Phoenix grabbed everything he needed and drove over to Ari and Ali's apartment. He knocked on the door, glancing around. It didn't seem like Ali was there. She was probably with Ash. Phoenix closed his eyes briefly and sighed, clenching his fists behind his back as he waited.

Arielle looked at the door," I'll be right there."She called not thinking that Phoenix would actually show up even after that rant she gave him. Ari walked over to the door and opened it. Her eyes widened slightly as she said," Well look who decided to grace the world with his presence." Ari was not about to start feeling sorry for Nix right then
Phoenix narrowed his eyes at her and her sarcasm. "Well since your clearly not happy to see me, I think I'll just go home." he said seriously, turning to step away from the door. He wasn't gonna put up with stuff like that. Phoenix had come to join her because he knew he needed some time out.
Arielle frowned slightly," Ohh come on Phoenix.. I'm not going to feel sorry for you.. If you wanted that then you should have picked someone else to go out with." She replied walking out the door behind him. Ari wasn't one to be the compassionate person all the time like her older sister was
"I'm not asking you to, Ari. I'm not looking for it either. But you're the one who suggested this so I'm not gonna put up with any crap about me finally leaving the apartment." Phoenix said with a slight scowl as he shrugged his shoulders. Nix still wasn't in the best of moods but was honestly hoping going out would fix that. He just wanted to get everything off his mind.
Ari nodded slightly," fine I'm not going to say anything about it now. That was honestly the only thing I was going to say, but you should prepare yourself for things like that when others see you." She told him as she closed her door and locked it
Phoenix snorted in slight laughter. "I think my countenance is enough to keep everyone away at this point. Except you apparently." he said, a little puzzled why of all people she has been the only one to confront him. Sure, she had only been there to pick something up for Allison but she had just started to fight him about all this.
Arielle snorted a little bit as she laughed," Seriously that might be enough to keep everyone away from you." She replied still laughing a little bit. She didn't know why he was finally coming out of his apartment to hang out with her of all people
"Where do you want to go? I'll drive you." Nix offered. He was used to driving people around so it felt right that he offer to drive her. Phoenix stuck his hands in his pockets then promptly removed one to run a hand through his hair. He jangled his keys in his pocket and stood there a bit awkwardly.
Arielle shrugged a little bit," We can go wherever you want.. I wasn't exactly expecting you to come out so I was just going to go to the bar." She replied watching Nix's nervous or anxious movements
Phoenix sighed softly. "Gotta make it hard on me?" he said teasing her slightly, or trying anyways. "Let's go where you want. You're letting me impose on your night so we'll do what you want." Nix told her.
Arielle laughed softly," I'm always like this so don't think I'm just giving you a hard time," she replied slightly teasing him back," I told you where I was planning on ending up. I was thinking about going somewhere that had good food before though." Ari said shrugging a little bit
Phoenix sighed. "Come on." he said with a nod of his head. He went over to his truck and waited for her before getting into the front seat and starting the vehicle. "Where is it you want to go, Ari?" Nix asked her once she was in the seat beside him.
Ari nodded slightly and followed him to his truck. She climbed in with no problems and settled herself into the passenger seat while he got in and started the truck, "Let's just go to the new restaurant and bar in town." She suggested hoping that now that it wasn't so new there wouldn't be too many people there and hopefully none of their packs would be there either
Phoenix looked over at her and nodded. He pulled his seat belt across his best and began to back out. "That's on Terence St, right?" Nix asked her, wanting to make sure he was taking them to right place. He had already upset her enough he would rather not do it again that day. Or any day for that matter.
Ari nodded a little bit as she buckled herself in," Yeah that's the place I was thinking of." She replied. She wasn't really sure why she had gotten upset with him in the first place but the fact that he was just moping around his house upset her to no end
Phoenix fell silent, not unusual but he wasn't in a good mood like he normally was. "I'm not trying to make you go home, but weren't you supposed to return a week ago?" Nix inquired, almost sure his and Ali's separation has made her stay. He began to think if Ali wondered where Ari was but then realized she was probably with Ash.
Arielle looked over at Nix for a second as he fell silent. She wasn't going to force him to talk or anything not if he didn't want to. She looked back out the window as he questioned her," Yeah I was, but a certain person asked me to stay longer plus I'd rather not go home and face dad without Ali there to explain everything." She replied only slightly annoyed that Ali was avoiding going home for that very reason
