I'm wondering how many BSB players are going to begin furiously reading the latest shelf on Tuesday? I know if I were going to pick up instead of waiting on Magic Shifts to arrive by mail, that is what I would be really tempted to do. ;D

I was tempted to wait for Kate, but I've got an ARC of Crucible Zero and I'm goin' for it. I'm also hoping Kate fits the next shelf, if not, I'm reading it anyway.

I mentioned on my group thread that this shelf was a week too early and next week would have been perfect for Magic Shifts :) the thought of waiting until Tuesday to start this week's book never occurred to me.

Quick question - I'm planning on reading the Magical Bakery series (1-4 I've read previously, 5 is new). Would anything other than the first book work for this week, or would it need to be the newest (aka unread) one?

After the 199 page annoyance of Stardust (luckily caught before reading) I'm double checking everything. Looks like all of this series is just over 300 pages so perfect for bingo :)

I also loved how Kate was oblivious to her neighbors and Curran (view spoiler)[justifying it by telling her he tried to have the conversation about "expanding" their property. Kate really is a bad detective is she didn't realize they moved in (hide spoiler)].
