Ruby shivered at his touched. "You're pushing these feelings on me." Trying to fight his power over her. He was too strong for her to fight off these feelings. Nick would save her he would come for her he had too because he was her mate and he had more power over her then Damon. "I'm sorry for fighting these feelings Damon please forgive me. I want you and you only." Ruby said giving into him.

"I'm not pushing anything on to you, darling.... I can't take credit for you coming to me freely. Now, love what do you want me to do?" He asked her letting his finger run down her neck line. Stopping at the base of it where it went into her shoulder. He knew that Nick would be coming soon if he wasn't already. But by that time it might already be too late. Seeing as now she seemed ready and willing to give herself over to him.



Nick had stood there not knowing what to think. It was not logical. Why would she think that? Had it been Rose at the door? It had sounded like her, but then she had been gone within just a few moments. Snapping out of it and realizing that after she had chocked him she had run out the door and away. Now he had to go find her. What if she went to look for Damon to try and get their daughter back? That could end badly. What if he used her, somehow? Got to her because of the power he had by using the small bit of her soul he owned? No, he couldn't let that happen.. He thought. Fallowing her trace as he ran.

Grace fallowed his sent. He was moving fast but that was okay, she was able to move fast too. And she wasn't willing to let her mate get away. At least not without explaining all of this to her. If he still wanted to leave, after he had explained things to her, and he truly didn't want to be with her then-- well. She'd find her own way. Yes it would hurt like hell to loose him, to another. If that was the case but at least he'd be happy. She thought, to herself. But then felt a growl work it's way up her chest and out of her mouth. Her wolf didn't like even the thought of that, that he might be falling for another. No, it didn't like that thought at all. Not that she much cared for it either though.

Ruby looked at him softly and shivered some more and smiled. "Nick doesn't do this to me." She whispered. "Can you make me feel the way Nick doesn't anymore?" Batting her eyes softly a sudden urge to kiss him came over her and she kissed him passionately. Ruby wasn't thinking about Nick anymore.


Will kept running and running. He didn't want to tell Grace what was happening.

Damon watched her reactions to is touch carefully. Hearing her say that Nick- her mate. Didn't do this to her anymore. Didn't make her feel amazing and loved. He could do both. Leaning into her when she leaned up and began kissing him. Placing his hands on her back and pulling her closer to himself as he deepened the kiss between them. Breaking into her mind and saying to her as he did. 'I can make you feel everything Nick doesn't make you feel anymore. And more, if you'll let me.'


Grace kept going, finally tracing his sent to the woods. Why was he running so far trying to get away from her? Did he even know she was tracking him? He had to, seeing as the wind had shifted and it would be blowing her sent to him just like it had done with his. Starting to walk even faster then before when she heard footsteps a mile or so away. Knowing- sensing.. that if she could get that far. She'd find him. She'd find her mate.

Ruby relaxed against Damon she could feel him break into her mind. Her heart pounded against her chest as he deepened the kiss. A tingling sensation crawled over her body slowly. 'I'll let you do anything you want to me. Please I need you Damon.' Her arms went around his neck. 'I'm sorry I left you , please Damon I'll let you do anything.' He was like a drug that made her high yet so addicting sweet. Part of what she felt for him was coming back as if Nick wasn't in the picture in the first place. She believed everything he said. Ruby was becoming Damon's more and more each second and realistically Nick would have to fight hard to get Ruby back. 'I give....' She couldn't focus on her words. 'you me. I'm yours just please I want you to do so many things to me right now,but its all up to you my love.' Ruby didn't break Nick and her's connection yet because that's the last thing on her mind.

Will caught sent of a human and frowned she was camping. He froze for a split second wanting so badly to taste the blood he could hear pumping in her veins.

