"Yah, but Scotland tends to be like that," she giggled.
"Aha... so that explains it, then." He chuckled. "How about Ramones? Very weird... and very easy to get stuck in your head." He started humming 'I wanna be Sedated'.
He grinned. "Yeah. Then there's one that's not quite so strange..." He switched to 'I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend'.
Shadow smiled at him, "I would sing too, but I don't feel the same way."
He laughed. "I don't mind. Hm... have you heard of The Cure?"
"Yeah, but they're all old bands, so I might not know every song." she looked at him oddly. "You do know the reason I said I didn't feel the same was a joke. I being facetious. I don't want to be your boyfriend."
"Of course. I caught it." He grinned.
Shadow grinned. "Yah." She clenched her fingers, not able to 'see' who was watching, but instinctively knowing it wasn't someone she was friendly with, not by the feeling.
"Do you want to go inside now?" He asked gently, catching her thoughts.
He looked around and frowned. "I think it's just one of those 'someone just walked over your grave' things. There's nobody around," he said.
Shadow nodded,looking aroudn warily. "I guess you're right."

"So do you want to go inside or shall we stay out here? I'm fine with either..." He smiled.

"Salem, come on. There isn't. Let's just go inside." He stood and held out his hand to her.
Her eyes darkened angrily. "Don't talk to me like that: someone is here, someone who's watching!"
"Well if someone else is here then we don't want them watching us, right? So let's go inside so they can't." He spoke calmly. "I didn't mean to make you angry, I just don't see how someone could be watching us and us not hear them."
She glared at him, standing. "Fine, we'll go inside." Sean's tone was making her more angry than his previous words.
"Shadow," his tone was gentle now. "I really am sorry. Please calm down. I really didn't mean to make you angry."
"I'm not! I'm talking to you like you're a person I'm scared to make angry and don't want blowing up at me." He sighed.
The fire went out in her eyes and she sighed. "Let's just go inside."
He nodded. "Really, I'm sorry."
"Yup, whatever. Let's go before I decide I don't want to anymore."
He winced and nodded again. "Okay." He went inside.
Salem trailed behind, looking back at the trees momentarily.
Ellis chuckled quietly as he watched them go.

Salem stiffened at the light sound of laughter her heightened senses caught. But she couldn't tell who it was. She shook her head and went inside.
Sean looked out his window and sighed. He began singing 'Easier', standing in front of the window.
She heard him singing and sat on the floor in the hallway, listening and humming along under her breath even though she didn't know the song.

((okay))She glanced up, just then noticing she'd been singing out loud, even noticing the wetness on her cheeks with a cry of surprise. Salem stood quickly and ran outside again, sitting on the steps by the door.
Sean sighed and sat on the bed, deciding to leave her alone for a bit.

A voice sounded from the trees near her, and now he wasn't hiding. "You and Sean have a bit of a fall-out, did you?"
Shadow looked up with a gasp of surprise. "N-no.."
"Ah, don't lie to me. I've been watching you. You two make a cute couple... too bad it won't last long." He chuckled.
Her eyes darkened. "I knew someone was watching- how do you know it won't last?"
"Because I'll make sure of it, darling." He grinned darkly. "So cute, you two singing to each other... It's my turn to sing to you now."
Shadow shuddered, hating and wondering why she couldn't read him.
