Don't make me nervous :( i am no authority on Urdu Literature. But personally i have some deep respect for Ashfaq Ahmed. Zavia got me through some tough years of my life. but after reading raah e rawan by bano qudsia he has disappointed me a bit! but none the less no one can be perfect. But I still love him.

"Zavia is his only book that I've read... and I really really LOVED the book. It's Bano Qudsia's book "Raja Gidh" that had me really disappointed.
I'm sorry but I truly hate that book. The characters' personalities were so annoying and got under my skin. It seemed to me that they were so unrealistic, even if I should've anticipated that in a book but it was still frustrating. And in the end I felt that there's a BIG... FAT... CHUNK of the story... missing.
Have you read Farhat Ishtiaq, Umera Ahmed and Nimra Ahmed???
