Catching up on posts, cleaning house, and cooking some ribs in the slow cooker. Determined to finish the books I'm currently reading before starting The Strain.

message 2057: by Daniel (new)

Daniel (diaze) Just finished watching The Walking Dead. :-/

message 2058: by [deleted user] (new)

Getting off the computer and going to the bedroom to read. Plan for tonight. Finish The Caine Mutiny by Herman Wouk and read at least 50 more pages in Rot and Ruin (Benny Imura, #1) by Jonathan Maberry . I just don't get a lot of reading done when I'm on GR's. Best to read and then get online.

message 2059: by Angie (new)

Angie | 623 comments I'm about to go and make a drink then I think I'm going to finish the walking dead. Nick downloaded the second half of the season earlier so I want to find out what happened. I'm trying not to read the walking dead thread:-)

message 2060: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm finishing Rot and Ruin, drinking lots of water (got myself another kidney stone), and have some running to do later.

I'll catch up with everything over the next couple of days.

Spent the whole day at court with grandson. It is really nice outside, so we are taking the dog for a walk shortly. Afterwards I plan to read and relax for the rest of the night.

message 2080: by Angie (new)

Angie | 623 comments Court dates about kids are so stressful. I hope everything is going alright with him Cindy:) Its 11.10pm here and I'm not doing much, I'm tired tonight. I've got my cat snoozing next to me and I'm trying to think of something to watch:o

message 2081: by [deleted user] (new)

Got back from walking the dog and cooked dinner. Now I'm settling down to read something. I'm not doing a dam# thing the rest of the night except relax. Been going continuously since 5:30 a.m. this morning.

message 2082: by ☆Joycedale☆ (new)

☆Joycedale☆ | 307 comments Spent the day with my sis and ex sis in law. Went about 150 miles in the car. Combine that with a buffet lunch and warm day I just want to sleep now.

message 2083: by Angie (new)

Angie | 623 comments Last night at about 9.30pm I just fell asleep and I slept right through until 11.30am this morning. By I'd swap that in a heartbeat for some proper regular sleep every night. Its now 3.15pm and I'm not doing much:) Just relaxing until my grandson Jamie comes round for dinner in a couple of hours.

I am watching the live coverage of the air show on my ipad. Thunder over Louisville is today and I love the airshow. However, you couldn't pay me to go down to the riverfront. It is a nightmare to get home after the fireworks. Plus, a couple of gangs that have been terrorizing the city for a couple of weeks now have threatened to cause trouble. I'm happy just watching from home. Reading a little bit and taking it easy.

sonny (no longer in use) (satyrica) | 32 comments I've had a day or two without reading to give my eyes a break but I've just read 50 or so pages of the bell. really good so far.

message 2086: by [deleted user] (new)

12:42 p.m. and I'm getting ready to fix some coffee and read. Don't have any doctors appointments today and I'm a little depressed. Great time for reading some books and getting out of myself for a while.

So I'm just going for a better understanding here. You're depressed because you aren't seeing any doctors today? Or you're wishing you could see a doctor to help because you're feeling depressed? Just clarifyin'! *grin*

message 2089: by [deleted user] (new)

I've been going through this since December Brenda. Lots of medical problems from breaking my back in January to heart problems. Lost my job because I passed out at work and have been hospitalized three times since mid-December. It's just getting old. I am happy about no doctors appointments today though.

message 2090: by Brenda (new)

Brenda Seaberg (cricketseaberg) | 241 comments Okay, clarified. I was just trying to cheer you up, with a smart-aleck remark. I hope you're doing better. Yeah, as some friends of mine say, I didn't sign up for this!!!

message 2091: by [deleted user] (new)

I have to do that as well Sonny and I hate it:( But every few days it just has to be done, if not I get major migraines. Have fun easing back into your books:-)
