For the five sexy rock gods of Sole Regret, finding love is easy, keeping it is hard.

Melanie has no desire to meet the members of the rock band, Sole Regret, but her groupie of a best friend gets them both backstage and then rushes off with the band’s lead singer. Left alone at an after party with a bunch of scary tattooed and pierced metal-heads, sheltered Melanie is relieved when the only normal-looking guy in the room insists on keeping her company.

By the time Melanie discovers that Gabe is the band’s drummer and not as normal as she assumed, she has already made a complete fool of herself. She can’t help but be interested in him, not as a rock star, but as the sexiest man she’s ever encountered. Strangely attracted to his hidden tattoos and body piercing, she wonders what it would be like to spend a night with a bad boy.

Gabe is more than willing to show sweet Melanie there’s more to him than meets the eye. All she has to do is try him. Will they only share a single night of passion? Or will their hearts entangle as quickly as their bodies?

Contains explicit sex, graphic language, and a hot rock star with a naughty and inventive mind.

4.5 stars. I LOVED the steam factor (HOT!!!!) but I especially LOVED the H/h. Try Me was great steamy erotica novella with a rock-star and a good girl.

The Story
Melanie doesn't get the appeal of rock-stars, tattoos, piercings, and all that 'freakish' behavior, but her BFF Nikki is obsessed with it. So when her friend drags her back stage at a Sole Regret concert, only to abandon her when she hooks up with the lead singer, Melanie tries to quietly sit and wait for her friend to return. But when she befriends a 'normal' guy who at first-glance appears to be sans all that freakish shit, she finds herself pleasantly attracted to him.

Gabe is Sole Regrets drummer, aka 'Force'. He is enchanted by the beauty he just met as she doesn't even recognize him! So when he reveals a mohawk with head tats beneath his hat, and tats and piercings beneath his clothes, Melanie may just change her mind about freakish men.

My Thoughts
Wow, Gabe and Melanie are my kind of H/h in a romance. For such a short novella, I was surprised how deeply I liked and connected with them. I enjoyed their honesty with each other, loved seeing who they are beneath the personas, and thought their sex scenes were smokin' hot. (BTW, this an m/f erotica, no ménage)

I don't read a lot of erotica, but I really like how this author incorporates hot sex with a solid, likable story and interesting characters. For a novella length story, this was an impressive bit of erotica.

I have no idea if this is going to be a new series, but I would love to read more about the band members and see what Gabe and Melanie were able to make of their budding relationship.

I had a lovely review for you all. Then THIS happened when I hit preview.

Okay, so there's no way to prove that my review was actually lovely, but I'm going to say that it was because you can't prove otherwise.

There's NO way in hell I'm typing it out again. Sorry. Let's see if I can summarize in a couple of paragraphs what took me about 45 minutes to write. Sigh. At least you get to see the miracle of a short review from me...

3.5 stars.

~ This is erotica, not contemporary romance. Expect just as much sex as there is plot. However, this is a good intro to Olivia Cunning. If you haven't read Backstage Pass, try this one first. You'll get a handle on this author's writing style in much less time and it's slightly less intimidating (read : less anal play/voyeurism) than BP is for hesitant erotica readers.

~ Character development is limited because there isn't time. This really is more of a sex, sex, sex type of story. The characters meet, find they're attracted to each other, then engage in kinky sex. Again, this is a short. I don't mind when the focus is more on sex if I'm reading something that is meant to be read in about an hour.

~ The sex was hot. The characters were likable. The ending was pleasant. All in all, this is the best type of brain reset after reading something heavy.

~ I love rock star stories. Whether it's YA, adult, or erotic in nature. I don't care. I just like being immersed in that fantasy without actually having to live it.

~ There were a few funny moments. Here's just one of them :
"What kind of a dork uses a lame stage name anyway? And why Shade? Because he wears sunglasses all the time?"
"Yeah, he has to wear them. He has vision problems."
Melanie's stomach dropped and she covered her big, blabbering mouth with one hand. "He does? Shit. Now I feel bad."
The guy chuckled. "I'm just fucking with you. He wears them because he enjoys looking like a douche twenty-four-seven."

I'm done with my crappy, lame, condensed review. I'm going to copy this before posting, so I don't have to do this again with nothing but swear words and exclamation points.

What else can i say except; hot, sweaty, smexing with a rock god drummer who also happens to have a brain and invents sex toys for women? CHECK, CHECK, CHECK!!!! Wait... did i mention the tattoos?? PHWOAR!!!

