Hello,My name is Josh and I have both a Bachelors and Masters in History. I have a fascination with Early American history and military history, especially tactics and advancement in equipment. I am currently studying to be a secondary Education Social Studies teacher and work at the local library as a clerk, which is where I learned of Good Reads. Because of schooling, I haven't had a chance to read much lately, but I am always looking for something to add to my shelf!
I'm from the US and am most interested in ancient history at the moment, especially that of Greece. I also like political and military history of the West, from all eras.

Hello Everyone!!I am Jason Williams a retired Military Veteran who served in the U.S. Army for a little over 20 years. I enjoy world history from all time periods. I specifically enjoy German History and WWII topics along with ancient near east history. Hi everyone!My name is Cristian and I am a Catalan Spaniard (that's another interesting history topic, LOL!) currently living in Denmark.
Since I was a kid and my grandfather told me stories about WW2, I have always loved history. I started at 10, reading the books that my grandfather had on WW2 and the Spanish Civil War. When I was a teenager, after reading some books on Napoleon (specially Emil Ludwig's Napoleon), I became greatly interested on him and his times. This year I have been reading on WW1, and I was amazed by this amazing book called The Guns of August, which has become my favourite history book. I am interested in well-written history books, and I guess that the history periods in which I am more interested are the XIX and XX century. I would like to know more about good books on history of the non-Western world.

Hi, everyone. I am fairly new to history - I have a degree in computer science, and took a few history courses in college, but certainly no in-depth study.The Orion series by Ben Bova, oddly enough, is what recently got me into history. I enjoyed the depictions of the protagonist going through various significant times from recorded history.
Since then, I've been reading through some actual history books on subjects such as the Norman conquest, as well as reading through some of Audible's "great courses" on ancient and classical history.
I enjoy reading about all different time periods and cultures, but am particularly interested in ancient and classical history, particularly as it relates to the discovery and development of early technology.
