((Whatever you want.))
Emerson tried to make the walk home quick, and once she got to the shop she unlocked and went inside, leaving the vodka bottle on the counter and climbing up the ladder to go take a shower. It had probably been a mistake to ask Bones out in the first place, anyway, she decided, hoping the water to wash away the thoughts of the night (or at least maybe a bit of the alcoholic smell). Once she was out, she changed into an oversized t-shirt and vowed to take the next day off before falling into bed to sleep.

((What do you want to happen next, then?))
((Maybe his father or sister or someone comes into town to visit him, for seemingly innocent reasons? Or Abby could try to talk to him more?))
((Haha okay. So, his father or sister, then?))
The next morning, -er, a few hours later- Emerson awoke after an unsettling fitful sleep, considering her drunkenness. Her head ached, and it was all she could do to pull herself out of bed to make a pot of coffee before stumbling to her closet. She grabbed a black button-up and dark denim jeans, although there was no reason to look nice. She planned to spend the day reading, or preparing out-of-town orders.

The next morning Bones pushed himself out of bed and took a shower before getting dressed. He was exhausted but luckily didn't have a hang over. He went downstairs and feed Copper before making some coffee and eating an apple. He finished the apple quickly and tossed the core in the trash. Then he poured himself some coffee and went into the living room to sit down.
((Do you want me to switch to her POV an write as her?))
Emerson drank an entire carafe of coffee within an hour and a half, and was so buzzed that she got three orders done within that time, only messing one up before she decided to head up and start another pot of coffee. She hadn't ever drunk that much in such a short time, not in which she could remember, but it made to keep her busy and get her mind off of Bones and last night's incident.

Bones finished off the contents in his cup and got up to put it in the sink. Just as he started rinsing it out he heard a knock at his door. He sighed softly and set the cup in the sink before walking over to his door and answering it. He smiled when he saw his sister standing on the doorstep. "Hey, what are you doing here" he asked.
Jacqueline smiled and hugged her brother, "I talked to Abby" she said and chuckled softly before stepping around him and walking into the kitchen. "Figured my big brother could use some help" she said and pulled herself up onto the counter and looked at him. "What were you thinking" she asked and shook her head slightly.
Bones shook his head slightly "Of course you did" he said and followed her into the kitchen. "I was thinking that I didn't care what our ass-whole of a father thought" he said.
Jacqueline nodded slightly, "As valid of a point that is, he's still going to kill you" she said and turned slightly. She opened one of the cupboards and smiled before pulling out a bag of chips. She opened it up and started eating,
Bones chuckled softly and pulled himself up onto the counter as well, "Don't worry about it. Pretty sure we're not going to go out again anyway" he said and ate a few chips as well.
"And why is that" Jacqueline asked, "You do something stupid?" she asked and looked over at him pointedly.
"No, she was being crazy" Bones said and couldn't help but smile.
Jacqurline sighed softly and wiped her fingers off before slipping off the counter. "Come on" she said and pulled him off the counter and towards the door. "I have somethings to do and you're coming with me." she said and looked back at him. "We can continue to talk about your women problems in the car." she said.
"Women problems, I don't have women problems" Bones said and grabbed his keys off the counter before she could pull him out of the kitchen and then the house. He locked his door behind him and sighed softly before walking over to his truck. He climbed into the driver's seat while his sister got into the passenger's seat. "Where too" he asked kind of annoyed that she wanted him to take her somewhere. Then again this was a lot better then sitting around doing nothing in his house.
"Just go to town, I'll give you direction when we get closer" she said and looked over at her brother. "So what'd you do to screw it up"
"I didn't do nothing, she was just being a bitch" Bones said and rolled her eyes.
Jacqueline snorted and shook her head slightly, "Had to be a reason for her to turn it on" she said with a small laugh.
"Well it was probably Abby trying to kill her. But I told her I had it handled and apparently that was offensive" he said and rolled his eyes.
"Ah yeah, well she probably figured you were just trying to be a manly man" she said with a smile. "You know like. Hulk angry, Hulk smash" she said in a masculine voice.
Bones looked over at her like she was crazy, "I have no idea what you're talking about" he said.
"Course you don't, you're a man" she said with a small shake of her head. "That's why you're going to have to go talk to her" she said and directed him to park by the side walk. She hoped out of the car and waited for her brother.
"I am not going to talk to her" Bones said, mostly because he didn't know what he was going to say and well he just didn't want to talk to her.
"Okay fine" she said and shrugged slightly before dragging him down the side walk.
"Where the hell are you going" Bones asked kind of annoyed again.
"Just shut up" Jacqueline said and dragged him across the street and over to Emerson's store. She knew where is was mostly because she recognized the name Emerson, and Abby's been watching the angel for a while. She just decided to attack last night because a fir of jealous rage came over her.
"I told you I'm not talking to her" Bones said angrily.
"Yeah and I told you to shut up" Jacqueline snapped.
Bones walked across the street but pulled his arm out of her hand once they were on the side walk. "Why do you care so much anyway"
"Because other then Abby, Joan," she said with a smile, "she the only girl you've met who you haven't killed after having sex with them" he said.
"We haven't had sex" Bones said and crossed his arms.
"See now you're just proving my point" she said with a smirk and walked into the shop, not caring if it was open, or if her brother followed her in. "Hello"
((Sorry, I don't remember if I gave her a name or not. So I kind of just gave her a random one.))

