sucked ... Despite how good it was taken from this book series, the movie itself was just ... awful.
They changed the plot to the point where even I hadn't the slightest idea what the hell was going on. The cast was just downright terrible - don't even get me started on Jace.
I would have prefered Alex Pettyfer for the role of Jace ...
I just hope that, if they do go through with City of Ashes, they get the casting right for Sebastian. He is my favourite character, and I couldn't bare to have a whole new perspective on his appearance any more than I could bear Will's.

I'm re-reading TMI, and I'm on City of Fallen Angels, and I've literally just reached the part where Magnus questions Camille in the Institute's sanctuary, and she said "Do you remember London? Remember Will Herondale? That boy of yours - they look alike."
And... I... nearly... had... a... heart attack!
When I first read TMI, I had no idea who Will was, but now I've read TID, I was like O_O

I liked the movie, but yes, they changed wayyy too much. The Shadowhunter Chronicles are my default for fandoms and everything in between. So I was disappointed to see the change from the books.
I loved the casting. The only quarm I had was with Valentine- HE IS MEANT TO BE BLONDE.

The casting for Sebastian is going to be so hard, because himself and Jace look so much alike. Plus this guy has to practically look like two guys for City of Glass. So they actor is going to have to be on the point of perfection!
Even though I despise the guy, I want him casted properly, otherwise the story will be ruined.
For example; If they ever made TID and cast Jem wrong, all hell would break loose with me. I'd go on a rampage.

I loved Jonathan Rhys Meyers - I loved him in Dracula! - and he even looks like Valentine, apart from the hair. I mean, they gave him dreadlocks! It's like … what… the… hell?!
Overall, Jonathan did resemble Valentine. It was just the hair ^_^

Jamie was literally a replicate of Jace, but his hair just did not do it for me. I mean, how much hair gel did the guy need?
As for Sebastian. Conor McLain is just perfect for the role, and I hear the fans are going crazy and signing petitions to get him the role.
With the help of special affects and mirroring, they could easily use Conor - or whoever winds up playing him - for the real Sebastian as well as Jonathan Christopher Morgenstern. Like with Katherine and Elena in The Vampire Diaries - both are played by Nina Dobrev.
I think TID is being adapted into a TV Show, last time I heard. If they don't get Will right, it will destroy me. They simply must get him down to the T! Max Irons would be simply divine :)

The Vampire Diaries is such a good show. It's on ITV2, every Tuesday at 9. But season 5 has just aired, but I'm sure you could catch up.
And yeah, Damon reminds me of Jace and Will, in that kind of sexy-wittiness the three have in common. It's such an attractive trait to have.

He is by far my favourite in TID, along with Tessa. I love Tessa, and their relationship. I remeber one quote from Clockwork Angel and I cried for ages after reading it.

I really hope they bring back Dracula for a second season. My little brother and I would sit and watch if, and we both loved it. He's only 11! But I hear the show received poor rating, so it doesn't look good. You'll love TVD! I don't think I know one person who doesn't. There's a spin-off from TVD, called The Originals, set in New Orleans. It's on only it's first season still.
Damon is my favourite character. I mean, he has these baby-blue eyes like Alec's, and he comes across as the 'bad brother' when really he has a heart of gold.

Speaking of Jem ... When I read City of Fallen Angels the first time around, it did confuse me to see Brother Zachariah stride up to Jace in the Silent City and say "If I had been here when you were born, I would have known what you were thinking," or something like that.
And now I realize - it's Jem! No wonder he showed Jace affection! He's a Herondale, as was Will!

Ever since Clockwork Princess, when he defied The Silent Brothers, by meeting Tessa in secret once a year for an hour- Brother Zachariah made one of the top charactrers on my list. But Jem made it since he first ever came into the story, I love him.
I'm not a big fan of Will, but I cannot fathom how much I love Jem and Will's relationship. They are beyond friends, they are the same person. When Jem “died” (I thought he was dead and broke down sobbing uncontrollably) and he did the thing with the knife. God that was moving on a whole other level.
I don't know how Jem will deal with Alec, since he is a spitting image of Will, but he’s a lightworm :')

I promise, after I've read City of Heavenly Fire, Deception, and Deliverance, I will be sure to read Vampire Academy :)Well, Damon is a vampire, so he'll be classed as a Downworlders in the Shadow World. But he has the personality of a Herondale, if that makes sense. I mean, the Herondale's seem to have their own sarcastic personality going on, and it never fades. Will and Jace are replicates of one another.
I hope that is an actual scene in CoHF. It'd give anything to see Will again!
I loved how Magnus supported Tessa as well. He'd been around 700 years before TID, so he knew what it felt like to watch people fade into nothingness. It was really touching!
I think, in the epilogue of Clockwork Princess, it says Tessa visited her children on occasion, but she refused to have any further involvement with them because she couldn't bear to watch them grow old and die. But then there's the situation of TLH - Tessa is in that, and the storyline draws around their children, so she must have had some contact with them.
I can't wait to meet James Herondale. I hear he has Will's dark hair and Jace's golden eyes ;)
I knew it! I knew they travelled to Pandemonium in CoHF. Cassie said the place in question has been mentioned in previous books, and Pandemonium was mentioned in TID, and now this has just confirmed it!

