I think Allegiant was the worst one for me, it was so slow in the middle. I had to read a couple of chapters then switch to something else to get through it.

I am so sorry. I hope wherever he is, he is peaceful. I hope you are doing okay and can recover from this grief (honestly, staying strong is just fiction. I wanted to cry like a baby when my father passed away, and I did). If you need anything, I am here.

I want to read Dangerous Creatures (Dangerous Creatures, #1) by Kami Garcia but have not finished The Caster Chronicles could I still read Dangerous Creatures?

It's best not to. There are spoilers for the caster chronicles in dangerous creatures.

Oh, well, that kind of gives it away, yes! :P I haven't read any of the author's books, but would like to, I just don't know where to start.

Tara Ellis | 33 comments Sometimes I wonder if Nora Roberts is human...or has clones or something. I mean, how is it even possible to put out SO many books? Although, I must say that even though I don't really read romance, I have liked several of her novels.

Can you listen to an audiobook or something instead?

The first classic I ever read was Jane Eyre. My gran bought me it, and I thought I'd never read it. Picked it up on a rainy sunday afternoon and got totally hooked! I think I was about 12 or 13? Anyway, that one might be good ☺

message 4690: by Tati (new)

Tati It might be great, but I don't think I could go through with the procedure. I can't even use eyedrops, I absolutely hate anything getting too close from my eyes (no, I don't wear contacts)

message 4691: by CourtLovesBooks (new)

CourtLovesBooks I used to think contacts were weird but now that I've had them for over a year I love them. There so much better than glasses.

I'm the same! I've triede contacts though, but they weren't good enough when I last tried, so I kept being able to feel them and they sort of hurt my eyes. Not like pain pain, but it was definitely irritating! :/ It's okay though, I like my glasses. To me, it's more unique :D Gotta look at the bright side, right? :)

message 4694: by Abi (new)

Abi (abi_gr) | 27659 comments I've never tried contacts. The thought of having to stick something into my eyes makes me feel weird.

Tati I'm cleaning out my shelves, and I have quite a few books that I do not want anymore. As I won't be able to sell them here in Brazil, as they are in English, I've decided to put them on offer here. They are free, are not new, and will be given away in a first come, first served basis.

Here they are:

The Lies of Locke Lamora (Gentleman Bastard #1) by Scott Lynch Noughts & Crosses (Noughts & Crosses, #1) by Malorie Blackman Good Omens The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Terry Pratchett