((I don't think you had; it's cool. I like the name.))
Emerson had finally managed to calm down on the coffee, thanks muchly to getting distracted on an inner battle on whether or not she should get Jonas to hook her up with dope. It was probably a really, really bad idea. She hadn't done drugs since she'd been with Kylist, and that was old news. Something, however, distracted her and made her head shoot up from concentrating on grinding herbs together in a bowl. Demons. She could tell they were outside her store on the sidewalk, and she caught a flash of Bones' golden brown curls, along with someone else's before her door was thrown open and a pretty woman came in, looking like she had a business plan.
Emerson gave her a grimace-smile. "Oh, hi, I'm sorry, but we're closed today. I'll be open tomorrow, though," she promised, which was stupid. It was Saturday. Sunday should have been optimum break day for an angel.

Emerson gave her a grimace-smile. "Oh, hi, I'm sorry, but we're closed today. I'll be open tomorrow, though," she promised, which was stupid. It was Saturday. Sunday should have been optimum break day for an angel.

Emerson didn't like the way the woman looked at her, even before she called herself Bones' sister. No... Why was she here? The angel looked at the demon's hand warily a moment before taking to shake. "I am Emerson, yes." You could a least say something not rude or standoffish, she chided herself. "It's nice to meet you. Is something the matter?" She really couldn't imagine what a visit from Bones' sister was warranted by. She noticed that they had the same nose, which was weird to note, on her part.

Emerson leaned back behind the counter. "I'm sure Abby means well, but if she wants to kill me, she better try it while I'm not drunk. I'd rather fight." She sighed in turn. "And I know he's an idiot; he obviously doesn't know how to treat women he's not going to kill." Unless that was his plan. She didn't want to consider that. "If he doesn't want to die, then he shouldn't be around me," she said with a shrug, as if she were trying to convince herself she didn't care either way. "His choice."

Emerson pointed to what she could see of Bones' curly head outside the shop. "He's not putting up much of his own fight. I mean, not to sound like a dick or anything, but if I don't see that he wants to still... I dunno, be around me, he'll have to put in a but more effort." She stopped, looking back to Jacqueline. "Wait, your father? He's the one who would hurt Bones or I?"

"He's an angel hunter," Evangeline repeated, her face slightly blank. It wasn't in a dumb way, more like, 'What the hell did I get myself into?' she leaned into the counter, drumming her fingers on the wood for a second. "Well, I guess he has reason to be so angry, if that's who your father is." Though she absolutely would not put up with him taking it out on her. "Does he expect me to apologize?" she asked after a moment.

Emerson really didn't want to know what word Bones had used, so she shrugged and stood up from her stool. "I guess I'll go talk to him, then," she said, taking a deep breath before heading out onto the sidewalk. She turned to face Bones and crossed her arms. "Well, I won't apologize for wanting to know what's going on, especially if whatever this," she gestured between the two of them, "is, is going to continue. But I handled it poorly."

"You shouldn't have to do that on your own, but I get it if that's what you want. But if it still involves me, then I need to know." Emerson took another step to Bones. "Take, for instance: You, the demon I've gone out with a couple of times is the son of an angel hunter. Don't you think that would have been good information for me to have?"

"Hmm, well, I don't intend on allowing you to get killed," Emerson informed him, taking anther step forward and holding his hands in her own. "Got it? Also, I'd appreciate it if you would try to tell your Abby to not kill me. That'd be nice, anyway." She gave the slightest smirk.

Emerson leaned against the brick siding of her shop and ran a hand through her hair. "Just as long as he doesn't find out, then. Just tell me what I should do, if I should." She sighed, watching a couple across the street on the sidewalk. "You don't think Abby will tell him, then?"

"Yeah, we will," Emerson confirmed. She wondered why Abby was so 'obsessed' with Bones, but it wasn't that hard to figure out. She smirked and pushed off of the wall. "Do you and your sister want to stay for lunch?" she questioned, arching an eyebrow.

Jacqueline walked out of the shop and smiled, "So what we having?" she asked joking. "And yeah I was listening the whole time" she said.
Bones chuckled slightly "Of course you were" he said.
Emerson smirked at Jacqueline and decided she liked her. "Well, what sounds good? I can make soup, sandwiches, salad..." She shrugged, ushering the two back into the shop and closing the door behind them. She led them up into her loft-apartment.

