One For the money, and Cinderella unmasked
2. Safari - Choose ..."
Wow, April! I see a lot of picks from my shelf, and just a couple of recommendations that you added in, with one duplicate pick. Looks like I've got quite a bit to choose from!
With it being the month of Christmas, and me still having to do a bunch of crafting, I'm not too sure how many I'll be able to get to but here's the list of what I am going to attempt from your picks.
Planning on Reading Books:
1. Christmas on Mimosa Lane-12/19/13
2. Christmas at Pebble Creek-12/3/13
3. Home to Pebble Creek-12/14/13
4. Claimed-12/6/13
5. No Place for a Dame substituting Promise Me Heaven-12/24/13
6. The Perfect Play-12/11/13
7. The Naughty List-12/5/13
8. One Night with a Cowboy-12/18/13
Will attempt to get to in December:
1. One for the Money-12/6/13
2. Cinderella Unmasked
3. Strange Neighbors
4. Sugar Rush-12/25/13
5. Tiger Eye
6. Always the Baker, Never the Bride
7. Ruby
All of these are on top of my reads for the Meet and Greet challenge, so I will definitely keep busy this month!
Edited to add: Thanks to Amazon having All Through the Night on sale today (12/3/13), I found out that No Place for a Dame is the continuation of a small trilogy that the author started a while ago. Since I hate jumping into the middle of a series, I'm substituting the first book Promise Me Heaven for No Place for a Dame.

I hope you like them!
1. Amusement Park/Disneyworld- Choose a fairy tale retelling or a book with humor in it.
The Lion's Lady - Heroine is very cute!
Just the Sexiest Man AliveWallbanger
2. Safari - Choose a book with an animal on the cover or in the story. Maybe a shifter romance?
Water for Elephants
Pride Mates
3. Gambling/Vegas - Choose a book where an MC takes a chance on love and/or tries to win the girl's/guy's heart.
Rock Chick
On Dublin Street
4. Staycation - Choose a shorter book and/or a story centered around a family or group of friends hanging out together.
The Villa
Slammed
5. Beach/Tropical Island - Choose a book with a HOT cover and/or a steamy story.
Lover Unleashed
Tempt Me Tonight
6. Dude Ranch - Choose a Western/Cowboy romance or a book with several 'dudes'.
Comanche Moon - A great one!
My Sunshine
Logan
7. NYC for the ball drop - Choose a Holiday romance or a new to them author for your pickee.
Watchers - I have read this one about 10 times. They do celebrate Christmas at some point.
The You I Never Knew - A favorite contemporary
The Marriage Bargain
8. Honeymoon - Choose a romance book with a sweet, innocent, virginal character. Or the first book in a series you think your pickee would love.
The Secret - A favorite historical
On the Island - I was iffy about reading this one, but I loved it!

