Apparently I'm VERY slow as I just realized I never posted my books for this! Oh well, I chose 4 Across and 5 Down and here's what I read. Only missed one :)

Favorite Genre - Cozy Mystery - Knit One, Kill Two by Maggie Sefton - 5*

Red Cover - The Silent Girl by Tess Gerritsen - 5*

Female Main Character - 12th of Never by James Patterson - 5*

Aussie Author I've never read - The Chocolate Promise by Josephine Moon - 4*

Set in Another Country - Set in USA - kind of cheating but I live in Oz now so I figured it counts - The Glass Kitchen: A Novel of Sisters by Linda Francis Lee - 5*

Book Turned Into a Movie - **Didn't get to read Serena by Ron Rash

Female Main Character - The Girl in the Yellow Vest by Loretta Hill - 5*

Suspense or Crime - Bombproof by Michael Robotham - a disappointing 2* - I usually love his work, but this was not one of my fave's.

Well done Christy!!! And I completely agree about Bombproof - his only dud in my opinion. He wrote it for the year of reading back a few years ago. When the readers bought a book from a particular list, this was one of the freebies that came with it. They've stopped doing it now, more's the pity!

That's the only Robotham book I've read, and I thought it was a bit of a nothing story so I haven't attempted any more

You're very kind Linda, but I only did two rows of the challenge, and I'm JUST starting the last book now! It's a whopper at over 400 pages, so I'll probably still be reading it in a week or two :)

Suzie, it's bad luck you chose that one as your first. His books are amazing - I feel sure you'd enjoy them if you tried again. Life or Death is a stand alone which I loved; I could recommend lots more if you'd like:) Especially his series:)

I finally finished my last book for the challenge - 3 across Book to movie: Far from the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy. And what a book to finish on! A rare 5★ from me. Loved it. A great challenge, thank you :)
