Ben watched Shannon and ran out after her, when he ran into a girl.

"Excuse me!" Abby said softly, mentally glaring at whoever'd bumped into her. She didn't look up from her feet. She'd been walking for hours, and she was devolping a splitting headache.
Ben looked down at the girl for a second, eyebrows raised. "Sorry," he said, surprised at the cold reaction. He did a double take and recognized her. She looked older, but she was definately Abby. "Abby?" he whispered
"How do you know my name?" Abby said, trying to will her voice from trembling. Maybe she hadn't gotten as far as she thought. She looked up into piercing blue eyes, through her blurred vision.
Ben chuckled, "Aw, come on, has it really been that long?"
His voice. His voice. His voice. Abby brushed the tears from her eyes. "Ben?" she asked, the sight of him almost enough to send her into sobs again.
Shannon saw that Ben was occupied and made a run for it. She sped off happily, she was finally going to get some answers.
Abby wrapped her arms around Ben and let herself get lost in the way his hug felt. Just like it always did. She wasn't quite ready to forgive him, but she let herself hold on for a few seconds, for strength.
Ben pulled back to look at her. "What are you doing here?"
Ben rolled his eyes and ruffled her hair, "Tell me."
Shannon hardly breathed until she saw the mansion, but it only made it worse. Why was she even coming back, was getting answers really worth it?
"First could you tell me where here is?" she asked, still unsure how far she'd gotten. Though it had to be far enough, if Ben was here.
"Boston. Now what are you doing here?"
Ben frowned at her, "A break from what, exactly?"
Abby looked down at her feet, "From perpetual harassment and bullying," she mumbled in a barely audible tone, hoping Ben wouldn't hear, but at the same time hoping he would.
Shannon walked through the doors and almost right into Shawn. Before he could saw anything she started talking.
"Now I want some answers," She started and was cut off.
"I know about as much as you," He said.
"Oh, BS," Shannon said frustrated, "Now you're going to tell we what this place is or."
"Or what, you're going to hit me," Shawn scoffed and grabbed her arm. "You want answers, I'll give you answers."

Ben's hands tightened into fist. "From who?"
Ben tilted her head up. "Abby? Tell me."
"Not again," Shannon mumbled, but followed Shawn, hoping he wasn't going to feed her to the sharks. But her hopes failed her, once again. He led her to Jordan's room.
Ben sighed and hugged her again. "Yes you do."
Ben rolled his eyes at her, "Whatever you say," he half-smiled at her, "Well, come on inside, it's freezing out here."
Ben lead her inside and nodded.
Ben laughed, "I guess. Compared to back home, it's not half-bad."
"Mom and I have been painting the kitchen," Abby said, frowning a little bit at Ben's comment. "It's pretty. Green."
Ben smiled. "Mom? Painting? What did Jay have to say about all this?"
((Jay: abusive, drunk stepfather. Their mom is usually so drunk she doesn't give a crap. Ben left cuz he got sick of being beat by Jay and have him steal his money...))

Ben studied her face carefully. "What did he do?"
Ben felt like he'd been slapped. "I..."
"Shannon," Jordan said suprised.
"Jordan," Shannon said back, her voice like ice.
"So, Shawn, you finally bring her back to us," Jordan turned to his brother. "I think you deserve congratulations."
"I don't want your praise," Shawn said. "And I brought her here for answers."
"You know I can't give you them, and especially not her."
"I'm right here!" Shannon said annoyed they were talking about her like she wasn't there.
"Of course," Jordan said and not taking his eyes from her told his brother to go get their guest something to drink. "Now Shannon, what do you want to know?"
"But you just told," She started.
"I know what I told him, but now I'm asking you. What answers do you want?" Jordan said.
"Why are you doing this?" Shannon was confused, he'd never done anything like this before.
"Why do you think?" He asked.
"Umm, you've had a change in heart?" She tried.
"No, because I love you," He said and looked down as if he hadn't meant to speak the words aloud.
"But you and Lillie," Shannon started.
"I know, but then I met you...and then you had to go and choose my brother," Jordan said his words turning cold. Shannon didn't know what to say so she went back to his original question.
"What is this place?" She asked. Jordan noticed the change in subject and went along, what he still needed to say could wait.
"We're making he world a better place," He said.
"By making everybody the same?" Shannon didn't think that would solve anything.
"Yes, it will get rid of all the problems the world has, by binging everyone together." He said leaning forward in his chair and getting excited. Just then Shawn walked in with hot chocolate. Jordan stopped and talking and leaned back casually.
Shawn gave Shannon her drink, it was her favorite. She felt a pang of regret, but quickly pushed it away, she was on a mission.
((Yeah, I know it's an extremely long post, but it explains some stuff...))

((I didn't mean for it too be that long, I just got in writer mode...and got new ideas for my unfinished book...))
((I like it))
"Down the hall, second door to the right." he muttered, not looking at her.
"Down the hall, second door to the right." he muttered, not looking at her.
Abby walked quickly to the bathroom. She shoved the door open forcefully and locked herself in a stall and let the tears she thought had finally stopped pour out.
((thx, now I really want to write that book))
Ben swore as he remembered Shannon, and felt like a horrible person about everything.

((whatever you do, don't start from the beginning. That plot ended a long time ago. :P))
Abby grabbed some toilet paper and used it to wipe her eyes, clearing her vision for a few seconds before her vision was blocked by fresh tears. "DARN IT!" she yelled to herself.