Vampire Academy and Bloodlines I love them! Adrian Ivashkov! Good lord he is amazing! :p The Herondales are a very sarcastic and bold family. They are all hard as diamonds with a very good poker face, then all mushy and gooey on the inside with some unnerving problem to face! :(
I'd love to see it, just to see them meet again and keep their promises if meeting each other! It'd be very emotional to read, considering they both said they'd see each other again! :(
When Magnus was there for Tessa, I've never felt that way about a part of a book before. It was lovely to read and he was very caring and patient with her :)
That I can understand: I don't think I could bare watching my children grow and pass on, while I stayed immortal :(

Vampire Academy is saved under my to read list :) I didn't know it was a series of 6 books. That'll keep me sane when I'm having withdrawal symptoms from City of Heavenly Fire …I know! The Herondale's seem to have this … bloodline problem where they act witty and self-sufficient toward others, but really they're having a gory battle in their own minds. They all seem to have at least one problem. Jace, with his 'to love is to destroy', and Will with his 'curse-that-wasn't-really-a-curse'.
That's one of the things I find fascinating about Cassie's writing: she shows the characters development and they blossom throughout each book, and she shows the characters facing their problems, not running away from them.

Which is a sucker for Emma, since she's in love with him but romantic relationships between parabatai are forbidden.
In my family I'm the only one who's ever read a book. I mean, I've read 17 books in the last 8 months or so, and the rest of my siblings have not read a single one. That's why I can't really talk to them about books …
Me: *sobbing in dark corner, hands gripped around legs, rocking back and forth*
Mum: "What's wrong? Boy trouble?"
Me: *looks up* "Will … he, he died. Of old age. And his immortal wife is all alone."

It's a very emotional year for books!
They do! They are very mercurial too. They switch between emotions like a light switch going on and off! I loved the scene with Will, where Magnus kisses him! I cracked up at the “arms flailing around like a bee was near him” :')
Great characters though: Cassie has done an amazing job, if it had done well on the movie front. It wouldn't of surprised me if it was a big hit like Harry Potter. The books are amazing, and she writes wonderfully.
I'm a MAHOOSIVE fan of her work and The Shadowhunter Chronicles- I even have a tattoo. :)
Julian Blackthorn is said by Cassie to be a lot like Jem, so it explains a lot why I like him already, even before finding that out. He looks like such a kind soul.
I look forward to the parabatai scene in CoHF, but I cried at the snippet of when Jace sees Jem's faded rune and doesn't know how he would ever cope without Alec. :(
Yeahhh... Like that will stop Emma and Jules. Look what happened in the past:
1- Clary & Jace were related and that didn't stop them
2- Alec is gay and has a warlock boyfriend. All against the clave.
3- Gideon fell in love with a mundane.
4- Gabriel fell in love with his enemy's sister.
I don't actually think the Clave's rules matter anymore. :')
My mum and dad don't read, neither does my boyfriend. I'm an only child, so I'm screwed on the sibling front. They all use to call me insane and that at first, now they just go with it and roll their eyes at me. :')

It's had me thinking- Emma is a Carstairs, but portrayed as a warrior in the tarot cards. So it's very unlikely she is a lot like Jem. He had a warrior streak, but for the right time and reasoning. However, Cassie has said Jules is a lot like Jem, so maybe he might try to sway her away from breaking that all forbidden rule and keep them from not getting zapped by the Clave?
I imagine Jules been a gentleman like Jem, vulnerable and brave like Alec and then a little bit of his own character to mix everything up :')
Get rid of the Clave! My mantra!- Despite not liking Sebastian, he can get rid of the Clave and the Inquisitor while he’s at it. (Oh I giggled so much when that name came up in Dracula. I cracked up!)

That is one of the only books I have ever cried that much at. I was a state, nobody knew how to console me, they just kind of left me alone. :') It was a beautiful book, with the most beautiful ending, when he turned up on the bridge and told her he was no longer ill. I broke down.

A war over who has the better cat. Plus, that's if Magnus makes it out in one piece (touch wood) I don't want him to die. We all know Cassie will have had to have thought long and hard to up-stage Magnus Bane, if he survives. He is one of a kind, and this other guy, will have to hav a full arsenal to beat him!

It is a baffling one, because if Magnus takes them through or Clary for example; What if that person who brought them through dies. Then they have to find another way out. It's so confusing because if it's meant to be a one way system. There must be an underlying loop-hole on getting out.
I have a funny feeling that Sebastian will survive, and they will kind of use his means of how he would get out, to get out also. Then flee to LA before more shit hits the fan!
What if- they drop out of thin air, into the ocean, then we find out why Emma is afraid of it?!

I can very much imagine you freaking out right now about someone touching something Will did. God help you if he was real and he met you! :') But I do think it would be lovely, that it got passed down to her, because of Will saying to Elias to do so :)