1. Amusement Park/Disneyworld- Choose a fairy tale retelling or a book with humor in it.
Beauty by Robin McKinley (From your To Read shelf) or Rapunzel by Selena Kitt (One I haven't re-read for review purposes, but I remember it being good! I see that you've read a couple of the other Modern Wicked Fairy Tales, so I hope you like it!)
2. Safari - Choose a book with an animal on the cover or in the story. Maybe a shifter romance?
Bear Meets Girl by Shelly Laurenston (From your To Read Shelf) or Without Reservations by J. L. Langley (I've read some of her other books, she's a decent author. This is a M/M shifter romance that sounds good!)
3. Gambling/Vegas - Choose a book where an MC takes a chance on love and/or tries to win the girl's/guy's heart.
Reaching for the Stars by Janice Horton (From your To Read Shelf) or First Date by Krista McGee (This is a Christian YA romance, but totally fits the theme of taking chances!)
4. Staycation - Choose a shorter book and/or a story centered around a family or group of friends hanging out together.
Bodywork by Marie Harte (From your To Read shelf and was pretty good!) or Charmed Spirits by Carrie Ann Ryan (I really enjoyed this book, even though it is the Halloween installment of this series centered around 5 brothers, I think it is worth reading!)
5. Beach/Tropical Island - Choose a book with a HOT cover and/or a steamy story.
Alien Mate by Eve Langlais (from your To Read shelf-very steamy!) or Entwined: Jane in the Jungle by Colette Gale (steamy jungle read and has beach scenes!)
6. Dude Ranch - Choose a Western/Cowboy romance or a book with several 'dudes'.
Taken by the Cowboy by Julianne MacLean (from your To Read shelf) or Roped by Ann Jacobs (I'm not a big fan of western/cowboy romances, but I really enjoyed this one! It is a shorter erotic read, though!)
7. NYC for the ball drop - Choose a Holiday romance or a new to them author for your pickee.
I'm going to punk out a bit here and not pick something from your To Read shelf and just recommend a book for you in this catagory. I highly enjoyed Kissing Under the Mistletoe by Marina Adair. It was a cute, funny Christmas read and I've re-read it at least once now. I have a Kindle copy of it and would be happy to loan it to you if you have the ability to read Kindle books.
8. Honeymoon - Choose a romance book with a sweet, innocent, virginal character. Or the first book in a series you think your pickee would love.
The Governess Affair by Courtney Milan (From your To Read shelf) or The Summer of Cotton Candy by Debbie Viguié (The romance plays out over the four books of the series, and it's Christian YA romance, but I really enjoyed reading all these books! They were just great!)

Glad you liked them! Let me know if you want to borrow it from me on the Kindle, I still have my loan for it!

Thank you for the picks Brandilyn! I want to read lots of them, but I know for sure I am going to read Holiday Games!

1. Amusement Park: Modern Wicked Fairy Tales: The Complete Collection I think they're also sold separately if you want a short read.
2. Safari: Tempting the Beast
3. Vegas: North and South
4. Staycation: Tattered Love
5.Beach: Alien, Mine
6. Dude Ranch: Six
7. NYC Ball Drop: Christmas is Cancelled
8. Honeymoon (I get tired of the cliched virgin heroine, here's one where the hero is the virgin): All of You
Hope something from this list strikes your fancy.

Shelby, Runell missed the sign ups too. So how about you two pick for each other?
I will PM Runell and let her know :)

Oh and Runell I would love it if you would consider using my GB picked shelf first, but you are by no means restricted to it.

Here are your picks. Hope that you find something that you like. If not, let me know and I can re-pick.
1. Amusement Park/Disneyworld- I really liked The Duke Is Mine (Fairy Tales #3)
..."
Carla, these look great! I know I will get at least 2 of these in. Thanks!

1. Amusement Park: Modern Wicked Fairy Tales: The Complete Collection I think they're also sold separately if you want a short read.
2. Safari: [book:Tempting the Beast|5..."
Thanks for the picks!
Definitely Tempting the Beast and probably Six, cuz that just looks hawt.

These are my picks for you. I hope that you enjoy them and please let me know if you would like any repicks.
1. Amusement Park/Disneyworld-
The Raven Prince by Elizabeth Hoyt(TBR)- This book is not an exact fairy tale retelling but it does have beauty and the beast elements.

Playing for Keeps by R.L. Mathewson(TBR)- Because I recommend two new books in the Dude Ranch category I figured I would recommend two TBR ones in this category. Playing for Keeps is hilarious.

2. Safari -
Fair Game Briggs, Patricia (TBR)- I love this series.

Bear Necessities by Dana Marie Bell(NEW)

3. Gambling/Vegas -
The Girl Who Chased the Moon by Allen, Sarah Addison (TBR)- This is my second favorite Addison book (Garden Spells is the first which I noticed you enjoyed).

Going Too Far by Echols, Jennifer(NEW)

4. Staycation -
Saving Grace by Julie Garwood (TBR)- So this book is a bit of a stretch as far the theme goes... But it is a great book.

The Last Song by Nicholas Sparks (NEW)

5. Beach/Tropical Island -
The Warlord Wants Forever by Cole, Kresley(TBR)- This book is not my favorite in the series but I suggest that you do read it in order because it just gets better and better.

