My computer was poorly so I haven't been on GR that much but it's all better now!I just got an email from BD that
has been released from the publishers! I've started Endgame recently but I've had to finish some library books such as
(which is the last book of the series), so I haven't been able to get stuck into it yet.
Done with
...and really tying my hand behind my back to not start the next Godwars series.Started on
for a change of pace and re-listening to
.
Thanks Sandra! I was a bit lost for a while :)Which one are you most looking forward to? I've been waiting for
but it seems it's been pushed back :'(Val, do you have to read her 'Blood Destiny' series first?
I need to reread Cassie Palmer as well but I stupidly got about 20 books from the library!

Yes! You have to read the 'Blood Destiny' series first because the author has an insane number of characters introduced (like a huge # plus family ties and relations). All the series are spin-off like...you don't want to start in the middle because the author does a great job recap with a minimum of fuss but big info dumps are not her thing.
I'm not sure I'll reread everything of the Cassie Palmer book but the next book is out soon.
Thanks Val, I think I have 'Blood Destiny' somewhere on my Kindle so I'll have to make time for it, especially as you did steer me right with 'The Captive' series! I really liked those books :)I'm planning to reread the whole Cassie Palmer series ready for the new one, though I doubt I'll have time to read Dory. I like to go back and read my favourite scenes (they are my feel-good books) but I'm not sure if I've actually reread the whole thing. I'm not really a rereading person but for KC, I'll make an exception - especially as there's so much to miss/forget!
Josie, BD is saying 30 Nov for
and its saying 102 days till my copy comes ;)As to what I'm most looking forward to? Well, I'm not up to date with any of them, though, I'm only 1 book behind in each of Midnight Liasions & Elemental Assassins. So both of them, if you don't count Cassie Palmer's
Yes, Tempt the Stars trumps all! :PMan, how disappointing. Another 3 months, I wonder why it was changed from August.
I am so excited to see what you all think of Perdition!!I just started
I had been waiting until the next was to be released and the author just announced that
is going to be released on 8/30!

Yeah, Blood Wager was a freebie as well as Demon Lost at one point in time (like over the last 2 years or something). It's the kind of series I can't stop reading because they always finish in a mini cliff-hanger at the end and the 4th book in the 'Blood Destiny' series goes twilight zone on you.
I need to start ALEX CRAFT. Hubby gifted me the first book on Audible. So, I'll try to get to it soon. Seems to be a favorite of many.Read:
and really liked them.

How was Sanctum, Steph? I've been hearing good things about this one. Planning to start that soon.

I really liked it, Preethi. They were addicting reads. I couldn't put them down or stop talking about them when I had to :) Of the three (one being a short), I liked Sanctum the best.
I just finished
and I really like this book a lot more than I thought I would. I am now reading
and
because I have kid of gotten into a action/mystery mood.
Just finished a re-read of
because I read
earlier in the week and I needed a Pia & Dragos hit. Now I can't wait for the next book
which is out 5 Nov, though Aryal isn't my fav character, I'm looking forward to Quentin though ;)
Ditto. I'm definitely more interested in Quentin. Hopefully Aryal will grow on me when I learn more about her.I've started
Just finished
. I got the freebie a while back and bought the audio because the whispersync deal was very cheap. But I understand there's a new ending so I'll check my old copy and see how it changed. The characters in the book weren't bad but the romantic suspense plot was out of this world crazy. So you want to get a hold on some people and some papers and you think the best way to get that accomplished is to hijack a plane full of passengers? In this day and age, no less? What a about an old fashioned B&E mixed with kidnapping? Wouldn't that make more sense?
At least the narration was well done so no complaints there.
LOL. Really?? A hijacking?? Smells a bit of desperation to go for the bigger adrenaline rush to me. Sometimes I just wonder what these authors are
Just finished
, hope you enjoy it. Is this the last of the series??Currently reading:
and listening to
Also read:
and
, abs abs and more abs... ;)

Just finished Sanctum, Steph. Really loved it. Somehow, the name 'Malachi' reminded me of a wizened old university professor with white hair, at first... :)Don't know why!
Glad that was not the case.

