Really? I can't wait! But first I'd better hurry to finish the book.
Neil Gaiman's American Gods and Anansi Boys will be adapted for TVThe Guardian - by David Barnett - 1 day ago

I thoroughly enjoyed The Abominable. It is long and detailed, if you enjoy that kind of thing. I got a pretty thorough education on rock and mountain climbing. The story and characters engaged me, too.

Just finished the prequel to the Body Farm series titled Cut to the Bone: A Body Farm Novel by Jefferson Bass. It was very good. Now I'm moving on to the 2nd John Puller book, The Forgotten by David Baldacci.
After my obsessive binge through everything Dark Tower, I decided to take a break from my goal of reading all of Sai King's canon. Don't worry, its only gonna last a week or so.I saw "Philomena" yesterday, brilliant by the way. Bought its basis this morning The Lost Child of Philomena Lee: A Mother, Her Son and A Fifty-Year Search. I don't understand How I can still be this disturbed, and i already know whats going to happen. A real life horror story if there ever was one.
I just finished Love in the Time of Cholera, and posted a 5 star review... great book. I've got 2 more books by Gabriel Garcia Marquez ready to go, but first I'm into two new books by John Locke (The guy who writes the Donavan Creed adventures.) His pace is as far away from Marquez as you could get. Sort of like comparing a carriage ride to a muscle car. I'm enjoying the audiobook of Duma Key... like it a lot so far, and will probably go to Wind Through the Keyhole after that on audio.

Finished Needful Things
another good king book which would have been great had it not been for the weak ending.Joy wrote: "The Long Walk I just started the long walk."
The best Bachman book by some distance.
Andrew wrote: "I'm back to Stephen King's novels and now I'm reading The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon"I loved that book..
Matthew wrote: "Just started Lightning by Koontz. Is that like cheating on Stephen King?"
I think it's more like dating multiple supermodels. I don't think you can go wrong. Lol.
Joy wrote: "The Long Walk I just started the long walk."I loved The Long Walk. That one stuck with me for quite a while after reading it.
Currently reading Fear Nothing by Lisa Gardner. Think I will finish it by tonight. Really good book!
Magician, Black House, A Storm of Swords: Blood and Gold, The Book Thief, NOS4A2, Framed and Lirael lol
Finished The Intruders
another good book by Michael Marshall, one of the most under-rated thriller writers at the moment.

"Erin - I heard that Koontz wrote this as sort of a silly book because he had just written the book Intensity and it took a lot out of him. I enjoyed Tick Tock, but it is definitely a bit of a goofy horror/action novel.

Good to know, some other comments I read were saying something similar. Good thing I only paid $2 for it!

"Hey let us know how you like it, or if its any good. I was very attracted to it a few months back, I came across it & read the summary and for some reason it really grabbed me. I love horror novels but i personally dont take them seriously. Don't mean that in a bad way, hard to explain but i'm just not picky with the horror genre, i always seem to like the good stuff and the supposed bad stuff, unless it's like a really cheap horror novel.

I read this a while ago and liked it.
That's good to know Alondra. I loved The Time Traveler's Wife but had heard that this one wasn't as good so I'd been putting it off.

Will do. As of right now I do like the story but I am still early into it.

I don't like to be really negative about a book when I can see that other people clearly like it, but I gave it 1 star. I actually wondered if he was high when he wrote it.

The impression that I got was that you wondering if he was high when he wrote it is exactly what he was going for!

I guess he accomplished his goal then!

That's great, my aunt was the one who fostered my love of reading at a young age :)