Grace kicked int a run, she could feel him.. so close. So, so close. And each steep took her closer. Getting a more powerful wift of his sent as she ran. Then seeing him a little ways away between some trees. Calling out once she was almost to him. Maybe now he'd tell her why he had left. Rather or not she'd done something wrong... she'd finally get her answers. Not matter how much her wolf didn't like it. And which she was barily keeping under check as it was now. Reaching him a moment later and resting a hand on his arm. "Will.... "

((Okay, lol Ruby's the only one I really have any ideas how to write for at the moment so sorry if Will is a little sucky. I'm just not having much writer's inspiration lately due to some family problems.))

Will looked startled and ran quickly away from her. Grace was the last person he wanted to see. He was having so many conflicts within himself. The blood pumping in that human girls neck. He darted off then he used an extra boost of speed to get away from her. Time to clear his head was all he needed. Then maybe things would go back to normal for him.

How?? How could she get so close without him knowing, just to have him run away from her again? He had been right there! Right in front of her. She had even touched him, he'd been that close. And then he had ran... but why? The whole thing made no sense. Why let her get close if he only intended to run from her in the end? She thought. Letting herself sink to the ground and then shift into her wolf. Maybe a bit of running, and- and something would help. Maybe she could reach out, talk to Derek. Not that Will talked to him all that much but, at least it would be someone to talk to besides Raven. She thought making a big loop threw the forest.

((Yeah it does, now I actually have no clue what to write since we sort of stopped this particular part of Will and Graces stories do you want to skip somewhere? What if Damon and Ruby are sleeping somewhere and Nick comes up to stabs him with a wooden stake and kills him. Then he has to fix Ruby persae and to help fix Ruby he enlists the help of Will and Grace happens to be watching Avery. Then Ruby spills Will's secret not meaning too, but isn't it in the right mind set yet because Damon messed her mind up. Then Grace could get mad at Will and then maybe thats when they fight and she accidentally gets pregnant.))

Damon smiled as he kissed her, because he knew that she was completely under his control and anything that Nick tried now wouldn't work. And he would have to try like hell to get her back. Nipping at her lip and then slipping his tongue into her mouth. And flicking it against the roof of her mouth a couple times. Then removing it and pulling back. "Come on... lets go someplace a little more, privet." He told her taking her hand and leading her over to where a patch of trees where at. Then pulling her down to the ground with him.

Ruby moaned softly and then giggled as he pulled her down. Afterwhile Ruby's naked body curled into Damon as she fell asleep. Deep deep inside her a tiny little part of her realized what was happening and felt guilty, but that was so faint that she could barley feel it sink in yet. Ruby didn't even think about Nick or her daughter they weren't on her mind. There was some rustling in distant, but she shook it off as an animal.

Damon smiled as he fell asleep. He had done what he had wanted now it didn't matter. He'd had his fun with her now whenever Nick showed up he could have his naked and well used mate back. Wrapping an arm around her as she curled into his side.



Nick had finally tracked them down. After about an hour of walking around trying to find her in the forest which he knew nothing about and hadn't even been too in his whole life. He had found her. With Damon. Naked. Which meant they had done more then talk. A whole lot more. And now they were sleeping in each others arms. He felt as if he'd been betrayed, even though he knew Damon must of messed with her head. Gotten to, her in order for her to agree to sleep with him. Would it of made any difference if he had gotten there sooner? Maybe. But now all he could think about seeing them together was killing the son of a bitch. Picking up the biggest heaviest piece of wood he could find. And breaking the end off so that it was pointed. Starting over to where they were. With every intent of stabbing and ending Damon where he slept.

Ruby moved in her sleep restlessly. Something was wrong she didn't know what it was. She heard a loud noise and her eyes snapped open as much as she wanted to move her body was too exhausted and and overwhelming feeling of peace rushed over her. She smiled and closed her eyes again. Damon was her life now and all she wanted was him. The feelings weren't real for him.

Nick took care of sneaking up on them. he didn't want to give himself away only to have to end up fighting Damon. Not that he wouldn't or he was scared too if it came to that. But he didn't want to if he didn't have to and he could end it easily. Walking out of the tree line seeing both of them asleep. Even though he had seen Ruby's eyes open for a moment but she went back to sleep fast. Creeping over to where they lay. Lifting the piece of wood and then shoving it into Damon's chest right where his heart would be. Ending it.