I was over the moon when my NetGalley req for
was approved. Typically this publisher rej my requests. Wooooohoooo! I think everyone following the series will enjoy it. I did. But, I still like Dory (Dorina Basarab) more. ;)Glad you liked Sanctum, Preethi. Will you be continuing the series? I also read 1.5 & 2, but enjoyed the first the best so far. I'm anxious for #3, but no word on when it'll be out. #2, Fractured, was available on NetGalley last month, if you're a member you could request it.
I've got a lot going on IRL, so I've had less read time than I'd like, but I did read a freebie
and really liked it - more than expected. A Zombie Western. :) I'm reading (or trying to find time to read)
and
.
Lis wrote: "Just finished Blood Bond , hope you enjoy it. Is this the last of the series??"Forgot to answer ya, Lis. I am not sure if that was the last book or not. Certainly could'a been. But, I thought the one before that could'a been too. So, I'm hoping there'll be more, but was happy with how that one ended in case there aren't. You? (view spoiler)
I've been ALL over the place lately. Now I have 5 books going at the same time! (Usually I have two but 5 is just too much!)
.I'm going to make an effort this week to finish at least a couple of them.
I can't wait for
but it's been so long I need to read the others to freshen up my memory. I really need to read the Dorina series! So many books to read!!
I'm currently listening to
. It's okay, I think the next one I will read though. I'm not a huge fan of the narrator. I'm also reading
but the newest October Daye novel just came out today so I'll probably put it aside and read that instead.
I can't wait for
either!How is
, Steph? I'm looking foward to starting that series as well. I loved Sirantha Jax.I just started on
, which is good so far.
D.G. wrote: "I've been ALL over the place lately. Now I have 5 books going at the same time! (Usually I have two but 5 is just too much!)"LOL! I hear ya, DG! If I get into more than 2-3 at a time (usually two books and one audio) I'm overwhelmed and can't finish any. Good luck!
Nichole wrote: "I can't wait for

Absolutely!
I re-read the last two chapters of Hunt the Moon before starting Tempt the Stars. When I got the end of HtM, I remembered the big cliff and was SO glad I had TtS to jump into next. Buuuuut, I'm sad to report there is a bit of cliffhanger in that one as well. Not as painful as with HtM, but still sucks it wasn't entirely wrapped up. Now we gotta wait another ... what? Years? Dunno, but either way, Ick!
Kerstin wrote: "How is

I love that it's new, but still set in Jax' world (30-40 yrs in future). Jael from Wanderlust and Doubleblind is the hero. I'm really liking the heroine, Dred. Slow going b/c of RL stuff, otherwise I'm sure I'd have finished it by now.
Oh, and, I am anxious to read PWSD. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.
Steph, I finished Pretty When She Destroys today and absolutely loved it! It's as action-packed and exciting as the previous books and has some great character developments for pretty much each member of Amaliyas' circle. And something I never thought I'd say...I really liked Samantha in this one.
Steph wrote: "Forgot to answer ya, Lis. I am not sure if that was the last book or not. Certainly could'a been. Bu..."Very good ending to Blood Bond, extremely pleased with the wrap up of characters. Hope it's not the last, but OK if it is too. With the new characters added she has several directions to explore. Only negative (view spoiler)

I fell in love with Frater's vamps in 2009 and was thrilled when she decided to make it a series (trilogy?). I've got to read #0.5 and #3.

I feel the same. Hope it's not the end, but ok if it is. And, I agree ... (view spoiler)
Steph wrote: "Sounds really good. I fell in love with Frater's vamps in 2009 and was thrilled when she decided to make it a series (trilogy?). I've got to read #0.5 and #3. ..."Yes, unfortunately it's just a trilogy, I would have liked to read a little more about them.
I've just read #0.5 as well and really enjoyed it! Aimee and Cassandra were two of my favourites, so it was nice to find out a bit more about them.
Steph wrote: "Hope you like it, Val. :)"Really liked it. I hope it's not the last but pretty much all the loose ends are tied up, at least it felt like that. (view spoiler).
LOL! Agreed, Val! :DI am in need of a vacation, but since I can't take one I'm traveling through my reads. :D
I'm in Edinburgh listening to
, then I'm in Auckland reading
Best type of travel and it's jet-lag free.