I freakin' LOVED this little story and while i'm not the biggest fan of HFN (Happy For Now) endings, i'm glad that Ms Cunning is going to revisit Force in the sixth book of this series!!

WOW! Olivia Cunning does it again for me and it's hard to believe that she can make a short story grab me this hard. I absolutely LOVE IT! This book brought back my teenage fantasy about meeting band members, LOL and there is not a thing wrong with that.

Both the hero Gabriel, AKA Force and the heroine Melanie were really great characters. I love how they met and the awesome chemistry they shared. OMG, the sex/love scenes were FANTASTIC! Very imaginative and like none other that I have ever read.

The other members of Sole's Regret were also very interesting characters and you know I'll be grabbing all the book's in this series too as they are released.

Olivia Cunning's, if you reading this, I LOVE YOU, hahahahahaha, You totally ROCK! Write them and I'll be buying :-)

Just meh.
A lot of boring sex and not much of a story.
He's taller then her, over 6ft, but when he hugged her naked, his nipple piercing rubbed her nipple, while his cock poked at her stomach. Where are her tits? On her neck?
This book was just... What ever.

My number 20 better be a lucky number, Alex ;-P.

I'm off to read it.

3 Stars - steaming hot little shorty about a drummer and a beautiful accountant - perhaps for life?

An erotic short story of 85 pages, which is quite okay for a short while with a rock band full of good-looking, tattooed, horny guys, girls for the night and a little naughtiness and heat after the gig.

I may be hard to just give this little cute story 3 stars!? - Because I was entertained and I smiled a few times when I read about this drummer and his ambition to make it really good for the woman he got up to his hotel room. But quickly caught quickly past ...
“My goal is to make you scream my name. Give me what I want, but make me work for it.”

Gabe "Force" Banner is the drummer in Sole Regret. Melanie is a nice accountant who either like rock concerts, rock guys or men with tattoos. Her best friend Nikki persuades an evening Melanie to join her backstage after Sole Regret's gig. Like a good friend, she feels compelled to help Nikki get into a hot night with the band's lead singer, Shade.

Melanie ends up on a couch and starts talking to the nice guy with the cap. What she doesn't know is that he is both tattooed and a rock star.

“Force equals mass times acceleration,” he said.

 photo image_zpsea1d5146.jpg

Hot with some (kinky) sex, cute and barely credible, but with a possible HEA. I guess I have, after all, to continue my reading pretty soon, with the next band member's adventure to catch a woman for more than one steamy night.

... and if you're wondering; he turns out to live up to its name "Force" - in a nice way for a needy girl, haha!

I Like - just right for a short while quite entertaining reading.

”And the man knew how to rock a mattress.”

Try Me by Olivia Cunning opens up a whole new rock & roll series with hot guys, sex, love, and oolala “how-many-times-can-he-make-her-come” fun!

In this story, readers are introduced to the whole sexy as hell band—Sole Regret—but the action focuses on the drummer, Gabe or a.k.a Force. Once again, I find myself swooning and falling prey to a green eyed hottie! :)

Gabe’s desire and focus falls on Melanie, who appears to be an uptight accountant, dragged to the show by her best friend. But once these two meet and heat up, they bring all sorts of naughty fun, geeky secrets, and interesting things out of each other and into the bedroom. *waggles eyebrows* Very hot! Are Gabe and Melanie destined for just one night of passion or should they try for more?

This “one night” tale was a very quick read, but Gabe still managed to steal my heart with this line:

*sigh* His words just hit my heart with a bit of sadness and heat.

Try Me was pure sexy fun and one I would definitely recommend for fans of Cunning’s Sinners on Tour series.

Looking forward to hearing more from this sexy band of guys!

Hella sexy hot!!! That's what this little novella was. I picked this up as a freebie from Amazon and got a hot story. This is about Melanie meeting Gabe backstage after a "Sole Regret" concert while her friend Nikki goes off to hopefully score and sleep with the lead singer Shade. Melanie admits to Gabe that she doesn't care for the band that much only to find out later that Gabe is the drummer of the band. By this point they have already gotten to know each other and have formed an instant attraction. Quoting from the book, "Gabriel Banner was perfect: tattoos, piercing, mohawk and all." Enough said.

I loved this book. I have absolutely no complaints, it was perfect.

Olivia Cunning as created another band that I can't wait to read about and get to know better.