Ruby heard another noise her eyes snapped open. She saw Damon's lifless body laying in front of her. "No... no.... wake up Damon wake up." She shook his body, but nothing. Her eyes widened up to see Nick. "What did you do?" She asked tears fell down her face the connection with Damon was broken. "No please no Damon." Her mind didn't process this was Nick.

Nick knew that it would be hard to break the control that Damon had over her mind. He just hadn't expected it to be this deep, yet. Even though maybe it was because he had held part of her soul. Would that part return to her? Or would it be lost to the world now that he was dead. Guess they'd find out. Watching as she started to cry, not even realizing it was him. That him, and not Damon was her mate. Simply answering her question. "I killed him... he wasn't a good man Ruby. And you should get dressed."

Ruby shook her head no. "You're not the boss of me. You don't control me." She said backing away some. Her clothes were in shreds and even if they weren't she wouldn't listen to him. "He's not dead. He can't be dead." Ruby looked at Nick. "You're not a good man Damon was innocent he didn't do anything wrong." Her heart started to pump against her chest as one of her attacks started to come over herm

Yeah so maybe he wasn't the boss of her. But he was about to become it rather either of them liked it or not. Seeing as she was convinced that Damon was the incidence in all of this when really he had made her the victim. And she didn't even know it. Seeing her clothes a couple feet away that he found in shreds. Guess he'd be handing over his shirt to her if she diced to get dressed. Sensing threw their link that she was about to go into one of her attacks. Maybe that would be the kick she needed to realize that Damon's death was for the best and all he wanted to do was protect and help her. "I beg to differ.... do you even remember who I am?"

Ruby wanted to answer him, but she wasn't sure. She closed her eyes all her mind was thinking about was Damon how much he made her feel his lips on her body. "Give me Damon I want him now." She snapped. Trembling some. "He's not dead he's going to wake up and your going to die." Ruby looked at him. "You're a stupid vampire who killed my mate. You're not the boss of me and I will not listen to you"

Too bad. He couldn't give Damon back to her, and even if he could he wouldn't. Not in a million years. Shrugging his shoulders at her. "Sorry, can't, give him back. And even if I could. I wouldn't. Mate, huh? That's strange... now isn't it." He didn't care if this thing lasted all night. If this was how he had to convince her that Damon was really dead and not coming back. And wasn't her mate.. then so be it.

"It isn't strange at all." Ruby said looking at him. "Why do you care so much? We never meant before this and you don't know me." Damon had block any memory of Nick because he wanted her mindless. All she was to him was an object that he could use when he wanted to. "You will die." She quickly grabbed a stick, but it dropped it. "Go away you killed the man I loved."

Ah, he'd bet anything just to make sure she didn't snap out of his control Damon had gotten ride of all her memories she ever had of him. Which would only make this a whole lot harder on him to help recover her memory now that the jerk face was dead. "Maybe. How do you know we've never meet before? Just because you don't remember me doesn't mean we haven't."

"Why wouldn't I remember you?" Ruby raised her eyebrows. Looking at her lifeless love's body. She began to tremble some. What was she supposed to do? Damon told her said if she left his side she would be punished. Ruby really believed that Damon loved her, but all he wanted was a mindless servant who would let him have sex with them. "He loved me and you killed him. Why would you think t-h-hat I would go with you." Ruby wanted Damon to touch her and make her feel wonderful. "He made me feel wonderful something no one else can ever do." Nick made Ruby feel wonderful and her mind might not remember much, but her body would. A piercing headache started to form she shook her head quickly. "Stop whatever you doing stop" She wasn't sure why she had a headache, but it was easier to blame Nick. "You're making sure I can't cry. You're making me get over him. Stop it." she accused him. In reality those fake feelings were leaving and its hard to be sad about something that wasn't real.

