Waverley wanted to cry.

((Ugh, I'm sorry I wasn't there. Went to Georgia again. *sigh* I didn't have internet this time. I'm back, though!))
Connie nodded sadly. "Thank you, Wave. I- I'm sorry... to put such a burden on you."
Elly smiled at Rife and kissed his cheek. "You don't know how much it means to me," she said solemnly.

((Yeah, it was good. I didn't get a lot of sleep, but other than that it was good. *smiles wearily*))
Sean smiled sadly. "Yeah."
Connie smiled at Wave. "You're so young, to have to worry so much. I wish I could prevent it..."
Sean smiled sadly. "Yeah."
Connie smiled at Wave. "You're so young, to have to worry so much. I wish I could prevent it..."

Ellis nodded. "You and I, we could've been friends."
Waverley looked at her funny, "Butcha can't, Con, it don't work dat waay!"
"We... still could be," Sean said quietly.
"I know. But I wish it wasn't so hard for you. You're so innocent: you shouldn't have to go through so much."
"I know. But I wish it wasn't so hard for you. You're so innocent: you shouldn't have to go through so much."

Understanding how Connie felt, Waverley approached her again, laying a hand on her face. "I'm okay Con-Con."
Sean smiled slightly. "I didn't know you, at all. And now I think I've had a better look at who you are."
Connie closed her eyes and nodded. She felt cold, and the warm touch made her feel better. "Okay. Oh, Wave, I'm scared..."
Connie closed her eyes and nodded. She felt cold, and the warm touch made her feel better. "Okay. Oh, Wave, I'm scared..."

"I know Connie, I know. I'm scayyed too. But we can do this, together." her other hand rested on Connie's other cheek now and Waverley was looking at her so seriously.
Sean chuckled and nodded. "Can I just ask one thing of you? Don't accuse me of hurting Salem. In any way."
Connie opened her eyes, and tears were glistening in them. "Yes. I know. I know we can."
Connie opened her eyes, and tears were glistening in them. "Yes. I know. I know we can."

"Yup, we can. We'll win the game!" she said, almost excitedly, looking every bit as serious as the second before.
"Well... I thought what I was saying was true. It certainly seemed like it. You would've thought the same think, I'm sure." Sean looked away.
Connie smiled. "Yeah." She put her arm around Waverley. "I'm glad I have you with me, Wave."
Connie smiled. "Yeah." She put her arm around Waverley. "I'm glad I have you with me, Wave."

Waverley moved her hands so she was hugging her friend back, "I love you."
"I think I know. Yes. And I... you're earning my forgiveness. Stick around a little longer and eventually you'll get it in full." Sean looked at Ellis again and smiled slightly.
"I love you too, Wave, I really do." The tears began to trickle down Connie's cheeks.

"Why you cryin' Con? Love is good, right?" Waverley looked liked a lost puppy.
"Good." Sean nodded.
"Yes... don't worry about it. I don't mean to cry." Connie mustered a smile.
"Yes... don't worry about it. I don't mean to cry." Connie mustered a smile.

She nodded. "You're sad though! Why you sad?"
Gibbs' eyes opened and he craned his neck to lick Ellis' hand. Sean smiled. "I think you'll have to stay anyway, because the dog is."
"Oh, I don't know! It's just... being a teenager. It sucks. Don't ever grow up, Wave. You'll cry all the time, for no reason at all."