Gabe is a perfect combination of sweet and bad boy. Melanie was interesting with her tattoo phobia. She was also a good friend for going on a last minute road trip to see a band she's not even a fan of. I loved them together as a couple. I can't wait to see more of them in future books.

I'm extremely intrigued by this new series and I can't wait to read about the other band members!

Well, Hello, grab a drink and let's chat about this book, shall we?

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

If you're looking for a short (no pun intended), fun and OH SO HOT book, this one is for you!
Hell, you'll be left craving for more and go running off to read the next one in the series (yep, i did that).

So back with the story, Sole Regret is the name of a rock band.

And and there we have the 5 sexy rock gods, Owen aka Tags, Kelly aka Cuffs, Gabe aka Force, Adam and the main vocalist Jacob aka Shade.
They don't have any problem to find women, actually, women tend to trow themselves at them. It seems that they can't keep any relationship.

Melanie and her best friend Nikki go to a Sole Regret concert.
Although Melanie actually likes the music, she goes there because Nikki wants to get in Shade's pants.
So determined that she got them both backstage.
The thing is, Melanie is actually scared of tattooed and pierced guys! Let's just say that she isn't in the right place.

Now ,let me just put here the pick up line from Nikki to Shade.

" Is there a place where I can lie down for a bit? she asked." With you on top of me?" Melanie blinked and turned her head to mouth,Wow. "

Wow, indeed!

Melanie doesn't know the members of the band that well,so when she is left alone with the only normal-looking guy in the room, she feels relieved. But, yes, he is actually the drummer, and not has normal as she thought, he just keeps his tattoos hidden *swoon
When she does discovered that it's too late, she is already attracted to him and even more, when she sees his tattoos and piercings. It doesn't scare at all, it does turn her on like hell.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Now will they have only this night together or it can so much more?

Gosh, this book was fun to read, it did had moments that i laughed so hard...

"Whatever it was, he was hooked. He never questioned his little head's instincts. His dick had excellent taste"

Oh and this one too...

" She'd known a few cock teases in her life, but she'd never met a pussy tease before."

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

So i really liked Melanie and Gabe. Although it was short, the characters were well developed, and the chemistry through the roof.

Oh did i mentioned this is sizzling HOT??
After i read it, i so needed a bucket full of ice.

Melanie's friend drags her to another concert by the group, Sole Regret, in the hopes that she can bed one of the band members, Shade. At the after party, Shade and her friend, Nikki, want Melanie to join them in a threesome but she blows Shade off. That really catches another of the band members attention.

The main problems with all shorts is that, well, they are too short and this is no exception. This series seems like it will be very similar to her other series, Sinners on Tour, which has a lot of sex but there is at least enough story to carry it. OC definitely has the sex down but it could've used a bit more story.

Both Melanie and Gabe are likeable and make a good pairing. At heart, they are really the same, Gabe has just embraced his wild side. Melanie makes a good effort to make up for things but Gabe's "inventions" seemed almost too much.

The ending does leave you hanging. I'm hoping that will be addressed in the next book, Take Me.

**ETA: actually the next book will be Tempt Me.

Finally had a chance to finish this! I really liked it more than I thought I would. Yes, it was short, but it was HOT and a little kinky! Still wiping the steam off my glasses!

It was a simple story of two girls fan-girling over a band and getting access. Melanie was a reluctant participant. She had fears of tattooed and pierce men from scary teenage experience, and wanted nothing to do with a band full of them. She lowers her guard when a beautiful man that seems quite normal to her: baseball cap, jeans and t-shirt, and gets sucked in.

This story took place over probably 24-32 hours tops, so it was a short read detailing the night and next days events. I was expecting to be disappointed by an abrupt end but when I got there, it just felt right. Would I like to see how things play out in the future for these two? Sure, but it's okay if I don't because it left on a high and hopeful note.

Excellent pick for Smut Monday ladies!

Maybe I should have dated an inventor...

This book is everything I have come to expect from Olivia Cunning. My ONLY complaint is the length. I would have loved to get to know Gabe "Force" Banner and Melanie, and explore their relationship.
Try Me has everything including delicious rock stars. It's sexy, funny, and addicting.

Hot rock stars? Check. Tats? Check. Sexy piercings? Check. A panty-melting smile? Check. We fell in love with Ms. Cunning Sinners on Tour and we finally have a new book by her again. But oh the tease! Yes, this is a short story. And this is a completely different band. But do you see me complaining? Well, maybe just the fact that I wanted more, more, more!

