25.9 -- Chaitra's task: Summer Movies...The Low Profile Version
For my first book, I used option 3 and read a book with a word in the title that appears more than once.
After the Fall, Before the Fall, During the Fall - the word "fall" appearing 3 times in the title.
For my second book, I used option 6, and read a book by Margaret Atwood, one of my favorite authors. I read Oryx and Crake.
25.11 -- Vi/Midu 's task: Explore Listopias
I started with a favorite book, The Hunger Games.
For my first book, I used the list Best Dystopian and Post Apocalyptic Fiction, on which The Hunger Games was #1 as of 8/26/13. I read Battle Royale, which was #30 on the list on 8/26/13.
For my second book, I used the list Best Dystopian Books. As of 8/26/13, The Hunger Games was #2 on that list. I read Kallocain, #88 on that list on 8/26/13.
Neither book was a re-read.

It is really great that Dlmrose is acknowledging that the finishers have "passed muster" even before the next readerboard update. That is really helpful when the finisher is holding their breath and crossing their fingers that they didn't hit "the wall". Great idea dlmrose, especially as the finish line approaches.
