I am reading
and
Went to a rummage sale at my daughter's preschool yesterday & picked up some murder mysteries & a couple books from the Dresden Files. Books for 50 cents makes me feel like I won the lotto...lol

I am taking a break and going to read some Romances I starting Claim The Night by Rachel Lee and Wolf Whisperer by Karen Whiddon

Darcy that is far to logical :-)
I finished
and I liked it a lot. It was better than the first one in the series, imo. We get to see a lot more of the other angels & there was an appearance from William from LOTU. You get some more info on his history & a glimps of where part of his story is headed. Also a brief reference to Kane's situation. Seems like the two worlds are going to continue to overlap. This book's couple was mostly romance & little sex which combined with the almost YA feel to The Last Kiss Goodnight makes me wonder if she's taming down all her stories? Unual to see autors getting more conservative as their books go on. This book was a long way away from the LOTU books, especially some of the first ones like Reyes story. We shall see where she heads......
Alisa, I'd say she's just complying with Harlequin standards. They have strict guidelines for how erotic etc they can get.

Okay, so I finally finished
. I just couldn't get into the first half..it dragged on and on, but once it got going it was good. So my son asked me to read
and I figure I'll read it until I do the buddy read for
.

It's kind of funny all the publishers started off with a huge website, then came the twitter accounts followed by the Facebook accounts and now they're all creating blogs for their different divisions. I find this to be a very interesting trend.

which I haven't read much of either but they both seem good so far."I loved legend, but I didn't recognize it a first because of the different cover. I like it better than the original.

I never ended up picking up the third.
Dawn wrote: "I want to like steampunk but I just never seem to. I want to try and read

(I don't think that's the correct order however)

That is good to know but I like Cherie Priest so I thought she would appeal to me. I own the The Iron Dukeand The Native Star so I will be sure to check those out.
I loved the Iron Duke. It's a touch naughty, but I loved it. I need to read the sequel. I'm pretty sure I own it, but haven't seen it lately. May need to search.

Lisarenee, I am liking it so far. I wasn't sure about the whole zombie thing but it is different from other zombie books.
I just finished the first story in
and apparently I will be the only person around who didn't like it. Hate when that happens. Tossed it back in the tbr pile & will give the second story at try at a later date. Got
in the mail today so that will be my next read.
Finished
which I enjoyed a lot more than the first one and
which I just loved. I really like reading about couples with history.

I know. It gets to the heart of it. If a loved one died, but didn't totally how would you feel? They're still them just, well, different and yeah, dead. It gets rather deep. Then what if you met this amazing person but they were a zombie? Sounds totally creepy, but I felt the author amazingly pulls it off.

I think that's the genius of her writing you totally forget what he is and just view him as a person. The emotions shine through and are believable.
Started
last night. Spent today wondering if it's too late to go back to school to become a meterologist......LOL.
Sandra wrote: "Nearly finished
. A lot of fun in a Saturday morning Cartoon kinda way :D"I liked the series.
I recently finished
which I liked. I had read some reviews that said it was a confusing world but I didn't find that at all. It's got a vamp world unique to this series but no more complicated than BDB or Midnight Breed. The characters were likable & there were some lol lines in it. I will definately read the others. I'm also have way through
and it's just ok. The story itself is fine but it's like I'm reading Fifty Shades of Grey again. It's really almost the same story instead of a legit business man he's shady. Other than that same story. I have no one to blame but myself on this. I always fall into the hype about this author's books. I read all these things about how great they are, decide I must be missing something, read one & then don't like it. This is third time. Geez apparently I don't learn quickly. And as the icing on my stupid cake I bought the second book in this series at the same time I bought this one because they were on a great sale. If I bought it I'll make myself read it at some point. In the future if any of you hear me saying I'm thinking of reading something of this author's slap my hands & don't let me do it. I'm gonna need tough love.......lol
I've heard lots of happy reviews for her other books, but one of my friends called this one a knockoff of a knockoff of 50 Shades. So you're not alone Alisa.
Sandra wrote: "I've heard lots of happy reviews for her other books, but one of my friends called this one a knockoff of a knockoff of 50 Shades. So you're not alone Alisa."The knock off comment is funny. Yes she is very popular but she's just not for me. The first one I read was
which people LOVE. In that book the heroine has been having sex for a year w/the hero who's name she doesn't even know. He sneaks in her house at night, they have sex, then he leaves. WTH? I can take out there stuff if it's paranormal but when it's supposed to be an every day love story it creeps me out. Plus in the one I'm reading he makes her call him "Daddy" in the bedroom. That doesn't work for me. Makes me feel dirty......and not in a good way......
