I prefer e-readers due to luggage restrictions.

I prefer to read hardcover, I like the feeling of a book and the smell of a book. I do have a tablet which I don't mind using when I travel. I also enjoy listening to audiobooks especially when I am working.
I love my nook during the school year because as a teacher with two children at home going to the library is hard but for the summer it's hardcover books.
I hate dusting bookshelves.I hate moving books. Especially if you've ever had to move to a place with less space and no where to put all of your books.
I hate carrying heavy hardcover books.
I hate losing books. (ie...leaving a book on the bus or subway)
I hate forgetting my book at home or at work or in the car.
Imo, the absolute best thing about ebooks is that I can carry a cute little wristlet clutch just big enough for my phone and some lip gloss and still have an entire library available to me.
I got given a Kindle for my birthday and love it. How great to take it away on holiday and have a multitude of books instead of lugging a heavy bag. That said, my kindle will never totally replace physical books in my affections, as I adore the feel and smell of them, plus it's good not to look at a screen all the time ;)
Hardcover definitely! Although I also use ebooks. I just feel more in touch with the story when I'm able to turn the pages of it.
I definitely prefer a good old fashioned book, I love the way it feels and smells in my hands. However, for convenience sake I prefer the kindle its just easier and I can carry so many different books at once without weighing down my purse etc.
I love my Kindle because I don't have to tote a bag of books when I go on vacation and I can have a book in a matter of minutes whenever I want. I realized shortly after I got my first Kindle that it didn't matter to me that I didn't have a hard copy book in my hand when instead of hitting the button to turn the page , I attempted to turn the page as if I had a book in my hands.
( I now have touch screen version).
I will read a hard copy book if I want to read something that is not available as an e-book.
I did not take the transition lightly , as I was a librarian for 28 years, but the transition was seamless for me. Love my Kindle!
I use both my tablet and hardcover books. But when it comes to my preferences, I guess I belong to old fashion school. I love the feeling of holding a hardcover book, and I love the smell of new books.
E-reader! I have four different models of Kindles, plus occasionally read on my Galaxy Note 2 cell phone.
Definitely books in print. Something about reading from a tablet takes the experience away from me. I love to smell my books, flip through the pages, feel them, hold them. Nothing can replace a printed book for me.
I prefer my E-reader when it is a fun readI prefer paperback or hardcover when I'm reading something intense or literary.
I use all three. I love being able to read in bed without waking anyone but nothing feels better than having a real book in my hands.
I fought the iPad for a long time. I love the smell of a book, old or new. But I can't deny the ease of pulling out the iPad rather than a huge book. Not to mention the space it frees up on my bookshelf.
I am an avid kindle reader. I just got the paper white which goes from the sun to darkness. It's absolutely fabulous
I love to have the actual book in my hand. It's like a link to the past; like you're actually holding history in the palm of your hand. The e-reader, for me, makes you feel distant; like you're reading from afar.
I enjoy reading using my iPad/Kindel App for everything I read, although I miss an occasional book in hand.
I love reading in night, so mostly before going to bed is my go to reading habit, and I find using a kindle more convenient for me.
I usually have one physical book, one ebook and one audiobook all going at the same time. Different situations call for different reading media options
E-reader, easier to put in my purse, I can adjust the size of the letters and the light, which makes it so much easier for me to 'grab' a book instead of first searching for my reading-glasses, LOL. I also think it might be better for the environment. But I still buy hardcover books to support the lovely little bookshop in our town.
I love reading anything, and I’ll read with anything, but I prefer my Nook. I have so many books, e-readers, and tablets, that I forget that I can use my iPad. I still enjoy using a regular book also. Hardcover or soft cover. Nothing beats the artwork, the craft, and the smell of the fresh pages.
Love to hold the physical book, preferably paperback, and turn pages, and back again, if needed. Paperback is bendable and can fold comfortably in my hands. There you have it. What format do you prefer?
I enjoy having the option. The books I buy for research I like to keep in ebook format. When I'm travelling, I really appreciate a fully loaded ebook. But also completely adore the physical presence of a printed book. Our small home is filled with bookshelves and the bookshelves are nearly full.
