Candace wrote: "Any good?"I am only 21 pages in but it is holding my attention which is a good sign. But so far I like it.
I went on a non-cozy run that featured a lot of sarcastic main characters (I caught up on both Junior Bender (by Timothy Hallinan) and Elvis Cole (by Robert Crais), and two new books: The Detective and the Pipe Girl (by Michael Craven) and Dear Daughter (by Elizabeth Little.) I enjoyed them all and would recommend if you love books with very strong character voices.I decided to go cozy again for my next one and just started Mother's Day Out by Karen MacInerney. Looking forward to the change of pace.
Check out my new cozy mystery, and let me know what you think!- Amazon –

It got a rave review from Danielle Urban of Universal Creativity Digital Magazine below.
Paper Doll, is a fabulous read with a compelling story. The story is about a women who was a famous actor as a child whom was attacked when she was 18. Now older and a mother she comes back to face her past and with the help of a friend, tries for acting once more. This book is an intriguing mystery that readers won't want to miss out on. So many suspects and secrets that everyone is hiding. Joe Cosentino knows how to keep his readers interest with every page. His characters pop to life and are realistic. It's easy to connect with his main character as the novel's events unfold before the reader. I enjoyed reading this book! A very interesting read indeed! I definitely would recommend those who love a good mystery with a romance and suspense to pick up this novel! Paper Doll is a book that should be read! I rate this novel a 5 out of 5 stars!
Just finished reading Shoot First, the delightful third installment in Patricia McLinn's "Caught Dead in Wyoming" mystery series. Each book is better than the last, although you should definitely read them in order.
I'm about to read:Baker, Deb (2013-11-08). Murder Grins and Bears It (A Gertie Johnson Murder Mystery) (p. 4). . Kindle Edition.
This is the 2nd book in the series. I loved the first one!
Hi Tracy! The great thing about coming late to a series is I don't have to wait for the next book to come out. I have plenty to read while the author is at work!
