Thanks Brenda. I just realised I posted it in the wrong spot. It was meant to be in the Aussie Author challenge 2014 so I've deleted and reposted. Yes well we often get uncorrected proofs at work and half the time I bring them home not even knowing what they are!! I'm also fortunate that the other girls I work with generally have different preferences to me so I'm lucky enough to get a lot of the crime and fiction novels.

I'm really keen to read this one, I devoured her first ones, so I'll be interested in your thoughts. I love her work! Yes, your job is definitely one to love;)

I just can't say no to free books but in this case it was a lucky find.
I was put onto her mid 2012 I think, and read the first four in a month! Borrowed them all from the library:)
You ARE lucky to get free books regularly, Elaine! Although, unless they were already on my TBR list, it might be more of a hindrance than a help!I've just finished my no. 6 read - The Children of the King by Sonya Hartnett - my last whole book for 2013. Now I'm 6 categories down, 7 to go...
1.
Lighthouse Bay by Kimberley Freeman.2.
Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
3. New Release - changed from The Spy by James Phelan to Unforgivable by Sharon Robards
4. Literature Map - I put in Kerry Greenwood and selected Ariana Franklin - Mistress of the Art of Death
5.
And an extra one -
6.
7. Mardi Gras - LGBT author - The Painted Veil by W. Somerset Maugham
8. Australia Day - Aussie Author - The Secret River by Kate Grenville and perhaps also The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman and/or The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
9. .

11.
12. Jan TBR - The Cleverness of Ladies by Alexander McCall Smith

Brenda wrote: "I was put onto her mid 2012 I think, and read the first four in a month! Borrowed them all from the library:)"Wow Brenda. Although that doesn't surprise me...and I'm sure they weren't the only books you read in that month!!! Well maybe I'll have to read it soon. I think I really need to stop borrowing books from the library and just read the ones I have at home. They should keep me going for a while.

Good job Kathryn. You seem to be reading well ahead of schedule. As for free books, I basically have no shelf space for my books anymore but honestly I just can't pass up a free book and especially the opportunity to read a book that hasn't been published yet!! There's a stack of books on my lounge room floor in front of the fire place and my husband is always threatening to throw them out...but he wouldn't dare touch them!!! Perhaps I should make a NY's resolution after all...to buy more bookshelves. :)
Finished another No. 2 - Valentines Day
The Nonesuch / Georgette Heyerand also a No. 11 - December TBR...
Born to Rule: Five Reigning Consorts, Granddaughters of Queen Victoria / Julia P. GelardiOnly a couple more days before work looms so I'll see if I can get another couple in!
Had a quick read last night and finished another No. 2 Valentine Day book
Powder And Patch / Georgette Heyer