Gabe, aka Force, is the drummer of Sole Regret. And sometimes he is just too tired to deal with the groupies they have hanging around after a concert. But one girl catches his eye. And she looks nothing like a groupie, especially when she says no to lead singer Shade.

Melanie had pretty much been dragged there by her friend Nikki, who is a groupie and who just wants to nail Shade. Tats and piercings scare her, she never though she would go for a guy like these rockstars until she stumbles across Gabe. And then holy hell sparks starts going off like Fourth of July between them.

This is the perfect little read to heat up a summer afternoon ;) Be sure to check this one out and be like me... on the lookout for the next Sole Regret fix!

Fave Quotes:

"He never questioned his little head's instincts. His dick has excellent taste."

"She'd known a few cock teases in her life, but she'd never met a pussy tease before."

"He dove under the covers, delighting in the sound of her laugh as he cupped her breasts in both hands and kissed her flat belly."

If there is one thing I can count on from Olivia Cunning it's lots of hot, dirty, rock star sex! She definitely does not disappoint!

We are introduced to the band, Sole Regret, in this book. They are tattooed, pierced, and deliciously wicked-everything that Melanie is against! But, her best friend is on a mission to meet the lead singer, so she finds herself backstage with people she considers freaks. She eventually finds one "normal looking" guy to talk to.......but, just how "normal" is he?

I read this in one sitting, and soooo wished it was longer. Like the title suggests, it truly is about one night with Sole Regret, but I needed at least a week with them! ;) There is no doubt that I will read the next installment of this series about these bad boy rockers from Texas (be still my heart!).

When I hear one of my favorite erotica author, Olivia Cunning just write a new story featuring rock star, I'm so happy! While anxiously waiting for Sinners's new book (Trey!!), I decide to read Try Me, the first novella that tell about rock band Sole Regret. You can't go wrong with Olivia Cunning. since she always deliver the best erotic story feature rock stars.

Melanie Anderson or Mel, is afraid to see tattoed people. Well, I admit,me too. But, she pierced herself. Hehehe, such a naughty girl. One night she attend Sole Regret's concert with her bimbo's friend Nikki that I loathe so much, since she's well.... bimbo :/ . Nikki want to go to Sole Regret's backstage and having sex with Shade, the vocalist. After a humiliating moment include kissing and groping each other (much like Nikki to Mel), they success, and that when Mel met Gabriel Banner.

Gabriel or Gabe maybe look like normal guy for Mel. And imagine how embarassing for Mel, when she know Gabe is Force, the band's drummer. And of course he has tattoes. And piercing. And Mohawk hair. Now, I will cringe when see guy like that. But this is Olivia Cunning we talk about, folks! She can write a charming rock stars that make you melt, no exceptation for Gabe. Deep inside, he's a geek. And sweet. And care to Mel. Impressive and inovative in bed. You got the picture ;).

So, Mel and Gabe have a one night. A very hot and scorching one night. We know Gabe is naughty. And kinky. But who know he can make a device or sex toys that make Mel hoarse from screaming. And experience many orgasm that maybe just happen in dream. My mind (and ovaries) scream "I want Gabe! I want the device! Hell, I want the WHOLE package!!". Of course, this one just fiction. But if Olivia know the toys exist, please call me (just kidding).

I just hope this one is longer. Well, duh, I know the series title is One Night with Sole Regret, but I want more from Gabe and Melanie. More than just one night. I want more interaction between Gabe and the other Sole Regret member, like Shade or Jacob, Kelly, Owen and Adam. I find myself don't want to end this and almost weep when I read "The End". Please Olivia Cunning, make the full-length novel of this, not just novella!! :(

I discovered Olivia Cunning before I started blogging, so this is my first official review for one of her books. I'm so excited! Olivia is my favorite Erotic Author. She always comes up with the sexiest guys and most inventive and original "ideas". She actually writes a story too. It's not all sex. Her characters have substance. And what could be better than reading about sex? ROCK STAR SEX! This is definitely OC's specialty. Ok, I'm done with my fangirl spiel...on to the story!

Since this book is a novella, it's short, so the story needed to get going pretty fast. Well, I wasn't disappointed. As I expected, I fell in love with Gabe. Gabe is the drummer of Sole Regret, who is covered in tattoos, but he's also a brainiac. He has an "inventive" mind and is a total sweetheart. Not to mention that he is sexy as sin. I'm very curious to learn more about his character and his background.