Bones walked over to the counter and leaned back against it, "She's pretty much an apothecary" he said and shrugged slightly.
"Oh cool" Jacqueline said and looked over at Emerson. "You have any booze" she asked after a few moments.
Emerson smirked at Jacqueline. "Yeah, the liquor cabinet is right over there;" she pointed to it under the counter. "Take whatever." She began pulling meat and vegetables and chicken stock from her pantry and fridge. "Is soup okay?" She eyed Bones, since Jacqueline had said he didn't care.

"Um, yeah, I have two brothers." Emerson grabbed a cutting board and quickly chopped everything up before grabbing some spices from her pantry. "But I haven't seen one in about ten years. The other.... I saw sometime last year, I think." She shrugged, gritting her teeth. Family wasn't something she wanted to throw away, but the two of them had kind of disowned her after her choices with Kylist.

"Liar" Jacqueline said as she popped up from behind the counter with a bottle of vodka. "He's lying" she said and looked over at Emerson. "We have another brother, my twin actually. But he's dead" she said and took a long swig from the vodka bottle.
Bones flinched slightly when she said their brother was dead. Seeing as he was the one that killed him. "Nice Jacqueline" he said and sighed softly.
"What I'm just being honest" Jacquline said and rolled her eyes. "They guy had it coming going to work for Ludo" she said. She kind of hated him for what he did, destroying what little family that had left. Also Ludo is also famous for making his new recruits go and kill family members as initiation.
Emerson watched the interaction between Jacqueline and Bones with interest, thinking that was what Bones had been avoiding the couple of times she had pressured him about his past. She finished the veggies and dropped them in a pot that had already been boiling broth. "Who's Ludo?" she questioned, even though she knew it was probably dangerous water to cross with Bones. That being known, she aimed the question at Jacqueline.

Jacqueline noted the glare and decided to leave out a few details, "Pretty much a demon version of a gang banger" she said and shrugged slightly. 'Only like a million times worse then human ones" she said and smiled small.
Bones sighed again and looked away from his sister and just at the wall behind Emerson.
Emerson's blue eyes flicked from Jacqueline to Bones, and decided to drop the subject, though she was curious enough to question the sister later when Bones wasn't around. She finished cutting up the meat and put it in the pot as well, shaking smoked salt and other spices into it before cranking up the heat and lifting herself up onto the counter, studying Bones' annoyed face.

It took every muscle in Emerson's body to not laugh, instead rolling her eyes. "I'm actually not a dealer, believe it or not. I'm the type of dealer that tries to get people out of drugs. Well, for money, anyway. It's not that I care about it." She glanced at Bones, wondering if he remembered that day Jonas had been around the two of them. "I actually sell to Jonas, but it's not an elixir or the sort. Just something to mask the smell. He's a little psycho and demanding."

"Ugh" Bones said and shook his head slightly."Really Jackie, don't need to hear about your sex life" he said and shivered again.
Jacqueline laughed softly and smiled, "But why it's so interesting" she said and then turned to Emerson. "But no seriously he has like the best weed" she said with a smile. "Not really the point though" she said and pursed her lips slightly. "Ah right, what do you sell here. Like Herbs and Elixirs that help people or something, cause that sounds terrible"
Emerson grimaced-smirked, really not caring that Jacqueline voiced her sex life, rather than Jonas'. The guy grossed her out. She leaned her head back onto the cabinet door and shrugged. "A lot of stuff, really, but it's mostly an apothecary to the mortal world. I sell oddities that can't be found just anywhere for angels and demons." A whisper of a smirk appeared on her lips. "And I'm sure helping people sounds terrible to you, but you do have to remember that I'm an angel."

Bones chuckled and shook his head, "So visiting me is just you being nice" he asked.
"No fixing your girl problems are" Jacqueline said with a smirk and patted his shoulder lightly. "Dude sucks at relationships. Only has had one other real one, if you guys even consider this a relationship" she said and shrugged slightly. "Anyway, Emerson you want to go shopping with me later"
Emerson glanced at Bones, about to tease him and ask whether he considered it a relationship or not when Jacqueline asked about going shopping. She closed her mouth, thinking it over. She wasn't really the shopping for fun type but it seemed like it would be fine with Bones' sister. She shrugged. "Sure, why not? Tonight?" she questioned, hopping off of the counter to stir the soup.

"Really Jacqueline" Bones said and shook his head slightly.
"What I'm curious"
Emerson wasn't sure if she was just trying to aggravate Bones or not, but she didn't even turn around to face them as she shook her head and continued to stir. "Nope. No kissing yet," she replied with a shrug of her shoulder. "Though I'm not sure what the problem is; I'm a great kisser. Maybe your brother is self-conscious."
Bones climbed into his truck and tossed the scotch bottle into the back seat. Then he just started the engine and back out of the parking lot. He sped down the road, going his normal sped even though he was kind of drunk. He got back to his place quickly and parked slightly on his lawn when he pulled up into the driveway. He really didn't give a shit though ans just got out and went inside the house.
