What Are You Currently Reading? (doesn't have to be an Aussie book)

Definately finish the book first Samantha, I think it will only enhance your experience of the movie.
Last night I finished Endsinger by Jay Kristoff. You need the tissues handy at the end:)

This morning I finished my audiobook which I thought was called Rivers of London but appears to have been re-titled Midnight Riot by Ben Aaronovitch. It is book one in the Peter Grant series anyway!

Now I'm trying to decide whether to read The Widow's Confession by Sophia Tobin or All I Love and Know: A Novel by Judith Frank.
oh the decisions...

It is called Rivers of London but the American version was retitled to Midnight Riot. Why this is necessary I am unsure, can anyone explain why they feel the need to do this? Is the word London offensive and therefore won't sell any books?

I am blown away by this book! It is so profound - lyrical and beautifully written. I'm goi..."
ooh that looks good.

Now I am reading a romance novella

The Knife of Never Letting Go
and I'm enjoying it so far!
I'm also reading
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
for the first time and it's really good!!

A tragic mystery set in 1898, discovered by a young women in 1932 who has been shunted off to a country estate to have her illegitimate baby. Quite a long book and a bit slow, but well written and comes together nicely at the end so I did enjoy it.

It does sound very good Sarah!

Over 700 pages of creepy eerie! :0

Hi Samantha, this was my favourite book in 2014. Hope you like it and I'm with you ... I have to read the book first! I'm about to start Gillian Flynn's Dark Places

That probably explains the review I saw written in the style of a notebook!

Oooh that is a pet hate of mine, reviews that spoil books. Some reviews that I have read leave me thinking 'well I don't need to read it now, I already know everything'.

I noticed one of the teenage girls at a social gathering today reading this (and not one of the ones who usually has their nose in a book!). It must be good.

Another excellent novel by Ishiguro is When We Were Orphans.

Whoo-hoo:D Hoping you like it, it's a book I can easily re-read many times. Gives me something different each time I read it. Might be my fave of his books.

Hi Sally. I keep passing this one on the bookshop shelf and wondering if I should give it a go.... I think I might now.