I also really liked Melanie. She's the friend that sticks by you, even when you make stupid mistakes. She's a bit naive and unfamiliar with the world of rock and I loved that she didn't know who Gabe was when they first met. It made their relationship feel more genuine. I truly can't wait to see how their relationship develops. I really hope they can make it work.

On to the sex. Ok, seriously...Olivia Cunning is the master of writing mind blowing sex scenes. Just when I think nothing could surprise me anymore, she does it. Of course all of the sex in this book is hot, but there is a particular part near the end that made me melt into the couch. I could hardly catch my breath. Serious stimulation overload, people. I mean that in the most heavenly way. I really wish I could tell you all about it, but it's just something you need to read on your own. Preferably with "help" near by. It was jelly bones, stick your head in the freezer, ice down your shirt, and panty changing fantastic.

If you haven't read anything by Olivia Cunning, I insist that you check her out. I fell in LOVE with the Sinners on Tour Series and am waiting impatiently for book 3 in that series to release in November. In the meantime, I'm hoping to get to know more about the hot guys of Sole Regret!

Melanie's not a groupie. She's not into bad boys and she couldn't even list the names of the members in the band her friend dragged her to see tonight. Mel's only there to make sure her bestie doesn't get into too much trouble. Her obliviousness and general aversion to rockers makes her and Gabe's first meeting pretty interesting.

This was my first rock star romance, and I dug it. Be advised it is short though; it's part of a serial format where the author writes revolving novellas featuring a group of couples whose stories are intertwined. Turns out this is my favorite way to imbibe contemporary romance--in short, sexy portions. Melanie and Gabe are sweet together and their bedroom action is smokin'. But I had to roll my eyes when things got... "inventive".

All in all, I liked it quite a bit and will see what else Ms. Cunning has to offer.

I didn't know when I started this that it was so short, so I was really surprised when I hit the end of the story so soon!! I think it's only fair to judge shorts differently than a full-length story, because they are clearly written very differently and have varying degrees of difficulty. Basing this review on the challenges that come with making a short story have a believable romance with interesting characters and some semblance of plot to hold the story together, I think Try Me deserves 4-4.5 stars. It's not perfect, but it was one of the best short story romances that I've come across.

Melanie was a great lead; for a fairly sheltered woman with a lackluster job and social life, she was still feisty and likable as a character. I loved how she meets Gabe, it was downright hysterical how she just went off on the band and guys 'like them', all the while not realizing that the sexy hottie she was flirting with was actually the tattooed, pierced, buzz-cut wearing drummer. Cunning managed to make Melanie's prejudice and aloof attitude come across as amusingly naive instead of bitchy and rude, so the whole situation had me LOL. And Gabe, OH MY!!! This guy just oozed sex appeal, and when he started making his intentions clear for Melanie, I was fanning myself just from the anticipation!! I don't know how Cunning managed to make his character both adorably cute (love his geeky side!!) and dreamily alluring at the same time, but she did it and then some!! His nerdy past mixed just right with his masculine, sex-driven present just right, and it's hard to say which part of his personality was the most endearing. I loved that Melanie accepted him for everything that he was, despite her closed-off opinion at the start. And when these two got together, HOLY sprinkler system it was smoking hot!! Whew, Gabe knew just what to do to get Mel going, and my heart was racing!!

My only gripe, and the primary reason this isn't a 5 star for me, was that I was so anxious for more of these characters when it ended!! While I liked that it wasn't the typical perfect HEA, I wanted more of a clue as to where things went. I mean, there were a LOT of obstacles for them, so you pretty much have no idea where they end up in the future despite their intentions now. But overall, I really enjoyed these characters and this was a great hot short story! Definitely want to get my hands on the rest of this series when it comes out!

HOT SEXY ROCK STAR AND HOT SEXY SEX ALERT!!!! Olivia Cunning, author of two of my favorite books Backstage Pass and Rock Hard, brings us the first novella in a new series, about another hot rock band! This review is based on knowing Try Me (One Night with Sole Regret series) was just a novella going in. It is very hard to do any more than this such a small amount of pages. Yes, I'd like to knock off some stars because I wanted more, but again, it was a novella, and the point was it is about one night! I think I am happier to have had just this little bit than to wait for more, because I really loved what I got!

Nobody writes hot sexy rock stars with a smart sensitive side like Olivia Cunning. This book was no exception. I loved the glimpse we got into the whole band, and enjoyed every character in the book.

