"So what...? We win the 100,000 dollar prize?"
"What?" She asked clearly confused then with a shake of her head she said to Salem "I can just expand the cell.."

Emmy growled
"Touch either of us and you'll die."

((Shadow's have minds like them right? Pretty much? I need to knw for sure, cause Salem wants to try something. :P))

"Nothing she won't recover from." Shadow grinned.
Emmy slowly sank to her knees
"Damnit." She breathed her hands pressing at both sides of her head.

"Leave. Her. Alone." Salem said, holding a hand out towards the Shadow and focussing on the woman's thoughts. She replaced them with past memories in an attempt to distract her, forcing so many in that it would hurt anyone normal. She had a feeling the woman wasn't normal. Kay, so it was more than a feeling.

Emmy smiled delightedly, like a five year old after being told they had free reign in a candy store.

Emmy dodged the punch that was aimed at her head.

The shadow lunged at Emmy again.

Emmy lept into the air and landed silenlt behind it. Kicking out at its knees.
Salem's Shadow had shifted into a large wolf snarling and snapping at her.

"Woah, feeling a little doggish today?" she joked, unable to find something to 'throw' at it. Salem moved backwards.

The wolf growled and lunged at her.

"Gah, I hate dogs now," she muttered, sending the little wind she could find at it. It wasn't much, so she held her stance.

The wolf wasn't fazed but it shifted into a panther. Now circling her.

Salem made sure to never have her back to it. "You know, this is boring."
((what can I say? She's impatient as heck and likes to annoy people))

She bit her lip, of course not wanting to show her pain in that obvous a way. Salem clawed at it, her nails tapered into almost triangular points, strong and sharp as anything. "Get off me, fool!"

"Good." Fire sprang up in a circle expanding and killing the shadows contacted.
It did so making a sound that could pass for as a chuckle.

Salem glared at it. "Now I'm not one to ask for a fair fight...so I won't." she remembered the small diamond blade she kept with her at all times, tucked into her shoe it a steel sheath. But could she reach it?

The panther growled and lunged at her again.

In a snap decision she ducked, pulling out the blade and gripping tightly. Salem sliced across the panther's face.

The panther recoiled writhing in pain.

Salem took her chance and stepped closer, stabbing the blade into the panther's temple, gripping tightly in her anger.

It errupted into a shower of embers and dust that evaporated into the flames.

"Ew!That is so gross," she said, disgusted.

Another shadow attaced Emmy, a knife in his hands.

Salem smirked. "Is that good enough for you? Or would you rather die than fail this epically?"

The woman went to start towards Emmy, apparently confident in her fighting skills.
