Book 1: The Long Walk
Every year, on the first day of May, 100 teenage boys meet for an event known throughout the country as "The Long Walk". As the boys pass through different villages, people gathered in the streets to cheer them on and to show their support.
Book 2: The Complete Persepolis
When the Shah's reign finally ended, the country had the biggest celebration in its history; underneath this line is an illustration of a lot of people cheering and happy. There were also several scenes in the book where people gathered to party, but since this act is prohibited, it seemed more like a celebration of their "freedom".
