Appearance: Catherine is fair skinned, tall, and curvey. With B-Cup breasts and a fairly nice figure, long thick natural blonde hair, and an inquisitive face, she’s quite pretty. Sharp features, big green eyes, thick eyelashes. She always wears makeup. Often her hair is loose or in a bun or ponytail to look tamer. She likes comfy, baggy clothes, or professional clothes with heels when trying to make an impression.
Personality: She’s very… commanding. She’s bold and not afraid to say what she thinks. Always walking with her head high, always taking the leadership role in groups, always the first with a plan. She can be a bit arrogant sometimes, thinking she’s at the top of the world, but when she gets pulled back down to earth she can be okay. She knows morals, she knows right from wrong, and it puts her world in perspective. Her world is in black and white, right and wrong, there’s no gray middle. She makes one decision and she sticks with it. She’s very direct, very upfront, very honest and blunt, and sometimes judge mental. But she’s good, in the end.
History: A lawyer father, a lawyer mother, a rich, spoiled only child with all their expectations put on her. She had constant pressure growing up, always having to be perfect, always having to be honest. She strived to make them proud, to be the person they taught her to be. She’s the only child that gets everything she wants, but if she makes one mistake everything is taken away. She never had time for friends or to just relax, she always had to be perfect. Because of that, it shaped who she is. She’s always been herself, and that is what is important.

Appearance: Tall with a slender body and broad shoulders, he has pale skin and spiky, carefully styled blonde hair. He also wears glasses and has sharp, calculating hazel eyes. Always smirking, except when he’s not happy. Usually wearing a suit. He’s quite handsome, but don’t let that fool you.
Personality: He’s scum. He’s arrogant, cocky, boastful, and as charming as a snake. The only friends he has are friends who will be useful, and once they outlive their usefulness he drops them. He’s calculating and cold, as much of a fiend in person as he is in court. However, he knows the right place and time to be himself, and time to put up a façade. He’s a shameless romancer, charming the pants off any girl stupid enough to listen to his honeyed words. The legend goes he has a tongue like a snake, and that’s not the only thing snakelike on his body. The boy has fingers of gold. Everything that comes out of his mouth is a lie, but because he’s planning on joining Candor, everyone will believe him. He’s intelligent and strategic, no room for error, and cruel when angry. He has no qualms about hitting anyone, especially girls, though mostly he uses his sharp tongue to retaliate. His bad temper usually is hidden, except when it isn’t, and that’s when he’s most dangerous. He’s ruthless when he wants something, going to extremes to get it. Two words. Stay. Away. You’ll thank me later.
History: His dad was a drunk, often coming home and smacking his mom around. When Dexter was ten, his mom had enough and took him away from his father. She raised him for the next six years, during his rebellious years, but soon he became as bad as his father, smacking his own mom around. Now it’s time for his test. And time to make his faction bow to him.

Personality:Michelle is quite of what you'd call an energy loaded girl, she got too many ideas up in her mind, running from one place to another, breaking the calm tension in Amity. She is known for sometimes talking too mucn sensless stuff, but on the other hand, if it's serious she can be sensitive too.
Michelle also is easy to fool. It's a weakness that she fast believes everything a stranger tells her, would someone tell her she got a spider in her head, she would check her hair without any doubt.
Michelle uses to wander around her city, discovering new places, anything that distracs her from the boredom in Amity. In her faction she is only known as "the crazy one".

History:Michelle is Amity born, already when she was only ten years old, she used to jump around on the kids place while the other children just were sitting on the floor, drawing or playing with barbies. Through her teenage years, her relation to her father has always been better than to her mother. Her father showed her how to build small things with wood although her mother never really wanted him to do that, this is only Menstuff, she said. More and more she started spending her days in a forest or somewhere else, finding things from other factions, instead of working on the fiel with the other girls and women which made her mother really angry. Her mother had asked her many times not to be so full of energy and just to be "Amity-normal" but Michelle had just replied with a simple "I don't wanna be so super boring". This had broken the relation to her mother fully, they sure keep talking and stuff but you can see, Michelle's mother never hugged her like a mother should again, it all seemed now more forced. But Michelle didn't and doesn't really care, she is already sure she wants to leave this boring little world.