The Wolf Within by Eden, Cynthia(NEW)

6. Dude Ranch -
Prince Charming by Julie Garwood(NEW)- I struggled with this category because I am not really a Western/Cowboy fan. However if I had to pick an exception to the rule it would be this book.

Montana Sky by Nora Roberts(NEW)- Buddy Read?

7. NYC for the ball drop -
Anna and the French Kiss by Perkins, Stephanie(TBR)- This book is not centered on a holiday however the characters do spend holidays together and grow closer during them.

Compromising Positions by Bayley-Burke, Jenna(NEW)

8. Honeymoon -
Lord of Scoundrels by Chase, Loretta(TBR)- I am a sucker for rakes...

Law Man by Kristen Ashley(NEW)- This is a my all time favorite Kristen Ashley book.

1. Amusement Park/Disneyworld
(TBR) When Beauty Tamed the Beast - seriously, anything with Beauty and the Beast is practically a go-to read for me.
(NEW) Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow - another great retelling of the Beauty/Beast fairytale
2. Safari
(TBR) Frost Burned - Adam. Adam. Adam.
(TBR) On the Prowl - it's super short, so I figured I'll give you an extra TBR pick for this category. But definitely read this before starting the series with Cry Wolf.
(NEW) Hounded - this is straight urban fantasy, no romance - but it's really really good for fans of Mercy Thompson/Kate Daniels/Harry Dresden. It's worth the read just for the Oberon the Irish wolfhound alone (and the narrator's version of Oberon in the audiobook is to-die-for funny)
3. Gambling/Vegas
(TBR) At Last - I think every resident of Lucky Harbor is required to take a chance on love upon moving there...
(NEW) Shine Not Burn - half set in Vegas! fun read.
4. Staycation
(TBR) Fourth Grave Beneath My Feet - Read. Now. Reyes~~~
(NEW) Mackenzie's Mountain - one of the MacKenzie families that I heart.
5. Beach/Tropical Island
(TBR) Archangel's Legion - if you look at my GR profile, you can see that Nalini's Raphael is one of my obsessions. That was written years ago. I stand by this statement still.
(NEW) Real - MMA is another obsession of mine. A great find for me this year.
6. Dude Ranch
(TBR) Bridleton - this looks to be the only western you have on your TBR
(NEW) Duncan's Bride - ahhh the mail-order bride trope. love it!
7. NYC for the ball drop
(TBR) A Mackenzie Family Christmas: The Perfect Gift - the other Mackenzie family that I love to pieces.
(NEW) Losing It - so new adult seems to be a rare read for you, but this was a gem!
8. Honeymoon
(TBR) The Warlord Wants Forever - The IAD series rox my sox. This one wasn't the strongest of the bunch, but they do get progressively better. If you're a fan of audiobooks, I HIGHLY recommend listening to this. The narrator does a fantastic job with the myriad of accents required in the IAD world. And he's so yummy growly when he needs to be....
(NEW) Fairest of Them All - yearly reread for me!

I enjoyed looking at your books. We have similar tastes, so I hope that I’ve picked a few that you will enjoy! I tried to pick at least 2 selections for each category.

2. Safari: Chase the Storm: Beautiful story with cowboys and horses, what's not to love? [New to You]

I'm in sign-up list but not in the picking list :("
Hi Skandia,
When I went to edit the list just now, I saw you there, but I forgot to put the code at the end of your link so it didn't show up. Sorry about that!
I didn't see the link and had already asked KarenH to pick for you.
So, you are in the B/C group under KarenH. You will be picking for Amy J.
Sorry for the confusion!

I'm in sign-up list but not in the picking list :("
Hi Skandia,
When I went to edit the list just now, I saw you there, but I forgot ..."
Yay! Thanks Fran!

