RLftCI: Monthly Challenge, March 2013: ~GO GREEN~

Duration: 1-March-13 to 31-March-13
Rules: Spring is in the air and with St Patrick's Day just around the corner, I thought it might be nice to get ourselves in the green zone. Choose 4 books from the following categories, and 2 books as Reader's Choice for a Total of 6 books. You can choose any category more than once.

Get the Green Light: Choose a book where more than half the front cover is green. (Your choice is not restricted to listopia.)
Be Green: Choose a book which has an eco-friendly message, or where the Main Characters are "tree-huggers". listopia has this shelf, entitled Best Environmental Books; however, you are not restricted to it.
Green with Envy: Read a book where jealousy or envy is central to the plot. This doesn't have to be a book about a love triangle, the envy can be about a job, an inanimate object, a family member etc.
Green Eggs and Ham: Choose a children's book of 150+ pages... ok, it can also include Young Adult books ... OR read a book where the main character is Vegetarian or Vegan, the greenest way to eat!
The Emerald Isle: Choose a book set in Ireland, where the Main Character is Irish or where there is a celebration for St Patrick's Day.
Green Berets: Read a book where one of the Main Characters are in the military.

I start my work-from-home contract this week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, so tomorrow I'm spending my whole day with my boy, and trying to work at the same time. I've got my fingers crossed it doesn't rain because otherwise he's going to be running me ragged :-) I'm happy but busy.

Be Green: Choose a book which has an eco-friendly message, or where the Main Characters are "tree-huggers".

Green with Envy: Read a book where jealousy or envy is central to the plot. This doesn't have to be a book about a love triangle, the envy can be about a job, an inanimate object, a family member etc.

Green Eggs and Ham: Choose a children's book of 150+ pages... ok, it can also include Young Adult books ... OR read a book where the main character is Vegetarian or Vegan, the greenest way to eat!

The Emerald Isle: The List of Seven by Mark Frost

Green Berets: Read a book where one of the main Characters are in the military.

Evergreens: Read a book where the title, author's or Main Character's name includes the word "green".

The Green Mile: Read an inspirational story OR a book from the Favorite Magical-Realism Novels or Magical-Realism shelves.
