I loved this book! It blew my mind! I love each and every character and the concept is just so interesting and its unlike anything I've heard of. I definitely think that to everyone not reading this because its Stephanie Meyer, is missing out! She wrote this brilliantly! I really hope she keeps writing on this series and doesn't end it because of a few chapters being leaked.. :/
I loved this book too! I was originally a bit skeptical because I didn't like Twilight very much. But I was right in there from the beginning and enjoyed every moment. And it was nowhere as near as angst-y as Twilight!
I read this book, it was AMAZING! I haven't seen the movie, but the book was so good that I couldn't put it down.
I finished reading the book yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed the book, the theme and most of the characters. I liked reading about the other worlds (I wish the movie had showed a little bit of that) and how her perspective of humans and of our planet is in constant development. Overall, I enjoyed reading the book.
I was so impressed with this book. I read it back when it first came out. it's such a clever concept and it's so well written and so different to the twilight saga which is a good thing for Meyer.
i wanted to read it in april but started a week ago. i an half through and loving it. i can see why the aliens took over earth. a good portion of humans can be viewed as evil. every city in our world is plagued with murder, rape, theft, abuse, and the like. this new peaceful world seems almost good until you think of what the are doing to the host souls/ essences. i wonder how this is going to end?
I liked the book, but I hated the movie! And I had the illusion that was going to be better than the Twilight adaptations, because I love Saoirse Ronan...But I was wrong, I thought it was even worst, hahaha Good that she's writting a trilogy though...I would like to know what happens next.
I absolutely loved the book! Bought and read it as soon as it hit the shelves. Been waiting a while for the film. Haven't yet seen it but I'm a bit unsure.. The characters aren't how I pictured then from the book. Hoping it sticks close to the book!
Read the book back in November & I just saw the movie yesterday. The book was amazingg, I really loved it & I think the movie did a pretty good job at recreating it. There were a couple scenes from the book that they left out, that I wished they hadn't, but I still think the movie did well without it, overalm it was a great movie & an even greater book!
I loved this book so much, I read it a couple years ago when it first came out, and now I cannot wait to see the film. I admit, it took me a while to get into, as it has a slow build up, but when the action started, I was HOOKED!!
I finally saw the movie. ugh. Awful. I'm not sure what didn't work. Probably the two voices. It had potential, but it just didn't work.
I really liked this book and thought was a lot better than the twilight books even though I enjoyed those too... Everyone loves a trashy vampire story :) I don't want to see the film because I remember thinking, as I was reading it, a film would not do it justice. The negative side of the book was the fact that I was constantly reminded of an alien film called Body Snatchers but maybe Meyer got some inspiration from it lol

I wholeheartedly AGREE, with EVERYTHING you wrote.