Even though she's not supposed to, she stands up for the people in her faction.

Appearance: Skylar is five foot, two inches, with a curvy figure. Her lips are full, her nose is small and slightly upturned, with wide, bright green eyes that feel almost too large for her face, all of it framed by reddish-black ringlets with a deep side part in her hair, which falls just past her shoulder blades. Her skin has a deep golden glow, but pales quickly when the sun declines to shine for an extended period, at which point tiny brown freckles dot her arms, cheeks, and nose like a blanket of stars in the night sky.

Personality: Skylar is kind, impressionable, and analytical. She is a daydreamer and a risk taker, she is also anxious and highly observant. When she is stressed she twirls her hair or chews her lip. She is also very empathetic.

History: Her father regretted being forced into Amity from Dauntless when her mother ended up pregnant and decided to trade excitement for peace during his choosing ceremony, while she traded her life in Candor for a life in Amity, and decided to defect to the factioness which live closer to his way of life, but not before beating his wife and child in private. He left them when Skylar turned ten years old, and her mother was so wrapped up in keeping the peace that she ignored her husband, and her daughter to keep him happy.

She was an only child and her parents were always a little disappointed in her for not fitting in. Though they loved her. Cassandra always watched the Dauntless when ever ie factions were together and from the very first time she saw them she knew that was were she belonged.

Her downfall is that she is almost to nice and to trusting, she is easily used and is easily persuaded to do things that she wouldn't want to do.

History: Ivy was born to Dauntless too a young lovely couple who where also both born to Dauntless. Ivy always had a hard time with all the fighting, but her will to stand up for her friends and others has kept her afloat. Both of her parents are very proud so they tend to turn their eyes at her kindness and do all that they can to toughen her up. The only thing that would keep Ivy stuck here in dauntless would be her friends or parents but her spirit longs to be free running threw the fields that are just on the other side of the fence.

Though she hates almost everything it stands for the idea of leaving her friends and family behind almost tear a hole in her heart and makes her stomach turn every time she thinks about it. Though if she can get up enough nerve she will most deftly pick Amity because she always felt that she belonged with them and their happiness.

History: Eve lived in Amity- and her family was perfect. Always happy and lovely, there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. But behind closed doors they were a mess. They were nothing like a normal Amity family though they seem like it. Eve didn't fit in their, and she thought she never would really fit in anywhere.

Thoughts on leaving faction or staying and why: Eve wants to move to Dauntless because she is brave, strong, flexible and stealthy, fast, and could probably not live in Amity without causing chaos- she thought their way of life was bizarre.

In the books, it's explained that ONLY the Dauntless have tattoos, unless they transfer out (not sure about the hair, though). Therefore, if your character is Amity, she can't have a tattoo. If you transfer to Dauntless, though, she could C:

Personality: Bee is courteous to others for the most part in public, but is distant when people try to become close to her. She feels she has no need for emotional ties to real people. She has a passion for coding and technology, and is widely known by her screen name "WannaBee". She is not an emotionless robot, she just prefers the company of technology rather than 'unpredictable and confusing humans". Contrary to what you would think, Bee also enjoys nature. A forest is a quiet place full of math (think the Pythagoream theorem) so why wouldn't she like it?

History: Bee was born an only child. She is going to be choosing her faction this year, and tells herself that whatever she gets, she is going to Candor to live on her own. Her parents aren't bad, but she functions better in isolation. They were always away at work, and she never put in an effort to care about them. She learned everything she knows about tech in Erudite, but she knows everything she needs now.

