Maddy Barone (maddybarone) | 74 comments Have you ever read a book and then immediately began re-reading it? I do that occasionally. Sometimes I'm so eager to read that I go so fast I miss stuff. A leisurely re-read helps me fill in the gaps I missed, plus I can really savor it. Please tell me I'm not the only one who does this!

I'm stoke. I have Styxx and the audiobook currently waiting for me, woohoo.

message 44: by Sonya (new)

Sonya Heaney I'm funny. Sometimes I read a brilliant book, but only feel like reading it once. Then there're books that I *know* aren't as good, but read them over and over.

Then some are good and rereadable!

I was about to list all my favourites, but the list got really, really long. Here's just what I love in the paranormal kind of area:

Moon Called (Mercy Thompson, #1) by Patricia Briggs Cry Wolf (Alpha & Omega, #1) by Patricia Briggs Kiss of Midnight (Midnight Breed, #1) by Lara Adrian Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #1) by J.R. Ward Grave Sight (Harper Connelly, #1) by Charlaine Harris

message 45: by Deborah (new)

Deborah Cornette | 6 comments Alexandra Ivy's series "Guardians Of Eternity" is a much reread favorite, love the character Levet.

Sharon Ashwood's series "The Dark Forgotten" is fun.

Laurell K. Hamilton's series "Anita Blake" when my mood is dark and her other series "Merry Gentry" for a lighter side of dark.

Michele Beardsley's "Brokenheart" series is a silly fun read.

Nina Bang's "Castle of Dark Dreams" series her characters both Ganemyde and Sparkle Stardust are fun.

I have many more, too many to list honestly as I am a voracious reader.

message 50: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleyjeffery) | 36 comments Anna Dressed in Blood
The Hollows
Carrie
Harry Potter

Sometimes I go through a book so quickly I have to re-read it. And sometimes the book is so good and heart-wrenching I am incapable of re-reading it almost as if the first time was so good I'm terrified it can't possibly live up to what I remember.