"Believe what you want to... but I'm not doing anything besides standing here." he told her pulling off his top shirt and then laying it down for her to put on. Seeing as it was unnecessary for her to walk around. Let alone just sit there with no clothes on. "You think he loved you? He was just using you. Like he used everyone else." he told her telling her the truth. Damon used people to serve his own peruse. Once he'd gotten what he wanted from them he moved on. Yes, he'd done a lot of digging on Damon in his spare time. He wanted to know what he was going up against, when he fought him. But now he wouldn't. Seeing as he was now dead by his hands, and he wasn't coming back. Ever. And if he did somehow, he'd end him again.

"Damon wouldn't use me." Ruby said softly cringing a little bit. "He loved me. Damon loved me......" She was growing angry at him. She looked down at the shirt and hissed at it. "Its your fault that's he's dead." Ruby was confused by him and everything, but this growing anger in her was sparking bits of pieces of Nick. She took his shirt and threw at him. "I will not wear your shirt. I will not go with you. I will not do anything you want me to do. You can't control me." It was only the raw pure emotion of anger that just happened to be her last emotion of him. Anger for her life quickly spiraling down. "Everything is your fault."

"Well you can't stay out here naked, it's getting dark. And it's going to get cold, even for a vampire. And sense your clothes are clearly in shreds over there... you're going to need something rather you like it or not." He told her. Yeah he knew that it was just her emotions talking. And it was most likely the last feelings she had for him, which was anger. Feeling her fingers around his throat again even though they weren't really there. "Yeah it is.. but I don't regret killing him. Not for a second, and you need to understand that." So what? Before he would of tired calming her confronting her. Not this time. This time she needed the raw hard truth.

Ruby tilted her head to the side, looking at him and shook her head. "I'm not going to listen to you." She spatted at him. "Unless if you make me. What do I need to understand? You killed the person that I love." There was no emotion in her voice, because she didn't love Damon and that was slowly starting to sink in. "He didn't come for m-m-ee. I needed m-my boyfriend and he didn't come for me. You didn't come for me." Ruby's knees collasped her face was burning up her body was trying to fight off the rest of Damon's controlled, but it burned. "Burns."

Will got a voice mail from Nick saying he needed his help unbrainwashing Ruby, that was his specialty as he worked on it in the pack. He turned around and head back to Nick's little did he realize that Grace was there watching Avery. He knocked on the door to the mansion.

Nick had called in Will, seeing as after everything he had learned how to erase brainwashing. Part of his training in the pack and everything. And that's what he needed help with right now. He needed to get Ruby unbrainwashed. Out of Damon's control despite the fact that the guy was dead. And she was slowly coming to realize that, and he could tell that with the no emotion in her voice the feelings she thought she was feeling for Damon was real when really they never where. Letting out a breath. She was hardly making sense and it was possible an hour from now she wouldn't remember who he was again. Reaching out slowly and resting a hand on her check. "I'm sorry, I didn't make it in time... I tried to find you as fast as I could. But I just wasn't fast enough."



Grace had gotten called in to come and watch Avery. Even though she hadn't done much but sleep sense she'd arrived. Nick had called in a panic saying he needed her over asap. So she had left as soon as they'd hung up. And had made it there in ten minutes. He had sort of explained what was going on before taking off himself to go hunt down Ruby and save her before it was too late. She didn't know anything else, other than that. Looking up when a knock came at the door. Going and answering it believing it to be Nick seeing as he had forgotten his keys on the table she had noticed when he had run out. Opening the door without even checking to see who it was with every intent of cracking a joke about leaving his keys. But stopped herself when she saw who it was.

Ruby eye's closed before she could answer her body went limp. All she could process was Nick didn't make it in time. Did that mean he didn't want her or....... Her mind went blank as it was covered with darkness. The only thoughts if any were about Damon.

Will looked up at Grace. "Oh I didn't know you were here. I'm suppose to help unbrainwash Ruby since that is my specialty."He whispered softly looking down. "How's Avery?" he asked trying to ease up the awkwardness

Nick bent and picked her up so that they could get back to the house. Hopefully Will would already be there that way they could get started sooner rather than later. He thought as he started back the way he came.


