"Tell me about it." Emmy nodded then sighed tiredly I think you have mmore than one question... You might as well ask now."
Salem bit her lip, "But I don't know what to ask, how to phrase it."
"Just wing it. If you don't ask, you may never get an answer."
"Kay, so what did she mean when she said we belong to them?"
"Not BELONG to them, more like are of them. I appaerntly, am an experiment. You.. i don't know whatyou are..."
Salem laughed again, devoid of any mirth. "I don't know what I am either, maybe I should ask."
"Maybe you should, they seem in the answer giving moo."
"Hey! Creepy Shadow lady!" she really didn't care if it was the same one, it was just what came to mind. Salem chuckled; it was oddly fun to yell like that.
Emmy laughed"THere are probably numerous Creepy Shadow ladies..."
"Yet there is only one queen.." Mused the woman appearing next to the pair.
"Queen, figures." Emmy mutterd
Salem looked over at the woman; she was pretty. But pretty was an understatement. "Hey."
"I doubt you called me to say 'Hey'" THe woman mused she was like a sharper version of the woman that ha annoyed them eariler.
"Right." She looked at Emmy with mischeif in her silver eyes. "She has a point eh?"
"That she does." Emmy nodded "But I'd get to the point if I were you, she doesn't seem the most patient person.""She has a point, young Salem." The Queen said
Salem looked back at the woman, making eye contact. "Who am I?"
"YOu called me to ask a question you already know the answer to?" The Queen asked raising an eyebrow
"I don't know the answer to that question," she retorted. "I know my name. I wasn't asking my name. Maybe I should've said: What am I?" Salem's voice got considerably sharper.
"You're a..what do your people call them...? Ah, yes a Raindancer. Here you are called Shades." The Queen shrugged"Ad what does that make me?" Emmy asked
Salem made a face. "That's still not what I meant."
"Yes it is what you meant." The Queen insisted "The powers that your people atribute to being a Raindancer is just Shadow energy made to do different things. Justlike Emmiline here, just less potent. You raise no true threat to us."Emmy looked confused
"So what's a 'Shade'? On like the 'food chain'?" Salem made a face at her choice of reference. Oh and thanks by the way, for undermining me like that! Damn you.((lol. sorries, she's just being pissy. anywho..- but ya, she's stronger than every other RD :P she'll have to get over it))
