Surprisingly, mania paused.

Piper planted her feet firmly on the ground.
"No!!" She shouted.
"No!!" She shouted.
(okay got it)Piper collapsed to the ground, and Jason rushed over to her.

"Hey Jason, " Thalia shouted, "I could use a little help here little bro!!"
"Go, help her," Piper gasped."Okay. Sorry Pipes, hang in there."
"Piper, you're just gonna have to hang on!" Thalia cried. "We need to get out of here before this thing wakes up!!!"

Mania was on the ground and her hair was sparking.
"She looks kinda stupid like that," Jason said. He and his sister were standing over her. Thalia snorted.
"You had better hope she didn't hear that," she said.
Mania began to stir.
"Crap. Nico!" Jason yelled.
"What?" Nico called from somewhere off to Jason's right.
"Get the girls out of here!! Take them back to camp. Then send Blackjack back for us. Tell him to wait only until nightfall. If we're not out by then..."
Nico nodded.
"You got it," he said, "but be careful okay?"
Jason nodded. Thalia squeezed Nico shoulder as he passed her and he gave her a small smile.
"Be careful," he said again.
"We will," Thalia promised. "Now go."
Nico and the girls' footsteps had just disappeared down the tunnel when mania sat up, rubbing her head.
"YOU!" She screamed when she saw Thalia.
"Me,"Thalia said and drew her dagger.
Jason didn't wait for mania to stand up. He swung his sword straight for the goddess' head.
"She looks kinda stupid like that," Jason said. He and his sister were standing over her. Thalia snorted.
"You had better hope she didn't hear that," she said.
Mania began to stir.

(should there be repercussions to Mania's death? Like the bluepocalypse even though that sounds terrifying I love blue things should make an earthquake or blackhole or viral insanity? It could attack Camp and create a side plot)

The gleam in Blackjack's eye told Nico he just snorted something offensive. "We have to find Percy and Annabeth before it's too late," Nico said anyway. "We just have to. I can't imagine camp without them and they're my friends."
Blackjack looked at Nico strangely. This was the most emotion he had shown the entire trip.

Blackjack whinnied, saying something along the lines of Get a room!
"Uh... anyways..." Nico said, ignoring Blackjack, "What do we do when we get back to camp?"
"And if he says to just sit and wait?"
(We should have mania come back to life cos she still has to deal with Percy and stuff, plus, she is a goddess)
"So," Nico said. "Anybody got a drachma?"
"It honk I do," piper said digging in her pockets.

"Geez, no wonder you guys are bothered by me and Jason sometimes," piper whispered.

"Okay," Nico said, "Blackjack, take us down by the water. We need some mist."
The horse swooped down over a lake.
What now, darky? He asked. No one answered.
He landed next to the water and Nico and Rachel jumped off.
"It's hot enough here, there should be steam coming off the water." He bent down and sure enough there was
"Here," Rachel said, holding out her hand, "I got it. Oh, Iris, goddess of the rainbow, show me Chiron!" She tossed the drachma into the mist.
It rippled and Chiron's back appeared.
"Chiron!" Piper yelled from atop Blackjack.
He turned. "Oh thank the gods! You are alright. Where are you?"
"We don't know exactly," Rachel said, "but we need some help."
Suddenly another camper came running into the picture.
"Chiron! There's trouble!! A monster is attacking on the left side! I think it's the one that bit Nico!"
"Hold it there!" Chiron shouted, and galloped out of the picture.
Screams could be heard before the image faded. The trio looked at each other in horror.
