Haha! Well Factionless don't get to join faction's and who else would take him in right? lol Really though, is there no way you could squeeze me in, and I get it if you can't. I understand that the movie probably made it really busy for you, but really the other factions are just boring.

Personality: Genevieve is loyal, competitive, out-going and unpredictable. Her birth sign is Scorpio so if you get on her bad side... Watch out, but if you're her friend she'll be totally loyal and trustworthy.
History: Gen is currently a Candor and she loved growing up with her two older siblings, Jem (20) and Chloe (18). But her whole family was thrown into great depression when Jem joined Dauntless and mysteriously died in the chasm two weeks into initiation. Her whole family has despised Dauntless ever since. Her parents would call them "raving savages" and "crazed psychopaths" and complained about how dangerous they were. But, oddly, Genevieve has always been fond of them. She didn't blame them for killing Jem. Maybe Jem accidentally fell over the side... Who knows.
Whenever she would say that her parents would yell at her and tell she didn't know what she was saying. Chloe was half-and-half; she used to have a Dauntless boyfriend who cheated on her, so she always had a grudge on them.
Chloe stayed in Candor, but at times Gen felt like she didn't stay. Their parents were the psychopaths. And, that's why Gen was intent on leaving.

Personality: Collin loves helping others. He is selfless, and also selfish sometimes. He usually tells the truth, but he must lie if needed. He doesn't like violence, but he still shows his dark side to defend himself or others. He doesn't like outdoors. He just wanna stay inside, and read a good book. He is really shy. He doesn't like going to big fights, and just watch things pass by. He doesn't talk to people that much. He usually waits for them to start the conversation.
History: Collin hates and loves being Dauntless. He hates it since he is forced to fight. But he loves it since he feels free. But he always thought he never belong there. Collin has a best friend. He transferred from Dauntless to Abnegation. His name is Rory Trivett. They have a lot in common. They both love helping the needy, they both love chocolate muffins, and they both love painting. Collin is pretty sad ever since he transferred a year ago. His parent's names are Alena and James Vonché. Him and his parents are the complete opposite as him. They like violence, he prefers peace. They love dogs, he likes cats. They weren't originally from Dauntless. They were from Erudite. But they acted complete Dauntless. He has 2 brothers. One is 15 and other is 19. The 15 year old's name is Nathan. Him and Collin are the closest. The 19 year old's name is Ray. They don't get along that much.

Idk... When I was looking at the other submissions, I thought my character can also be older than 16. But if it's not allowed, then Collin can be 16.

Hey I know this isnt the place to ask this but I checked the character lists and it said something about spots opening for dauntless on april 1st? Is that true and if so is it first come first serve or by request?

Appearance:
Personality:He is usually selfish, keeps to himself, he doesn't usually like other people, it takes him awhile to like somebody, he is extremely intelligent (though he never admits it), he is sarcastic, he is stubborn, courageous, brave, protective, cocky, and an ***hole.
History:Shayde never knew his father growing up because he died a couple months after Shayde's sister, Lizzie, was born (His father was Divergent; Shayde was 3). His mother had to raise bothe Lizzie and Shayde. Shayde quickly learned how to defend himself at the age of seven. By his eighth birthday, Shayde knew how to hunt. His mother always nagged him about how killing innocent animals is not selfless, it is selfish, that Abnegation provides enough food for them, so why go out and be a glutton. Though, deep down Shayde's actions were selfless---he just wouldn't admit it: he was hunting to feed Lizzie, who never ate the food their faction provided them because she didn't like it. Although Shayde can be selfless, he doesn't want to be. All his life he has thought about his mother and sister, and how he is the only man to take care of the family. Even to the day of the Choosing Ceremony, he debated between Dauntless (due to his bravery, courage, and ability to hunt), Abnegation (in order to protect his little sister Lizzie), or Erudite (due to his intelligence). Secretly, Shayde wanted to choose Erudite. His intelligence was something Shayde never showed. Even in school, he purposely failed some of his assignments. Shayde has always been ashamed of his intelligence. So how can he choose Erudite, the faction he wants to choose? That would be selfish of him! The tattoo of a feather on his right forearm represents his longing to be set free and weightless: being who he really is, despite what people think.

However, he tends to be distrusting, cold and almost snobbish, and is highly intelligent. He loves chess, and is the current school champion. He's confident enough, and doesn't hate public speaking, but he's not amazing at it like some of the other Candor. He gets into a surprising amount of arguments though. His favourite subjects are maths and science.
History:
Born in Candor, to his parents Mariah and Tomas. Does well in school, not brilliant but well. He has two younger siblings, twins Xanthe and Hwan who fight A LOT. His family is quite strict, however they are also loving and very close as a family. He doesn't have a lot of friends at school, not since Emile (who was his best friend) died. After that, he seemed to retreat into himself and become very distant to everyone except his siblings.

Thoughts on leaving: Maybe, maybe not. He likes Candor well enough, but has seriously considered Erudite.

Appearance:
Lacie is tall, has white hair and violet/blueish eyes.
Personality: She is kind to those who deserve and earn the kindness. She tries to stay out of people's way. She is smart and enjoys to learn new things. She is artistic and always tries to find some beauty in everything she sees and does. She is also good at keeping her emotions hidden when she wants to. She is also a hard worker and perfectionist who tries and tries until she has perfected something.
History: She was raised in Erudite with her little brother (12), Carter, and her parents. She has always been attached to her little brother and she would always protect him from any harm. But her parents would always try to make her perfect. As a child, she always tried so hard to please her parents. She just wanted to be praised. So she'd study whenever she had the chance, she stayed away from any sort of trouble and did many extra curricular stuff like music and art. In the end, she never felt love from her parents. Her brother was a bit different though. He would always find himself in some sort of trouble, always misbehave and always speaking the first thing that comes to mind. Lacie always admired how free her brother seemed.
Current Faction: Erudite
Thoughts about leaving and staying: She thinks about staying because of her brother. But she knows that when he turns 16, he will probably not choose Erudite. So she knows that she would only keep him from choosing what he wants.
She considers leaving because she wants to think about herself for once. She wants to start over somewhere new.

Appearance: Aaron is 6'4, Skinny-Muscular, and Caucasian. He has Medium Length Brown Scruffy Hair, Green Eyes, and Big Hands and Feet.
History: Born to two Factionless, Aaron grew up on the streets learning to fight and survive on his own. His parents abandoned him as a child, so he was raised by other homeless teens about his age. Adopting the name Stickman, he was very successful in street survival. Until one day, his friends were all arrested for stealing food and Stickman was left alone to starve on the street. At age 15, he was adopted by an Abnegation family, illegally, while he was starving to death on the street. He has lived as their illegitimate child since.
Personality: Stickman is crazy. He can not sit still ever. He needs to be actively doing something. He is very gutsy and will always seek a thrill. Although, to other people, he is a shut in and generally does not like to open up his feelings or emotions. He is generally cool and relaxed but has instances of extreme anger and rage when he thinks about his past. He is tortured by the emotional pain of his past.
Faction: While he is grateful to his adopted, Abnegation family for saving his life, he is restless and desperately feels the need to get back into the world and join Dauntless, even though hes has a resentment for them for the arrest of his friends.
(Aaron had a rough childhood and a lot goes on in his mind making a slight divergent, but he was not born one.)
