Hello again everybody, as I said I'm Nabil a 34 years male working as Technical manager in a turomachinery company.
A warm welcome, Nabil. You are in the right place for the history lover. Please browse the threads and join in the discussions/book recommendations. Lots to see and do.
Hello, my name is Hannah. I have a B.A. In History from Judson College in Alabama and a MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. I specialized in Civil War history in college but am interested in all American and European research. My dream is to get the manuscripts on my desk in bound form within the next ten years and soak up copious
I apologize, the last post sent before I finished. To continue, I wish to learn as much as possible from books and fellow writers and readers. I hope this group can assist and inspire. Thanks!
Hi, my name is Meghan Brawley. I'm an indexer and librarian (though not currently working in libraries) in northern Virginia. I'm interested in women's history, American history (colonial/revolutionary and 20th century social history, primarily), Eastern Europe, and Latin America, but honestly, I've never met a history book I'd turn down. I look forward to expanding my knowledge and getting to know this group!
Welcome to the group, Hannah. We have lots here on the Civil War.

And there's much more about other aspects of American history and European history. Hope you can join in on some of the book discussions.
As you get started please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the "add book/author" feature when you comment. It makes things so much easier for people to see your book recommendations, because they can see the cover and the links to the author. And it helps the Goodreads software connect books with groups that talk about them. When citing a book and/or author, please put the book cover, author's photo and author's link after all of the text of your post at the bottom of the post. Placement at the bottom of the post calls the reader's attention to the book and/or author and increases the readability of your post. This is how books you mention should look:
