Wild Blue Yonder November/December Challenge Within A Challenge Mini
Duration: November 1st through December 31th
The challenge is to read one book from each category, Thankful, Giving, Peaceful, and So-u-lful Days and to do the Secret Santa Read. For a total of 4 or 5 books during November and December.
This is a self-challenge and you can keep track of your and everyone else doing the challenge at the link below. I will post an update on how everyone is doing bi-weekly and at the end of the challenge.
Sign-up to participate at this WBY Nov/Dec Mini Challenge Link . Post the books that you are planning to read during the challenge for the Secret Santa.
If you want you can double, triple, or you can keep the challenge going as many times as you like.
Please Tag when putting on WBY main pages (no need to in the personal tracking folder) to help keep track of the challenge.

1. Thankful Days:
Theme: Read a book with a Thanksgiving theme: Family, Gratitude, Food, Eating, Gathering/s. Tag (T1)
Cover: With the following: the Word Thanks or Gratitude, or type of Food in the Title, a Cornucopia, a Turkey, Pumpkin Pie, Brown, Orange or Yellow on the cover. Tag (C1)

2. Giving Days:
Theme: Read a book that has a type of celebration, story about giving, favors, awards, legacy, tribute, or celebration. Tag (T2)
Cover: With the following: Gift or Present or a type of Celebration in the title, or Multi/Bright Colors on the cover. Tag (C2)

3. Peaceful Days:
The road to peace is understanding each other.
Theme: Read a book that is about another culture or country or planet (can include a SciFi, Fantasy, or Paranormal World), walk in someone else's shoes with a memoir, a story about travel. Tag (T3)
Cover: With the following: has the name of another Culture or Country or Planet in the title, or the color blue or green on the cover.Tag (C3)

4.So-u-lful Days:
December 21 is Winter Solstice
Theme: Read a book that is about winter, time (the change in seasons, another time, passage of time, traveling through time), the solar system (space), the dark of night (or something dark), a soul's journey/lessons from the dark to the light, or spiritual. Tag (T4)
Cover: With the following: has the word Winter or Time in the title, or Snow/winter, deep dark space, or night time scene, black, white or purple on the cover. Tag (C4)

Secret Santa
The secret is you get to pick one of the other participates books. You can either substitute it with one of your own 4 you have chooen or add it to your list (instead of four books you will have five).

Congrats to Moonstone.Hey Wild Ones with our mini challenge in progress I need to know if those who are doing it or want to do it want to continue even if Tower 2 has been won.
I continued the mini challenge that our group was doing until its finished date for Tower 1 even after the it was won.
So it's up to you if you want to continue or not (as far as Im concerned) but I need to know from you if you are going to :D Please give me a head's up.
I'm planning on it, but if you want to close the link, I will finish it on my own. :D
Hows everyone doing on the mini so far.I really didnt get much reading done in November so feel like Im behind so far. Hope to catch up pretty quick at the beginning of Dec. Fingers Crossed :D

I'm actually glad November is over. Now I get to read more than one book every few weeks.

Dont know why I just didnt seem to get anywhere with my reading. I only got half of my usual number of books read in Nov. Yes I did do NaNo but it shouldnt have cut into my reading that much :O Good thing Tower is done.
I guess we should do the Happy December Dance or something like that.
I need to update mine - I got a ton of reading done in November, just not a lot of administrative upkeep lol.
I really just need to read my Secret Santa book...on request from the library.