So my picks for you.
1. Amusement Park/Disney World
The Student Prince (new) - Ok so Arthur and Merlin may not be quite a fairy tale, but it's still an awesome retelling/twisting of this story. Plus it's got some great humor. :)
My Roommate's a Jock? Well, Crap! (TBR) - Ok so I haven't read this, but the title made me giggle, and there's humor listed in the genres so I figure it qualifies. Plus I added it to my TBR. ;)

2. Safari
Inheritance (new) - Didn't see a lot of shifter stuff on your shelf, but I liked this book a lot.
Tiger's Curse (TBR) - I absolutely adored this book!

3. Gambling/Vegas
The Party Boy's Guide to Dating a Geek (new) - Oh, there was a lot of "try" that went into winning this boy's heart.
Question Mark (TBR) - I say trusting a celebrity after a bad breakup counts. :)

4. Staycation
#First Impressions #Second Chances (new) - Just read this one and thought it was just adorable. Nice short free read from LHNB.
Cards On The Table (TBR) - I figure under 100pgs qualifies as shorter so here's one off your GB list. :)

5. Beach/Tropical Island
Rough Draft (new) - Really interesting format for this book, and if you've read anything by Chris Owen before you know the sex is going to be burn your eyes HOT!
An Unlocked Heart (TBR) - I say HOT!

6. Dude Ranch
No Going Home (new) - I don't know why I always come back to this book, but I do. I really enjoy it.
Texas Heat (TBR) - There's a cowboy hat on the cover I'm going to assume cowboys are involved. :D

7. NYC for the Ball Drop
Fantasy Lover (new) - So I don't see a lot of paranormal on your shelves, but it didn't look like you'd read anything by Sherrilyn Kenyon and I love her books. While this isn't my favorite or really even the first book in the series, more of a companion novel, it's a really good introduction to the world and gives good back story. I still feel like it should be read first.
Widdershins (TBR) - Such a good book and since it's the author's first book I'm going to go with new to you too. :)

8. Honeymoon
Learning to Feel (new) - Since I start my review with "so sweet it could give you a toothache" I think this one counts.
A Marked Man (TBR) - First book in one of my all time favorite series' and another GB book for you.

Hope you find somethings in here that appeal to you!

1. Amusement Park/Disneyworld: The easy pick here, and one that is new to you is A Kiss at Midnight by Eloisa James. It is a retelling of Cinderella and I thought it was really good! Another new book for you, by an author you appear to enjoy is Breathing Room by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I loved this book!
2. Safari: These picks were a no brainer! Both from your shelves but really good series, A Hunger Like No Other by Kresley Cole and Blaze of Memory by Nalini Singh.
3. Gambling/Vegas: One new and one from your shelves for this one. The new one first, 10 Ways To Steal Your Lover by Dee Tenorio. I thought this was a lot of fun - and hot! Don't let the title fool you, there is no cheating. From your TBR, Shades of Gray by Maya Banks. Super emotional and just amazing - I loved it even though wasn't an easy read. I liked the characters too much to see them go through everything in this book, but their HEA was sooo worth it!
4. Staycation: A new short one for you - Until Fountain Bridge by Samantha Young. You liked On Dublin Street, you know you want to know want to read Ellie and Adam's story too! Another short one from your TBR, The Christmas Catch by Ginny Baird.
5. Beach/Tropical Island: Hot cover? Jaci Burton has 'em!

6. Dude Ranch: No way this category could come up without me suggesting a Lorelei James' Rough Rider book! You've read the first and have Rode Hard, Put Up Wet is next for you. Not one of my favorites, you could actually skip ahead to Cowgirl Up and Ride if it sounds better to you. And now for one with lots of dudes - The Locker Room by Amy Lane. A M/M sports romance has to have lots of men in it right?! I loved that one!
7. NYC for the ball drop: A couple of holiday romances for you! From your shelves, Sweet Inspiration by Penny Watson. For something new, maybe you want to give Lisa Kleypas' contemporary books a try? You seem to really like her historicals. The first book in her Friday Harbor series is Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor.
8. Honeymoon: I don't think you can find anyone more sweet and innocent than Win in Seduce Me at Sunrise by Lisa Kleypas. A new series for you from an author you seem to really like - Covet by J. R. Ward. While I don't think it is as good as her BDB books, I have been enjoying this series and will be reading the latest in December.
Happy Reading!!