Melanie is dragged to another rock concert by her wild friend Nikki. She goes to keep Nikki out of trouble, but really hates the whole tattooed, pierced scene. When Nikki manipulates them some backstage passes, Melanie occupies herself chatting with the only nice, normal looking guy in the room, who was also hot as hell and smart too. Gabe had on a hat, and was hiding a mowhawked, tattooed scalp, and the fact that he was the drummer of the band she was kind of dissing. (tee hee)

Melanie's wild side came out and Gabe's sweet smart side came out, and when they got together......HOLY WOW, it was HOT!!!!! I actually had to put down the book midway till my husband got home, stuck my kids in front of video games and locked the bedroom door for a while. (Bad mommy, but happy parents) So Olivia, if you read this, my husband and I both thank you!!!

Gabe had a very interesting hot hobby as well, and if he ever wants to market his "hobby", I'll help him right here at Ana's Attic! (Really, I'd help him with ANYTHING ;-) ) Olivia Cunning has a great way of developing a relationship and emotions even in a quick one night stand type of book.

-Introduction to the whole band and all the characters
-Gabe was adorable and smart
-Hot sex written well
-Gabe's hobby

-It was too short (I can't help it, I wanted MORE!)
-Melanie's opinion of tattoos changed a little too quickly and easily

5 stars (for a novella) 5 for Heat

What do you call a guy who hangs out with a band? A drummer.
Totally lame joke, I know, but a drummer guy I used to work with told it to me and I haven't had much cause to use it so I thought I would drop it in here...

'Try Me' is my first read from rock'n'roll enthusiast/author Olivia Cunning. Now I've checked out reviews in the past pertaining to her 'Sinners on Tour' series, so I knew I would be getting an erotically-charged story about a hot rock band member (in this case the drummer) getting it on with a semi-slutty lady who may or may not be a groupie (in this case she starts out as a non-groupie) - and that's exactly what I got with this novella.

All in all I would have to say that this was OK - and I think I actually would check out the next in this series. The writing was pretty good IMO and it was definitely hot. BUT it was... weirdly hot. And the hotstuff was sometimes.... confusing. And drummer Gabe/Force came across a tad bit creepy... sweet, but his "hobby" was creepy. And Melanie was a bit... dumb. I mean who lets some guy (albeit a hot guy, but hot guys can be psychos too) stick homemade sex "toys" that include clamps, suctions cups and weird wooden knobs on you and in you??? Uhhhh, that's just plain D-U-M-B, and (hopefully) unrealistic. Just sayin'.

Wow. I REALLY liked this one!!! Try Me is the 1st installment in the One Night with Sole Regret series. It's a sweet & sexy novella that features two FANTASTIC CHARACTERS!!! These days, it's rare to find a novel that features two unique & likable main characters. More often than not, one of the protagonists is bound to become annoying or loathsome over time.... In this particular novel, however, the hero & the heroine—Gabe & Melanie— are just BOTH so damn endearing. And although the novella is only approximately 85 pages long, I guarantee that at least 70 of those pages are filled with some of the HOTTEST scenes that you will EVER read. I was rather impressed!

I only wish that this novella had been longer! I am currently reading the series' 2nd installment, Tempt Me, which features Gabe's friend & bandmate— Adam. This 2nd novella is NOT nearly as enjoyable as the 1st, & the main characters—Adam & Madison— are quickly spiraling into "Annoying Hero/Annoying Heroine" Territory. I would have much preferred to continue reading about Gabe & Melanie and to forego Adam's less than mediocre story altogether.

Rating for Try Me: *4/5 stars*

Loved it! Yes, it's a novella and it's focuses on One night (with Sole Regrets) but I absolutely adored it. They were wonderful together and I loved how Melanie didn't know who he was at first.

"Nice to meet you, Gabe. How did a normal-looking guy like you end up backstage with all these, erm, interesting folks?"

I want more of Gabe and Melanie and I look forward to seeing them in the next book. I love the guys in Sole Regrets *grins*

No one writes flirting and sexual chemistry as Olivia Cunning. Wowza! I love that it felt complete as a novella and as a short break in a stressful period of my life it was absolutely perfect! I didn't have the time or the patience to sit down and slowly savor a full length novel. And as novellas go, I can't imagine anything better than this series xD

Not really a believable storyline. I like a short sexy read but it does need to have an interesting story and at least a bit of character development.

I liked Gabe quite a bit but I can’t say I was all that fond of Melanie.
