Still on "Naughty in Nice", but I thought I'd post in about what I thought was, amongst other things, quite funny so far... The rather frightening French housekeeper's name is "Lapiss" and the policeman with the rather large feet is called "Lafitte"... Simply love the choice of names!

I think many phones do that so I do both when I create a link.

I used to read her books but skipped several, limited library. What ever happened to her second husband, the police detective? I liked him.
Just finished the Nina Quinn books by Heather Webber. Now on Darynda Jones' Grim Reaper books. Not what I expected. Way better but not cozy.
Just finished Murder on Ghost Walk. Not the best book ever but I will probably try another one. If this was a first book it was pretty good.
Just finished Kitty Kitty Bang Bang. I enjoyed it. I have like all three book in this series. Back to my reread of Heller's Punishment to get ready for the release of Heller's Decision next week. NOT cozy but I love this series.
Dog Collar Crimes by Adrienne Giordano who has just publish this first book in a new almost cozy series featuring a dogwalker/doggie designer whose family are "connected". She does not wanted to be connected with organized crime and has built a life of her own that collapse when she lost her job in a merger. Now she is trying to make ends meet and her doggie designs have taken off literal as well as figuratively someone keeps dognapping her customers and then returning them. Humor and intelligent mystery with a mild "hot" factor. I look forward to more. I love her security romance mysteries but this is a much lighter mystery.
Just finished a British cozy, Canal End by Alex Barr. I don't often enjoy British stories but this was really good. I got it as a freebie from Amazon so I read it without reading the first one. Will be going back for that.
I'm still reading Joanne fluke series and Julie Hyzy series, but now I have added Krista Davis to my reading.
I'm reading The Fire by Katherine Neville. It is the sequel to The Eight that I read years ago. Neville's writing doesn't insult one by giving (or repeating) too much information. Her plots are intricate and well-researched. At times I wish I had an advanced degree in history to winnow historical fact from plot invention. Altogether a great read.Sharon Burch Toner, sharonburchtoner.com
About to start the Farm Fresh series by Paige Shelton. Saw 6 books in the used bookstore yesterday. Read great reviews on Goodreads and Amazon so I bought them all. I am a big fan of Laura Childs and Joanne Fluke so these sounded right "up my street" as they say.
I am enjoying "Buried in a Bog"
By Sheila ConnollyAlso:
Crocodile on the Sandbank by Elizabeth Peters
But having a hard time getting into it.
Also Reading:
Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay
I am reading "The Diva Haunts the House" by Krista Davis. I actually bought it last year but never got around to reading it. I figure it's a good Halloween read.
I'm reading A Brush With Death by Elizabeth J. Duncan. This is the second in the Penny Brannigan series, set in Wales. I'm enjoying it!
Louisiana Longshot by Jana Deleon
I've read the first chapter...I like it so far...it reminds me of the movie "Miss Congeniality" with Sandra Bullock.
I'm reading Silver Screamby Mary Daheim. This is the second book from Daheim's Bed-And-Breakfast series I'm reading. I have a lot of catching up to do with the series.
Just finished three back to backWedded Blintz (Lexy Baker #7) Dobbs, Leighnn
To Love and To Perish (Annabelle Archer, #3)
Durham, Laura
Season for Murder (Esposito Series #5)Griffin, J.M.
Definitely the best of the series for each of them, but not surprise that the writers get better as they go.
Now reading a JA Jance, Ali Reynolds book Deadly Stakes. Not a cozy.
listening to Endless Night by Agatha Christie and reading Chili con Carnage by Kylie Logan on my kindle.
