I got really scared for a second, but then remembered Tyler and Katy were there so he wouldn't do anything. Or so I hoped. Once I gathered myself I looked at dad and said "You get mad at me for nothing, but you. I never got mad at you! You treated mom and me like crap!"

Then, the thing I though my father, my FATHER, would never do, he did. He slapped me. And that was what really set Tyler off. I'm not even kidding, like Tyler was up in my dads face, screaming. Yelling. Threatening. I was terrified.
"You think you scare me Mr Pecs an Attitude ?", wised my Dad. "I'll have your ass for assault if you so much as breath on me wrong!". He pushed past Tyler and glared at me and Katy...."Get in the godamm car, both of you, NOW!"
"As if I would do what you say." I spat back at him while holding my face.
Dad grabbed my arm and started pulling me towards the car...."Back off son!", he barked at Tyler, "This is family stuff!".
I tried to pull away, but my dad was to strong. He opened the car door, and was about to push me in when Tyler hissed "Let her go or you'll regret it!"
Dad turned on him, rage in his eyes, "Take a telling son! BACK THE FUCK OFF!", and swung a punch which smacked into Tylers guts and doubled him over with an air grasping "OOOOOF!"
When punching Tyler my dad let go of my arm, so I bolted. I grabbed Katy and dragged her to the jeep, I didn't want either of us getting hurt.
My dad, saw what I'd done and began to stomp towards the jeep. I noticed Tyler had left the keys in the ignition.
I slid over to the drivers seat, and started the jeep. I locked the driver side doors. Tyler knew what I meant by this and ran over to the passenger side, and hoped in. Before his door was fully closed I started pulling away.
My dad grabbed and kicked at the car as it moved, but he stumbled and fell to his knees as we accellerated. I watched in the rear view mirror as he got up and shouted and screamed and waved his fists. A tear running down my cheek as we left him behind us.
Tyler looked at me, and said in a sweet voice "Pull over at the gas station a few blocks down sweetheart." I nodded and whispered "Okay," but nothing more than that because I knew if I did I would start crying even harder.
Katy sat, puffy eyed and ashamed in the back of the jeep, "Sorry, sorry, sorry....." she muttered.
"Don't be you know how he gets, you did the right thing. Think if you didn't, he would have really hurt you, at least you brought him to us so he didn't hurt one of us terribly." I said to Katy while I looked at her in the rearview mirror.
"Thank you for under standing....", Katy sighed.
"Let's all head back to mine and discuss what you guys wanna do next....", suggested Tyler, settling back into his alpha male role.

"Sounds good to me." I said, happy we had somewhere to go.
I watched Tyler as he drove us to his place....I kinda wished he had kicked my dad's ass ...but kinda was glad he hadn't. He had been such a hero standing up for me though....wow, talk about my very on knight in shining muscle!
When we pulled up to Tyler's house was when I realized I was meeting Tyler's parents!
"Mom and Dad will be back soon, but they won't mind you both coming in to clean yourselves up and rest a little till you work out what to do.", invited Tyler. Just try and stop me I thought....their house looked awesome!
We went into Tyler's massive house and looked around. Katy started to get back to her old self and joke whispered, "If you married him this would all be yours!".
Then I joked back to her. "What do you mean if, it's more like when."
We raised our eyebrows and burst into giggles....this was more like the old times.
After our giggle fit Tyler lead us to the kitchen. "Take a seat girls I'll make you guys some food."
"oooh, service with a smile!", I grinned. Katy winked and said "we'll need perfect waiting if you want a tip tho....!".
Tyler prepared some open sandwiches with a side salad...'fridge food'. But we ate it hungrily and washed it down with mountain dew.
It was about then that his parents walked in on us feasting on their food....

"This is Clare and Katy Mother...They are my study partners for the maths quiz!", lied Tyler.
"Oh! Well in that case we shall leave you to study....may I suggest BOOKS might help", she snapped as she walked through a door into a room of yapping little chow's".
Katy and I looked at each other, then Tyler..."Math Quiz!",we gawped.
"It was the best I could do at short notice!", he blushed.

"How about we were just hanging out..." I suggested. "Hmm. I never thought of that." Tyler said, dumbfounded.
"No dip." Katy mumbled. Man, I love her.
"At least she doesn't mind you both hanging here now", smiled Tyler. "Let's go to my room to plan".
"Way to go Poindexter! Does that work on all the girls?", laughed Katy, nudging me.
Secretly, I hoped we'd still go to his room though.....

"Oooo!!! We're special, Clair!! Special!!" Katy said, prancing around happily. I laughed under my breath.
Katy was such a putz ! But it didn't stop us following Tyler to his room......YUM !
Tylers room was cool, he had everything ! music, posters, sound system, DVD's and games consoles... "WOW! Go the bank of mom and dad!", whispered Katy into my ear...
"I'm not deaf. But, thanks. I'm an only child. I used to get everything that I wanted. Then, I turned sixteen, and had to find my own job. That's when I met your dad." Tyler said, turning to look at me. "I've been working for him ever since." He told us.
"sorry", I blushed....
He took my hand and kissed it! "Don't be sorry....be mine...", he whispered so that Katy could not hear. OMG ! I nearly wet myself right there on his expensive carpet...

"I don't think now is the time to be discussing this." I blushed a deeper shade of crimson. "Later." I promised.*Holy shit. I made a comment for the first time in ages!!!!*