Thoughts on leaving faction or staying and why: Bee wants to go to Candor, because she believes that she fits in there. It is the only faction where she can honestly tell people that she doesn't want to be their friend without a question, and to get away from her parents.

Personality: Honest, talkative and loyal, Erin is your typical Candor. She prefers to talk with a loud voice and often uses words such as "dude" or "bae". Erin is quite athletic, playing numerous sports. Her favorite is hockey, but she doesn't get to play it much.
History: Erin is the youngest child in her family. The eldest, Milo, died while transferring to Dauntless. The second eldest child, Amy, had stayed in Candor. Erin has a twin brother named Colin. He's pretty much the opposite of her.

Personality: She is a shy, quiet, enthusiastic, sweet, intelligent, brave, selfless, and kind-hearted girl. She can be funny sometimes when you get to know her better and she can be protective about people who are close to her.

History: Born from Erudite, she felt like she didn't really fit in. So she decided that she should leave to find her true self, leaving many people behind but making new friends in her new home at Dauntless.

Appearance: She has dirty blond hair, a little shorter than shoulder length, sometimes in a braid or ponytail. She has dull grey eyes, that sparkle up when she's up to no good. She has pink-ish, red-ish lips. She has always wanted to dye her hair and pierce her ears, maybe get a tatoo, but her parents don't want her to. She is quite light for her age, and a little short in height too.

Personality: Ella has a mischievous personality, she is constantly told of for not being obedient. She manages to stay respectful and keep her emotions together, and never shows sadness or anger. She seems like a happy, peppy, eye sparkly girl a little on the mental side, but don't underestimate her, she runs, swims and cycles faster than all of Erudite, and beat her parents. She is also a rulebreaker, not always on purpose, but sometimes can be a little bit rough when you offend her or someone she really cares about. Just because she's a troublemaker doesn't mean she isn't smart. She could hack a firewall faster than most people.

History: She grew up, trained to be a genius when her parents discovered her IQ was above 150. She ignored them, and didn't even break a sweat to complete her homework, and instead spent her time going out cycling, running or swimming, then doing some art. When she was seven, she got a little baby brother. He was perfect to her parents, and soon they threw her aside like she was yesterday's trash. She kept her emotions under a "mask", not wanting to appear weak. When she turned twelve, she learned to keep her emotions under control, and how to play the piano from her brother, and discovered that he never meant to take the attention away from her. In fact, he felt sorry for her, and loved her with his whole heart, and from then on, they joked about him getting in to Amity secretly.

Thoughts on leaving faction or staying and why: She wants to leave. She wants to join Amity, because of the peacefulness, caringness and calmness, but feels she might feel to restricted there, so wants to go to Dauntless, because she wants to be able to break rules without becoming factionless.

Personality:Florence is very tough and strong, but words hurt her more than punches do, yet she’s very good at hiding her feelings. She’s known for having a short temper and doesn’t tolerate being taunted or pushed around. She doesn’t talk much unless approached, and even then will give short, blunt replies. Known to act on impulse, especially when angry or scared. Inherited her mother’s Christian beliefs (as her mother was raised Abnegation) but isn’t strict or touchy about it.

History: Florence’s mother died in a tragic accident when she was ten and left everything to her; her father is a deadbeat who hasn’t cared about Florence since her mother died, leaving her to fend for herself, and thus giving her the drive and want to be strong enough to take care of herself. She’s been in love twice and has had her heart broken both times; now she is very difficult to get to open up and is terrified of commitment.

History: Born in Abnegation she always knew that she didn't fit in. She was more outgoing and active then the other children that she grew up with. She preferred to run around and play to walking around and being overly polite she hoped that one day she'd get to be in Dauntless, and still does.

History: Her father was Erudite born and her mother transferred Dauntless. She always hated following her faction's rules and stayed outside after curfew. Her friends climbed the Millennium Park statue. When she was 12 she punched a kid that bullied her. She got suspended and her father locked her in her room for the two weeks she was suspended.
