Well thanks... You wanna start us off?
Phoenix stood with his arms around Alissa in their apartment. He kissed her temple and smiled to himself. Phoenix couldn't be happier. He was getting married a four months to his mate and the was completely in love with her. Phoenix held Alissa close. "So did you talk to your sister? Is she coming?" he asked. They had been having troubles with convincing Alissa's little sister, Arielle, to come down to help plan the wedding. ((Ya know what's funny? I have another role play where Phoenix and Arielle are siblings. :D))
Alissa looked around their small apartment as she leaned back against Phoenix. She sighed softly and was the happiest person ever. She couldn't wait for their wedding day. "She said she would come for a few days to help with some things." She replied softly. " but Arie... Is not the same as she used to be when we were younger." She said softly ((Haha that's great ))
Phoenix nodded and took her hand, threading their fingers. He knew something devastating had happened in her family a while back but he didn't know what. Phoenix never pushed to learn. All he knew was that every came out a different person. "At least she's coming at all, sweetheart." he said.
Alissa looked at their entwined fingers and smiled just a little bit. She sighed softly and leaned her head against his arm. Sometimes she was still upset over what happened but she didn't want Phoenix to know right then.. It would ruin all of their happiness (and I have to come up with something good) so she just kept quiet about all of it. She nodded a little bit," I know and I'm glad she is coming even if it's just for a few days."
((Yes. That was my intention. xP))Phoebus played with her engagement ring and watched as the diamond caught the light streaming in from one of the windows. He kissed her temple again and sighed softly. "While we're on the subject of family, my dad wants to officiate." he told her cautiously. His father was the alpha of the pack and he didn't like it when they didn't marry within packs. Why he wanted to officiate was beyond him.
((Ohh good... I've got an idea but you can't know it yet)) Alissa watched as Phoenix played with her ring. She smiled a little bit and looking up at him," but my dad wanted to officiate. Ohhh this is going to get interesting. " she muttered. Granted she was from a different pack but they had always worked together so that's why it was fine her and Phoenix were getting married the only problem was both of them were the alphas children
Phoenix let out a frustrated growl and rested his forehead on her shoulder. He muttered to himself for s moment before lifting his head again. "There is no way I'm getting involved in this. My wedding or not, they can hash it out themselves." he declared, holding Alissa closer to him.
Alissa was sort of used to the whole arguing over what would happen when in their wedding," this is getting ridiculous.... It's like our fathers are getting married and not us." He said snuggling into his chest. "Arie was right about one thing." She muttered looking up at Phoenix
Phoenix chuckled softly in agreement and rested his cheek against her hair. "What is that, sweetheart?" Phoenix inquired curiously. He knew she didn't talk about Arie much but the conflict of whether or not she should come seemed to be having Alissa talk about her more often.
Alissa smiled slightly," when I told Arie we were getting married she told me just to tell daddy that we had already gotten married and nothing like this could have happened." She answered. It was the one time Arielle had seemed like her old self
Phoenix laughed and smiled into her hair. He breathed her in and closed his eyes, knowing this was his forever. "That probably would've been smart. If we had wanted to deal with that drama." he pointed out.
Alissa snuggled close to him hugging him a little bit," Yeah but it would be shorter and quicker." She replied looking up at him. "And then they wouldn't be fighting over literally everything." Their fathers fought over every little detail of their wedding and it was making Alissa nuts
Phoenix hugged her back, running his fingers through the ends of her hair. "That' much is true but we wouldn't get to share it with them. They would probably make us do one for them anyways." he stated, looking down at his love.
Alissa sighed softly and snuggled close to him," yeah you are probably right." She said softly kissing his neck. She couldn't wait to get to just relax and get their wedding over with so their fathers didn't fight anymore,"So who's going to tell them that they have to officiate together?"She asked
Phoenix raised a brow. "Together? Alright. Why don't we have our mother's do it? They'll probably take it better from them." he suggested with a small groan. He hadn't thought so much chaos could ensue with just the planning of a wedding. "We just need to get it over with so we can run away." Phoenix says, only partly joking.
Alissa looked up at him," well how else are they both going to be happy?" She asked looking up at him," now that's a great idea.. Why didn't we let them handle everything else so we don't have to?" She asked," ohh Phoenix that would be so much easier."
Phoenix shrugged then considered what she said. As he thought he took her hand and led her to the couch. "Tired of standing." he grumbled playfully and pulled her into his lap. "Do you want them to do it? We still have a lot to plan. They'll probably just choose things for us.
Alissa giggled softly as she followed him. She sat so her shoulder was pressed up against his chest," I guess I don't really care anymore.. I have my dress picked out all I need is my sister to get here to see which bridesmaid dress to get but everything else our moms can take care of they have been dealing with our dads longer than we have."
"If that's what you want, sweetheart." Phoenix said then kissed her softly. "When is your sister coming over?" Nix asked, rubbing his thumbs over Alissa's exposed skin. Phoenix wanted nothing more than for her to be happy.
"See I don't know what I want anymore.. Nix." She said softly before kissing him back gently," Ohhh Arie said she was coming to Oreos or the day after she doesn't know yet." She answered snuggling into him more
Phoenix sighed. "Make up your mind, woman." he growled playfully, wrapping his arms around her waist and holding her close. "Alright. Il sleep on the couch. You two can have the bed." Nix told Alissa and kissed her cheek lightly. "I love you sweetheart." he whispered after a moment.
"What? I have everything I want.... I don't care what the rest of it is." She answered giggling a little at his growl. "Okay... But you know Arie is hard to get along with right now." She said softly. She snuggled back into him and sighed softly," I love you too Nix." She whispered
Phoenix smiled and nuzzled into her neck. He was content to just hold her there all day. Nix twisted and laid back on the couch with her in his arms. He wrapped a leg around hers and kissed the top of her head.
Alissa giggled softly as she laid in his arms. She didn't mind at all that they were just laying around now. She smiled up at him as she slipped her arms around his neck
Nix ran his fingers over her cheek then brushed hair out of her eyes. He wished it could always be like this. Slow and relaxing. He liked escaping from the wedding chaos every now and then.
Alissa looked up at him and smiled a little bit keeping her fingers in his hair. "Why can't everyday be like this?" She asked softly breaking the silence.
"Because pack life doesn't allow it." Nix answered, matter-of-factly. "It's the equivalent to normal people having too many cousins. Except ours are hotheaded and annoying." Phoenix told her with a small chuckle.
Alissa nodded," yeah I know... It would probably have made it easier on us if we didn't come from two different packs." She muttered not that she really cared but it might have caused less stress.
"Yeah, well it doesn't always work that way." Phoenix said, running his hands up and down her back. He knew one pack would've been less stressful. All decisions would be easier. Who would bake the cake? Who officiates? It was driving him crazy.
Alissa laughed a little bit," Yeah I realize that." She muttered burying her face into his chest. She was getting frustrated with everything her father did trying to help out but he making it worse
Nix ran his hands up and down her back then slipped his hands under her shirt and repeated the action on her skin instead. "It never really has, sweetheart." he said, kissing the top of her head.
Alissa sighed softly and snuggled close to him relaxing as he ran his hands over her back," Mmm that feels good." She said softly tightening her arms around his neck
"Good." Nix said, continuing the motion but pressing down a little bit to sort of massage her back. Phoenix nuzzled her hair and pressed a kiss to it. "I'm glad it feels good." he said in return.
Alissa sighed softly and closed her eyes as he started pressing a little harder. She slipped her fingers into his hair and pressed her head against his chest," It does." She said softly
