i think i'll probably will continue with these::i hate to start a series and then abandon it::especially after just one book::which kind of smacks of defeatism::i guess it's just that i'm really enjoying what i'm reading at the moment::so i'm spoilt::

I agree, it does get better. I just read Tegan's story and that was decent. I have them all, but don't know who the stories are about yet and really hope Rio has his own book, SOON. And Harvard, too..the man, not the dog. LOL

Well, yet another book down. Undead and Unwelcome was a quick (2.25 hrs) read. Funny, yes, but the series is starting to get a bit darker. Which, I guess, considering the main characters (King and Queen of Vampires, plus the Devil's daughter) was bound to happen. But still a good light yarn.

Moi--with Nina Bangs, it depends on WHICH series you are reading. The Mackenzie vamps and the Castle of Dark Dreams series are both humourous. If've just started the Eternal Pleasure book (Gods of the Night) and it seems to be darker than the other books of hers I've read.

i'm reading book 8 from my list Sea Witch::i'm enjoying this as i've not read anything like or even similar to this before::so far there has been character development and placement::the story/plot is beginning to unfold from chapter 5::the relationship between caleb and maggie is at present based on need (for her) rather than love so is similar to A Mermaid's Kiss altho the storyline is NOT similar::