"I got called in last minute to watch Avery, while he went to track down Ruby.-- She's good, she's mostly been asleep sense I've got here though. Come in.." She said trying to help ease the awkwardness between them. Seeing as they hadn't spoken sense the last time she'd seen him in the forest.

Ruby felt her body against someone. "Damon you came for me."She said deliriously. The images around her started to change as they were arriving to her house. She lost consciousness again and curled into Nick his body was cold compared to how she felt.

Will noticed them coming up. "Grace go run a cold bath now." He said this was what he did all the time brainwashed people and unbrainwashed them. That's what Derek did to and in that way they got each other. It wasn't like he was proud of this, but he never questioned it either. "Nick ,Grace has cold bath for her go put her in it. She's experiencing withdraw from him the next 48 hours will be crucial in deciding if she will be a brainwashed slave for the rest of her life. Prepare for the worse, you have to fight like hell to make sure she doesn't sink back into his control. When the two days past it will be her turn to fight."

Grace nodded and went to what she knew to be their room and started running the cold water into the tub. It would take a few minutes to fill up but that would give him time to get her in here.


"Okay, Thank you so much for doing this... I know it's possible it wont work. But thank you." He said quickly then headed into their room where he heard the water running. Not even undressing her. Just sitting her in the cold water once Grace had turned it off. "You can go, tell Will I got her in. I'm going to stay with her, just in case she wakes."


Grace looked at Ruby as Nick put her in the tub clothes and all. She didn't look like the Ruby she'd come to know, but hopefully she would soon. She thought, as she nodded and wished him luck before going back out into the living room.

Ruby's body against the cold water. Her eyes snapped open as she smelt a wolf. "Werewolf can't be trusted. " Panic started to rise in her, but she was too tired to struggle. "I know a werewolf and don't trust her. Her mate is a hybrid, Damon. The sad part is his vampire side is coming back and that means he might not even love her anymore poor girl, but I have you." She smiled softly. "Damon you love me so much"

Nick didn't bother saying anything, in response. She'd be out again soon anyways. Just watching her as she talked. She still thought he was Damon, but it would pass. Just like it had in the forest. Or at least he hoped it would. Reaching out and taking her hand that rested on the side of the tub. "Yeah, I love you so much Strawberry.." He said praying that the nick name would spark something inside of her. That she'd remember something, even if it was something little that they'd shared.. it wouldn't matter. As long as she remembered.



Grace hadn't made it all the way to the living room, she'd been at the door when she had heard Ruby start talking. Holding her breath hoping she wasn't strong enough to come after her. Finding out soon enough that she wasn't, but heard something even more worse then her coming after her could ever be. Why hadn't he told her that the reason he'd left was because his vampire side was returning? If he'd told her they could of tired to work it out.. tried to find a way to- to- to do something about it. She would of walked away if that was what he had wanted. But instead he had left, without saying anything to her about it. Feeling a tear roll down her face swiping it away before walking out into the spaciness living room. Finding Will still out there, clearing her throat before speaking. "Uh, Nick has her in the cold bath.. so I don't know how long it's going to be."

Ruby frowned a little. "Damon where did you hear that? You never called me........" She closed her eyes tightly as pain roared through her. "No one calls me that..." Her memories were trying to scratch their way to way to the surface. "No one calls me that, but N---i......." Her voice was cut off as she passed out again. The tremors of pain crashed into her body like it was nothing. She let out a scream. Her body automatically let the darkness back and thoughts of Damon overwhelmed her.

"Well the cold bath will last until she moves out of the withdraw stage......." Before he could finish the sentence he ran up the stairs as he knew what was happening. "Nick make sure she doesn't fall back to sleep wake her up. Damon has a memory block on her which means that when the memories try to come through it will be painful, but if you keep doing it will be like ripping off a band-aid. You have to do it. Once we get the memory block off helping her through withdraw will be easy."

