can I get The Legend of the Bloodstone approved - right now time-travel is showing on the homepage, but only 1 person has shelved it that way and it might disappear
Will Life Goes On do for option 1? First published in 1933, but it only recently got translated into English.
I'm planning on using this Time Between Usfor the time travel option. It's been on my kindle for far too long

I am debating between two books for this one so I thought I would get them both approved. :)For option 2, how about George & the Virgin by Lisa Cach . It has both Science Fiction > Time Travel and Romance > Time Travel Romance listed on the main page.
For option 3, can you see the face of the pocket watch clearly enough on this one?

figured it was worth a try - it looked like the middle had black hands and the outside was the clock - but that's ok
Would you accept this for a clock face even though it's fuzzy
Will this work? This timepiece is fuzzy but obvious on the actual cover. My paperback cover coloring is green like the second one- but mine is in English.

Re Option 1Is it possible to use John Steinbeck's The Red Pony for this option? The book was originally published in 1933 but it is a short book, just over 100 pages in most editions and one of the genres listing on its Good Reads home page is children
Hi Andy,It sounds like this is one of those books that can't be used because of the new rule about page lengths for children's books.
I sure wish that you could use this book, because to me it's an adult classic and it fits the task perfectly. That being said, I'm very much in favor of the new rule as it makes things easier for the mods so I want to follow it.
Not sure how much Steinbeck you've read already, but I highly recommend East of Eden (which is much longer and so won't pose this problem). I also found this book: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14...
It contains both The Pearl and The Red Pony. It's more reading, but The Pearl is a quick read, and I would accept it because the original publication date for both novellas was before 1963.
Thanks, I think I'll do that. I planned to read the Red Pony last season but didn't get it done and now it doesn't seem to fit anywhere. I'll read The Pearl to add to it. I too agree with the new rule. I was just lokking for a way to use The Red pony and you suggestion is a good one.
I saw that you said it was okay to Deanna (message 16 above) that a genre on the main page labelled "Science Fiction > Time Travel" is okay but I just wanted to double check if it is!!
3. Keeping Time 
Will this work? Watch on FDR's arm at the bottom.
Hi Tallulah! Unfortunately this one won't work - the task specifically requires that the face of the watch/clock be clearly visible. I checked out the actual size cover image on Amazon, and while I can tell FDR has a watch on, there isn't enough detail to see the face. Sorry!
Okay. By "the face should be clearly visible," I thought that you meant that the face should be visible to be sure it is a watch. To distinguish it, say, from a bracelet peeking out from a sleeve. Not detailed enough read the dial. No worries. I'll use it in another task. Thanks for checking.
