Alyson that's not good points-wise, but fantastic for your TBR!

@Elizabeth Emily I'm using this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... for The Short Life of Bree Tanner (I'm about to start now). We just have to mark that it is this book since we are also using the thread for Life and Death.
I would love nothing more than for Levana to have to stay in a room full of mirrors the rest of her life.
@Mystery It would be so fitting, and it isn't like she deserved any less then eternal punishment that horrific for all she's done!
Yes! I mean, reading Fairest, I was baffled by her ability to convince herself that she was doing the right thing. There is something seriously wrong with her.
@ mystery @ rachel that would be a suitable punishment. She is absolutely horribleI hope everyone gets their happily ever after except her
Story of my life, write reviews or read?!I have so many reviews to write but so many books to read too!!!
Not too bad, Connie! I had a great first two weeks and have been kind of slumpish ever since... slowly getting back into it. You?
I'm doing okay, I can't read much during the week because of uni so I'm trying to jam as much as possible into my weekends. So I'm not doing as well as I could be but university comes first!
School should ALWAYS come first! I have exams from Monday onwards so I'll probably be slacking off too... hopefully it'll pick up for both of us soon.
I finish for christmas on the 14th of December so I'm planning on just bombing through as many books as possible at the end of december
Quick question what book is it, in the beginning there is some kind of polar plunge with the athletes at the and then the lead girl jumps and to save the guy because she thinks he's drowning??? Then he might give her a ride home afterwords, may be in a BW? Does this ring any bells with anybody??? school,
I posted an update of how I'm doing on my blog, I didn't realise that I had already completely finished 3 series!http://sunstormsandthunderclouds.blog...
@Berit: are you thinking about Hereafter? it's the only book where I can think a girl saves a boy from drowning

no idea!
no idea!
@Connie- Fantastic job! You've read so much this month you should be so proud. And I love the idea of a half-way progress check. I might do a post of my own!@Berit- I have no idea, I'm sorry!
Hooray, got my first book up! And it was a 5th in the series buddy read, so a pretty good way to start :) Now that school is finished, I have to see how many I can get through in December...
@Victoria- I found it hard juggling exams and reading this month too! But I'm glad you got your first book read. And wow, 10 points is a good way to start.
Is it just me that is finding it weird not having a team to talk to this month? So I'm probably just going to post here a lot more because it's nice talking to people about books
@Olivia: I've finished 4 so far and I'm planning on finishing another tonight! You?
Connie wrote: "Is it just me that is finding it weird not having a team to talk to this month? So I'm probably just going to post here a lot more because it's nice talking to people about books
@Olivia: I've f..."
Nope, I've been finding it weird to not have people to talk to either. :( It's kind of lonely actually.
I also miss some of the accountability I feel to a team. I find it helps me read more. D:
I miss the organisation a team usually brings! And you get to know people a lot better when you're in a team together! Competition really is healthy sometimes :P
Connie wrote: "I miss the organisation a team usually brings! And you get to know people a lot better when you're in a team together! Competition really is healthy sometimes :P"Exactly! Me too! I usually try to be a serious team as well because I find they are much more competitive and it gives me more drive to read! :)
@Connie & @bookbuyer- I've never participated in a team challenge before because I don't know how much reading I can get done during school months (depends on the amount of work I have etc.) so I don't want to let the team down. But it sounds like so much fun! I really want to try it one time. Maybe in Jan? I have a break all that month. We'll see.
Rachel wrote: "@Connie & @bookbuyer- I've never participated in a team challenge before because I don't know how much reading I can get done during school months (depends on the amount of work I have etc.) so I d..."You should definitely join! If you are worried about how much you are able to read you can always join a 'fun' team. Some people on those teams are only able to read one book and it's no problems. :)
Rachel, they're so much fun! I used to hate the obligation I felt but it improved my reading so much!
@Bookbuyer- Oh, I didn't realise that! I'll look into it then. @Connie- Really? Okay. I'll definitely give one a try then!
Hey guys :) How is everyone doing? I'm trying to read as much as I can to stay in the top ten but you guys are reading like crazy
Gayatri wrote: "Hey guys :) How is everyone doing? I'm trying to read as much as I can to stay in the top ten but you guys are reading like crazy"I'm trying to stay in the top ten as well. I've never been in the top ten and I really want to this time. It is not easy.
I'm missing the groups chat as well...I've been reading, but I haven't posted my reviews in a while, so I have no idea where I'd be in the ranking
I miss the team interaction as well! I've never had a reading slump, my reading is pretty consistent, just enough to get me near the top, but never at the top, LOL! But it's all good, I never reread and I rarely if ever read books I don't want to read.:-)
Connie wrote: "I think I've hit a slumpBut I also like winning :P
I'm very competitive"
We've been neck and neck pretty much the last 3wks, i'm about to put up all the reviews for what i read this weekend :D
Connie wrote: "I've worked 24 hours this weekend so I haven't had much timeFor reading lol"
Yah i feel ya, we've been working 5 10hr shifts for the past 3wks and will be doing til the new year. Too bad i can't use "I need to catch up on reading" as an legit excuse to take a day off.
I was doing really good to start off with, but then school went a little crazy on me. I have all my finals next week, so after that I'm looking forward to doing nothing but reading. (And going to work when I have to)
Saturday is usually my most productive reading day And I got struck down with food poisoning. Man down.
OK everybody, does anybody know of a book with fire on the cover that is either a standalone are the first in a series???
