I read it about a year ago and I remember that it never did really pick up. I rated it as 2 stars.

I read it five years ago and thought it was excellent. Not everyone likes that sort of book though.

Hi Karina, hope you enjoy McEwan. I've read some of his and enjoyed "On Chesil Beach" the most out of them so far. Currently reading "Atonement" and may give more attention to complete within a week or so :)