Nick had known that it wouldn't be easy. And yet, the nickname alone had brought back something, it might not of been something big that they'd done. But at least, it had been something. Some little shining bright light. If only for a moment before she'd passed out again. Looking up when Will came in saying that once they got past this point it would be easy. He hoped so. Because this hadn't even been 4 hours yet and already it was killing him. "Should I wake her now? That way at least I can keep helping her get memories back."




Grace, looked up when she heard a scream coming from the bathroom. Not knowing if that was a good sign or not. Walking to the window and looking out. She knew this wasn't meant to be about her a Will's problems. It wasn't even about either one of them let alone herself. She wasn't that selfish to try and make it about them either. All they needed to worry about was Ruby and helping her through all of this. But still- if what Ruby had said and she'd over heard.. was true. How could she look Will in the eye and know the truth about why he'd left without him telling her. Without him asking for her help. She would of done anything, she loved him so much. Still did and it hurt like hell. And still he hadn't come to her for help.

Ruby started to fidget some the cold water was getting too warm for her body. "Refill the bathtub with cold water." Will said and shook his head no. "It looks like she wakes up for about 15 minutes before Damon's control over her starts to happen" He glanced at Nick. "I'm against you letting go and all, but that would make you more powerful than Damon and you might be able to rebuild the connection more easily. I'm just trying to give you more options that have a higher chance of working. The way this is going so far Ruby might stay a mindless slave. Normally a person can stay awake longer and fight off longer." Will said.

Sweat drippled downed her face. "Yes I'm a very good girl, Damon. I give myself to you please don't stop" She mumbled in her sleep. Ruby wanted Damon.

Will sighed. "Ah wake her up and just force herself to think about you." He took out some little bottles of serums and gave her a quick shot. "These wake up the mind and memories. Give this to her everytime she mentions Damon." Ruby scrunched her face as her armed stung the thoughts of Damon backed away. "These blue ones help diminishes his control. Give this to her everytime she falls a sleep.

Nick nodded listening. While they had been in the forest she had slightly recalled who he was. But that had faded fast, and she had gone back to thinking of him as Damon. Rubbing as his eyes as he set the two containers off to the side so that she wouldn't be able to reach them but she would every time he needed to give her a dose. Starting to refill the tub with cold water and then turning it off when there was enough in there once more. Already starting to work on waking her up again. "If it doesn't appear that she's getting any better by tomorrow I'll let go. But I'll only do it if we have no options left. Will sighed. "I'll be back in a hour to check on her and if she isn't doing any better by the end of tonight Nick then she's not going to get any better. The reason I said a 48 hours theres a small chance that she can jump back tomorrow. There's hope for tomorrow, but you need to make a choice........." he walked back downstairs.


Ruby frowned some. "I want to sleep." She complained. "I'm tired." She stirred and open her eyes. "I want to sleep. Why won't you let me sleep." She asked softly. "Damon why aren't you letting me sleep?" Ruby yawned. "You're......... the person who called me Strawberry no ine calls me that, but N-i..........." she jumped back startled by Nick she winced at the pain. "Please let me go back to sleep it hurts too much to remember who calls me that"

Nick looked over at her once Will had left to go back to the living room. Seeing her awake, and -- well some what alert at least. That was better then nothing. Shaking his head and giving her a shot of the other one he'd given to him and told him to give her every time she woke. "No, Strawberry.. you gotta stay awake. Look at me,okay? I know it hurts, to remember but you can't go back to sleep. You have to stay awake, talk to me if you have too. But you can't go back to sleep, you need to try and stay awake." He told her almost peddling with her to stay awake.




Grace didn't hear when Will started back down the stairs. She was too lost in her own thoughts, and staring out the window. Still wondering why he hadn't told her, what she would of done if he had. How far she would of gone to help him if he had. But he hadn't. And that was killing her. To think that he didn't trust her enough to come to her when he needed help.

