**Note: After I went through the books with no page numbers showing on her shelf, I clicked a few with page numbers above 160 at random to see what format the book was and a few were Kindle/ebooks that show 169 and 214 pages. Now, since those counts are over 160, do I just take them at face value or should I find out word counts/page counts for each book, since they are ebooks? I just realized, if a shelf shows a book over 160 pages I have not been checking for formats of the books. The only reason I did today was because this person has a lot of ebooks that I needed to get more info on. Do ebooks need to be double checked if they show as being over 160 pages?
Thanks again!

Hi Nancy - sorry I missed your post. I am not sure what your question is. For the Tower Team challenges, those books will work since they are over 160 pages.
Using the ISBN's from the link you provided, according to WorldCat information which is one of GR's "approved" resouces, Elegy for Eddie is 335 pages and The English Girl is 482 pages.

According to allromanceebooks.com -
Wolf Games is 32,561 words (130 pages). Will not work.
Wolf Tracks is 34,024 words (136 pages). Will not work.
Wolf Nip is 28,272 words (113 pages). Will not work.
Black Gold would default to the paperback version. APPROVED
Romero would default to the paperback version. APPROVED
Rachel's Totem is 28,957 words (116 pages). Will not work.
The Way You Look Tonight is 80,000 words (320 pages). APPROVED
Love Under Two Honchos would default to the paperback version. APPROVED
As far as your last question - I will have the Mods answer.

65,000 words = 260 pages APPROVED

It goes for 9 hours and 4 minutes but with a quick google I couldn't find a word count. If it helps at all I have another audiobook in my library that goes for 10 hours and 29 minutes and Goodreads lists it as 368 pages, so by that logic Metatropolis should be around 300 pages still, I think?

Jess, I can't give you a word count, but with an audio length, that book is approved.

Let me get back to you, Judy.

That's fine, Christine, approved. 54,160 = 216.54 pages

The only edition of it in GR is an ebook with no pages listed. Smashwords has a word count of 57,890 words listed here.

Let us get back to you on this one, Christine.

Approved = 231.5 pages

❀Oo❀, if the page count works, then the book counts.

this edition says 128 pages but the other editions range from 98 to 175.
thank you

this edition says 128 pages but the other editions range from 98 to 175."
Jane, I'm going to turn that one over to Countess Paige, too. Though, I did find a paperback with a page count of 175 on WorldCat. I just don't know if it is large print or not.

The other 2 editions show 270 & 262 pages.
Amazon has 263 for Kindle and 262 for paperback.
Or should I just have Brooke change her edition.

Amazon shows: 172 for the paperback but 154 for the Kindle. It's 59,000 words.
The audiobook is 6.5 hours which seams too long for the # of pages.
Using 250 words/page it's 236 pages.
Using 300 it's 196.
97 pages would be 608 words/page.

The edition one of my players shelved says 138 pages, one ebook edition shows 220 pages, the kindle edition says 160 pages.
I don't see a word count listed anywhere.

Mary: HDLS, I going to use my rarely enforced Mods' Veto on that one. While the publisher (Hazelden) shows 160 pages, WorldCat data shows 137 pages for all 6 editions listed. In looking at the Amazon preview, it's 130 pages of actual text. Then a preface of about 20 pages and 8 pages of references.
Please send all hate mail to me, not Countess Paige or any of the other mods.

Judy, while this looks hilarious and very, very clever... alas, I'm going to veto it. Sorry.

The Playboy of Harley Street
There are no page numbers listed in GR, Worldcat or Amazon. The other books in the series by this author are all around 180 pgs, but I couldn't find it on the publisher site either.

If this is the cover, I'll add it to GRs' datebase:

Thanks, I'll ask md, but it might take awhile to get an answer about the cover. She has been busy and it looks like she was only online long enough to post the book as read.
She also has this book on her currently reading shelf, so can I get approval for this later:
Doctor on the Red Carpet

Yes, though I can't find it on Google Books, it is available in Australia. Same page number: 187. Can't find a cover. Drat!

I have

Thanks!
