re 675, i tried my hardest to figure out what you needed merged, and in a couple cases i think i got it. but the hardcover eds totally throw me. has someone else been working on this? anyway, i would suggest reposting your request(s) separately and phrased so even an idiot like me can figure it out. i.e., "merge x(link) and y(link)".

That is REALLY frustrating because I separated all editions for merge requests, except where denoted with "to the main edition." Does your finding that the editions were not separated mean that my separate request failed or that another librarian merged before you saw the records?

Edited to add: It looks like Beth combined the editions before you responded to my requests. How can this be made less confusing for librarians and super-librarians?

Not sure, but just to be on the safe side Barth, before being able to do merges myself, I would put a librarian note on the separated versions saying Separated pending Superlibrarian merge. Please do not recombine onto the BAD edition (so that once it's merged the note vanishes :)

Not a perfect solution, but it reduces the chances of accidental "helping"...

If a non-book has no ratings the easiest way to handle is to mark it not a book using the link on the edit page; just under the 'upload an ebook button. If you delete a book with an isbn number you should manually add it back with its isbn and mark it as not a book otherwise it will reimport.

Hello,

There was a spelling error on an entry for Fired Up for the Author. I have fixed the spelling error, and combined the two MMP editions in prep for Merge, but I cannot delete the the incorrect book as it has 11 reviews instead of 5. Once the deletion occurs, the Paperback edition will need to recombined with the master Edition book.

I need these 2 books of mine, I Surrender and Surrender to Me deleted immediately as the rights have been turned back over to me as my contract with my publishers have ended. They have requested all artwork, reviews etc linked to them be deleted immediately.

I have left a note on my author dashboard and also emailed the librarians, but have heard nothing back.

I will be self publishing these books, so are you able to leave the listing still there, just remove artwork, reviews, ratings and any purchase links as these are now obsolete.