Ruby backed her arm away quickly as the shot stung. Pain started to come back. "Make it stop please make the pain stop. I'll do anything just make it stopped. Someone calls me that someone who means a lot to me." The pain struck her harder this time as she let out a scream. "I just want to sleep it doesn't hurt." She stammered. "It doesn't hurt when I sleep." Her hands clenched her sides as waves of pain hit her. Her heart started racing. I can't do this she thought.

Will heard the screams and waited at the bottom of the stairs. Waiting to see if Nick could handle it. Letting go seemed to be the best option right now. He wasn't sure if Nick could watch Ruby go through that much pain.

Nick put the container back where it belonged. it had enough doses to last for a while seeing as Will had told him to give it to her every time she woke. "I'm sorry, but it'll help.... Do you remember my name?" He would stick to his word. He'd wait until he had no other chose and then he'd let his control go so that he could help Ruby. But that was only if she didn't start getting better. "You can't go to sleep.. I know you want to. But you can't. Just hold on," Maybe if he talked to her. Distracted her, that would help.

Ruby didn't answer him it hurt too much to form words. She whimpered softly. Tears rolled down her cheeks. She couldn't do it any longer. The pain started to come faster which caused a numbing pain. Her hands fell hitting the surface of the water as her whole body went limp. Her head landed on the side of the tub, blood gushed out of the wound. Ruby's eyes shut as her body began to shut down.

Will eye's widen as he smelt blood. "Is everything okay up there?" Will called up.

Oh damn.. this was not good. Not good at all. Nick thought as he hurried and got a towel and pressed it against her head where the wound had opened up. Proping her up more so that she wasn't about to slid any further into the tube. "Uh, kind of..." He called back having heard Will's voice asking if everything was okay or not.

Will face palmed himself. "Nick I need to know what's happening so I can help." He quickly listened for Ruby's heart beat it was slowling down. "Nick I can't help her any more if she lives or dies its up too you." Will said knowing only Nick could keep her alive.

Ruby's mind was going blank quickly. She didn't see why she had fight because it hurt so much this was much better, but she didn't realize that she was dying. Her lungs tried gasping for air. The hit on the head unblocked her memories they started to flow into her mind. "Marry me....." Were her last words before everything went blank.

At least he could still hear her heart beat. That was good, it was faint but still there. "I NEED SOME HELP UP HERE!!" He yelled when she totally blacked out. Hearing her last two words, so she remembered.. the knock to the side of the head must of done it. But it wouldn't matter at all if he couldn't get her back and wake her up. Starting to panic.

Will ran up the stairs seeing what was happening. "Nick none of us can help you. You're the only who can stopped Damon's connection that's what's causing her to do this. Your her mate, Nick. I'm sorry I wish I could help." Will said looking at Ruby's lifeless body. "Take her out of the tub and start doing CPR on her. You need to get air flowing in her lungs then after that rebuild the connection." Will said he didn't know what to do and his only suggestion Nick wouldn't do.

Ruby realized what was happening Nick had rebuild her connection. A rush of air and power flowed through. The cut on her head healed and her started to fluttered open. You're one of us now A voice said in her head. Her faced paled because she had an idea who it was. The connection with Nick was there again. Forgetting about what happened just for a second and smiled. "You never answered me Nick. Its rude to keep your Queen waiting"

Nick had sent Will back down once he had gotten Ruby out of the tube and breathing again. Knowing that she'd want time alone with him without anyone else. Letting out a breath of his own in relief when she breathed and her wound started healing. "Thank god... I thought I lost you.." He said then smiled when she said that it was rude to keep his queen waiting. "Yes. The answer will always be yes.."

Ruby smiled softly looking at him. "You can't get rid of me that easily." She said. Ruby sat up and then curled into him. "Nick I'm sorry about everything." She said in a quiet voice looking down. Her mind went back to the voice she heard minutes ago. "The elders didn't let me die. I think they made me one......" Ruby whispered in a soft voice. "I want to tell you things from now on"
