I'm not sure Zara, I have always been a fast reader. No special reason. I'm afraid that's one question I can't answer :)

I'm really keen to read this one, I devoured her first ones, so I'll be interested in your thoughts. I love her work! Yes, your job is definitely one to love;)

I've not read any of hers Brenda but this one does sound good and really it was sheer fluke that I ended up with it. I just can't say no to free books but in this case it was a lucky find.
I was put onto her mid 2012 I think, and read the first four in a month! Borrowed them all from the library:)

I've just finished my no. 6 read - The Children of the King by Sonya Hartnett - my last whole book for 2013. Now I'm 6 categories down, 7 to go...
1.

2.
Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks
3. New Release - changed from The Spy by James Phelan to Unforgivable by Sharon Robards
4. Literature Map - I put in Kerry Greenwood and selected Ariana Franklin - Mistress of the Art of Death
5.
And an extra one -
6.
7. Mardi Gras - LGBT author - The Painted Veil by W. Somerset Maugham
8. Australia Day - Aussie Author - The Secret River by Kate Grenville and perhaps also The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman and/or The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
9. .
10. Book made into a Movie - The Thorn Birds by Colleen McCullough
11.
12. Jan TBR - The Cleverness of Ladies by Alexander McCall Smith
13. Feb TBR - It Takes A Village by Christine Stinson

Wow Brenda. Although that doesn't surprise me...and I'm sure they weren't the only books you read in that month!!! Well maybe I'll have to read it soon. I think I really need to stop borrowing books from the library and just read the ones I have at home. They should keep me going for a while.

I've just finished my no. 6 read - [book:The Chil..."
Good job Kathryn. You seem to be reading well ahead of schedule. As for free books, I basically have no shelf space for my books anymore but honestly I just can't pass up a free book and especially the opportunity to read a book that hasn't been published yet!! There's a stack of books on my lounge room floor in front of the fire place and my husband is always threatening to throw them out...but he wouldn't dare touch them!!! Perhaps I should make a NY's resolution after all...to buy more bookshelves. :)

and also a No. 11 - December TBR...

Only a couple more days before work looms so I'll see if I can get another couple in!