1. Amusement Park/Disneyland: Dragon Actually by G.A. Aiken or Beauty by Robin McKinley
2. Safari: Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison and The Mane Event by Shelly Laurenston

6. Dude Ranch: Mackenzie's Mountain by Linda Howard or Taken by the Cowboy by Julianne MacLean
7. NYC for the Ball Drop: Simply Irresistible by Jill Shalvis or All I Want For Christmas by Nora Roberts or Turkey in the Snow by Amy Lane

1. Amusement Park/Disney World:
Seduction and Snacks had me laughing like a loon, but I think the humor is a love it or leave it kind a thing.
How to Flirt with a Naked Werewolf is a funny start to a great series.
2. Safari:
Magic Bites, I love this series because it just gets better with each installment. Plus, Curran is just yummy.
Remember Me is set on a Virginia horse farm and is the start of another very good series (trilogy).

Bet Me, a great contemporary romance. I may do a re-read, it's been a while.
4. Staycation:
Secrets of a Summer Night, I loved this series by Lisa Kleypas. It centers around a group of wallflower friends.
Hearts in Darkness, I'm not usually a big fan of novellas, I always feel shortchanged, but this was a great one.
5. Beach/Tropical Island:
The Reluctant Dom Steamy, yes but you'll need lots of tissues as well.
Seven Years to Sin, I love when historical meets erotic romance and it's done well.
6. Dude Ranch:
Dark Lover, The Black Dagger Brotherhood are a bunch of 'dudes'; hot, sexy, dangerous, yummy dudes.
Under the Desert Moon, This was a surprise for me. A very intelligent western romance.
7. NYC For The Ball Drop:
Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake I loved this book along with author, Sarah MacLean.
Neanderthal Seeks Human: A Smart Romance was recommended to me a few months ago and was another surprise. A fun, sexy read.
8. Honeymoon:
Outlander might just be my all time favorite read. You'll enjoy it more if you go in knowing it's more of an historical novel rather than a romance.
Warprize was another surprise read that I fell in love with. It's the first of a true trilogy so be prepared to read numbers two and three.

I'm half asleep so I hope this list has been somewhat coherent.
HAPPY READING!!!

1. Amusement Park/Disneyworld a book with humor in it.

We don't read many of the same books, so I tried to look for some books in the genres that you read and give you a few new choices in that area and a few new ones from some of my favorites as well. I hope you find something that you like.
1. Something About You - This book was very funny and I loved it.
Wallbanger - I was going to read this one next month. Are you interested in a buddy read?
2. Moon Called - I read this one recently and loved it. There are shifters in this book.
Alterant - This is a great book and as magic, shifters and a few surprises.
3. Let Me Be the One - From your TBR and sounded interesting.
The Game of Love - I found this one based on a few other books that you liked. I have not read it, but it sounds like a "take a chance on love" kind of book.
4. Blood Signs - a shorter book from your TBR
The 5th Wave - Without giving away too much about this book, there is a lot in the book that centers around families. This is not a romance, but more of a suspense. If you like audiobooks, this was a great audiobook that I listened to.
5. Wild for You - Definitely sounded steamy. This was another one that I found based on a few other books that you read/liked.
Consequences
6. Corralled - This is new to you and is M/F/M. It is also a western.
Hell on Wheels - Sounds like a bunch of gun-toting men, which is always good for a book.
Cut & Run - I have not read this one, but have heard good things about it. It is a M/M romance, and it looked like you had a few on your shelves.
7. Bouquet Toss - Another one that I found based on the books that you liked. This is a new author for you.
Daughter of Smoke & Bone - This was a great book that I think I need to get to the second one. A new to you author.
8. Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake - This is the first in the series as well as a virginal character. I laughed my butt off while reading this book. I think you'll love it.
Ten Days of Perfect - Another one that sounded interesting, but I have not read. It is the first in the series as well.
I hope you find something that you like in here.
