A whimsical, funny, inspiring tale!"
I just picked this book up to read! I am so ready for a happy book.

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Really anything by Douglas Adams except for Mostly Harmless, that last one was just depressing.
Leap of Faith: Memoirs of an Unexpected Life by Queen Noor of Jordan because it's great to know that there are still those in the world that choose to use their power, influence, and resources to help others.
Going Solo by Roald Dahl, maybe it's not the funniest book ever, but we can't deny it's full of reason to love the world we live in. That's a reason to keep you happy.
Day 5 : A Book that Makes You Happy
Oh ! There are so many !
I will try to stick to the ones I happen to read recently.. and I end up having three. I cried while reading them but that was because they were so good, eventually making me happy.
- The Bridges of Madison County by Robert James Waller
- The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
- Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford
JUST finished it:
Hyperbole and a Half: Unfortunate Situations, Flawed Coping Mechanisms, Mayhem, and Other Things That Happened, by Allie Brosh... and I'm still smiling :D
Au bonheur des Dames, by Emile Zolai don't khow why but every time i read i fel like a new, better person!! this is a book that makes me reaaly happy :D
May 5th Entry: A book that makes me happy, and it's part of a series too is The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares.
Racing Odysseus: A College President Becomes a Freshman Again by Roger H. Martin definitely put a smile on my face.
This is a hard question for me, as I mostly read sad/ depressing books. One book that made me laugh and smile was Decca: The Letters of Jessica Mitford it's a long collection of letters, but they are witty and humorous throughout.
I can't think of any book that would make me happy, I don't read them for that. The only thing that comes to mind is reading some non-fiction book and learning new things. But you can only do that once. Or maybe looking through Kotiruoka ("Home food") and thinking what I should cook next, which is what I am doing now. That's a classic, too. It first came out in 1908 and mine is the 89th edition. The recipes have of course changed some.
Tytti wrote: "No, it's not really my kind of a book. I didn't read that many children's books as a child, either."It's amazing as an adult, too, I have to say. I read it & listened to it, in February. Then just listened again last month.
Tytti wrote: "I guess I was (and am) more of a Ronja girl, myself. Ronia, the Robber's Daughter"I love that cover!
Tytti wrote: "I think I prefer the more original cover that most editions have."It's also appealing to me. I like them both :)
My library even has a copy.
MK wrote: "My library even has a copy."It's one of the more well known children's books in Europe, I believe.
There is a movie, too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U2YP...
Anne of Green Gables which I read many years ago and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, which is a more recent read.
As I Lay DyingJust kidding, this question was harder than I thought it would be at first.
My answer: The Little Prince
