I finally finished reading Syren by Angie Sage. It was a good read, but very long. Even though I read the other 4 books, I couldn't remember all the people that were referenced in the story. Definately best to read the books in sequence.

I'm interested to know what you think of Dead To Me. It was a really slow read for me. The second book was marginally better.

I actually really liked it. Simon kinda reminded me of Harry Dresden a little. I thought it had some funny, witty writing. I cant wait to start the next book in the series. Sorry you didn't enjoy it.

I've been meaning to pick that up for several months now. I have it listed for a book in one of my challenges so I'll have to read it soon. Glad to hear someone liked it.

I just finished Twilight Fall by Lynn Viehl. Great story, really enjoyed it. Now I think I'm going to force myself to read Shades of Gray by Amanda Ashley. She is my 2nd Chance author in one of my challenges. I thought Night's Touch was terrible, so I'm kinda scared to read another by her.

I started Unhallowed Ground yesterday. It is my first book by Heather Graham. The story is interesting but I'm having a hard time with the characters. They are all so flat. I'm having a hard time keeping the secondary characters straight.

I just don't like that series, but I'm supposed to be giving the author a second chance for a couple of different challenges, so I'll finish eventually.

I finished both and [image error] . I really enjoyed Shadow Blade. A great Urban Fantasy book. Not much romance but great storyline, action, and some Egyptology history thrown in. The Rest Falls Away was pretty good. It was the first book in the series so there was quite a bit of character building, etc. I still enjoyed it and will read the next in the series. I'm now reading [image error]

Just finished but although likeable, it was just too unrealistic for me. I actually skipped most of the second half of the book. Also just finished which is another excellent Amedlia Peabody mystery. Prior to that was , which was nice (lots of Gracie) but had me scratching my head at the end.
