Suggestions for a new series to read?

Mystery.. I'd go for The Kane Chronicles by Rick Riordan (they're three books.)
I don't know if you'll like them but they're amazing.

Susan Beth Pfeffer's trilogy is a wonderful, seemingly little known series. The books are Life as we knew it, The dead and the gone, and This world we live in. It's a survivalist story about what happens when the moon is pushed closer to earth. I adored the series!
