What Are Currently Reading?
I'm currently reading one little lie by Sam Carrington. I'm hooked. I'm interested in the psychologist's character and the development of the 2 mother characters. So far I'm intrigued and wonder what twists are in store.

My current read.
Laresa, would you believe I enjoy Africa American books too and I am Causian. I used to ask my coworkers about some of the lingo. Boy, did they get a laugh and then shared with their friends. I learned a lot and all good memories. Just wanted to share. Wish I could share with you but I'm in St. Louis. Have a good night.
Just finished "Before I Burn" by Gaute Heivoll.Read my review here:

I do not mind an honest opinion about a book that I may have truly enjoyed and someone did not or thought it wasn't that great. What I absolutely do not like is when someone says, "This book is awful, do not bother to read" or some such wording. Individual readers differ in what we enjoy or not, what we think is excellent writing or those who do not think such. Offer an honest review of a book, why it was not to their liking, but do not voice the opinion about what one should or should not read, or worse yet make a comment about a reader who enjoyed the book as being "stupid" or "ignorant."

One Day in December by Josie Silver. What an amazing feel good read. You'll be rooting for the 2 main characters to make a decision that is clear through out the book. I definitely recommend you pick this book.

Taylor Caldwell’s 1952 THE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE. OMG ... I’m only 25 pages in & it is already haunting. Too close to today’s America. She was truly prescient.
Regina just finished with Verity by Colleen Hoover excellent. Now starting The Boy and his Blue Ribbon by Pepper Winters.
Final book of the year and just hit my goal! Whew...Finished

I'm 20 pages away from finishing 11/22/63 by Stephen King. I could have finished tonight but I'm gonna make it my first book of 2019 instead.
I'm reading A PLACE FOR US by Fatima Farheen Mirza. Very good so far. This is SJP (Sarah Jessica Parker) book. Hoping it delivers! :)
I am reading Liane Moriarty's Nine Perfect Strangers. I wanted to start the year off with something light and funny. I was sitting in a neighborhood Mexican restaurant a couple of days ago having a Margarita and laughing out loud—I mean really laughing out loud. The poor bartender asked if I was okay, I'm sure thinking he had a lone madwoman in the nearly empty restaurant. "Just reading a funny book," I said. He looked relieved.
