Hm I just found out that rick Riordan hasn't stated directly that he is gay, like I originally thought. My bad. :p I guess bisexuality is a possibility, but I still find it unlikely.

But he's gonna be even lonelier and more depressed by the fact that Percy will turn him down. How is Nico going to get a happy ending? That's what I want to know. He has so much problems. Are they all going to be solved in one book along with the damn war they gotta fight? It would just be easier to kill him off, although I definitely DO NOT want that to happen. I bet Nico's death has at least been considered by Rick. Or at least it crossed his mind.

And I feel like Nico has to get sadder in order for him to finally become happy, like he has to defeat his demons and accept himself or something. Yeah, but everyone says "I want Nico to have a happy ending." But how? He has so much issues besides the gay one. I do want him to have a happy ending, but with everything going on, it's gonna be difficult.
Being gay is not Nico's only problem. He has a lot more. Everyone focuses on his homosexuality but what about the fact that he was born in a different time from everyone else or the fact that he's a son of Hades or the fact that his sister died. He's not only mourning because he knows he'll get rejected. I know he can't solve all these problems, but can he move on from it and be happy? Because he certainly hasn't moved on. And he definitely isn't happy.

Yeah, I see where you guys are getting at. It just my negative mind imagining all these things and finding reasons for it. I'm just scared it'll happen but I shouldn't because Rick won't just kill Nico off when he's been such an important character to the series. Thank you guys, I'm starting to understand. No I can't imagine Rick would kill Leo off... Frank I am 90% sure is gonna die. And if he does then I'm thinking Hazel will go with him to Elysium like you said. Nico I think will live on and learn to get over Percy ... I also think Reyna might die in the war of the camps... I'm not sure what that part of the prophesy means though =\

Lol I love viria! I found out about her when Rick featured her art twice on his twitter page. I love the pocket Leo's she drew >///< So cute~ and Nico is just the right age for me. We're both 14 years old ! Yay for me :D Too bad imma grow older and he'll just stay the same.

Booklion, I've been physically attracted to girls since I started middle school. For a while that's all it was, just crushes and me thinking girls were cute or pretty (pretty much the same way I was with boys). At that time I didn't understand about sexuality or what certain labels meant (which caused a lot of confusion for me) I remember having to ask around what it meant to be bi-curious. But for some reason I was never able to identify as bi-curious, it didn't fit... When I got older it became more of a sexual attraction and that's when I knew that I was bisexual.
I'm not going crazy or did book lions comment get deleted o_O i didn't just comment that for no reason? Damn it, now it just seems awkward >=[

... Wow. All this hate for Nico... Nico is actually now my favorite character. Rick has taken a risky but right move. Percy NEEDS to find out. Everyone needs to. That's the number one thing I want when I read the BoO. If Percy never finds out, my life will not be complete. And anyways, how is Nico going to move on if he doesn't confess? It HAS to happen O_O
