; really enjoyed it - more than #6. And, a short freebie:
. My new (almost 2 months old) Kindle died last night. :( So, I'm back to reading on my iPod/iPad for a bit. Bummer.
That is so not fun Steph. What do you do to those poor things for them to let you down in only 2 months? Do impacts tests or something?

I know! I was so looking forward to the long battery life and convenience of the Kindle on the plane rides, but oh well. I'll have my iPad.
Thanks, Regina. :) Timing of it sucks. But, I'll get a new one before too long.
LOL! Hubby said I killed it b/c it couldn't keep up with my incessant reading. ;)
Oh, and I'm listening to
as I clean and sort.

Regina....What do you think of them?
Dee, they are really quick reads. I skim a lot of the pages that are the inner monologues of the female and male characters -- too much inner thought/conflict that I am not interested in. But the sex scenes are really well done, the tension and attraction between the H/h is built up nicely. I liked the first and second better than the third, but I intend to keep reading. I like the setting (small town, rural area on a lake, high school friends are returning home to start anew). These are quick, fun, comfort reads for me and really good when I am experierncing readers block or am traveling and need something not to deep but nicely distracting. So, will these change your life and be the best thing you ever read? No. But they are fun. :)

I do have a bit of a block at the moment and can't seem to find the emthusiasm to read very much, which is very unlike me. I do know that it has nothing to do with the book as it is a well loved author and one that I seem to have waited eternity for! So think it just might be mix of me and fact that I have been really tired lately, so picking up something that doesn't need a lot effort/consentration might be the thing that I need!
I read

which I've been enjoying.

Got through a bunch of audiobooks while packing:
and really enjoyed them all.Read:
- frustrated by Abby, but still enjoyed the story.Still working my way through
, which I'm enjoying.
Couldn't wait any longer and finished
- 4.5 stars. If you've gotten this far in the series then you must be a fan, so of course I was going to like this book. Really enjoyed the additional emotional insights we get on Trent, Quen and Al. I was surprised at some of the really dark places Kim Harrison went - this one certainly isn't for the faint at heart. I also started to get annoyed at how many times Rachel says she's sorry (a reflection perhaps of those dark places Harrison goes, but still) and I sortof wish that Rachel would have a solo kick-butt magic moment, but maybe the storyline is more about what people can accomplish together rather than alone. I will definitely be waiting for the next installment.
Nice mix there, Miss Lethal. ;)I finished
and really enjoyed it. Anxious to see how the trilogy ends with Pretty When She Destroys later this year.Started listening to
